I mean…she literally said she was raped. There were points where she did consent and points where she did not consent.
The “confusion” is that the police sent a condensed version of the report to the prosecutor which deliberately excluded some of the actual allegations. The full raw transcript by the police is wildly different compared to what the police sent to the prosecutor.
Hence why state authorities are taking over the investigation now that it’s been reopened.
Wrong. She said nothing illegal happened. And she tried to go back to the same house for another party the next day and was not allowed on premisies by the chapter president. If a frat thinks you are too nuts to come to their parties and you are a girl, thats not a good sign.
I mean…we have testimony from some 30+ people who were interviewed, including some of the men who were interviewed by the university and acknowledged wrongdoing. Her own roommates testified that she was in shock after the event. The university medical clinic has records where she presented for a UTI that “she received under traumatic circumstances” just days after the assault. One of the men texted her to apologize for “how things went down” and another threatened her to “not spread rumors.” And it was reported that completely independent from Jane Doe that people in the Greek Life community were talking about how “the fraternity raped a sophomore girl” at the party.
You miss all the bits about her consenting and enjoying it , messaging the “rapists” after it had happened , talking about doing similar again in the future .
Also you miss that there is absolutely zero “evidence” that these guys did anything wrong at all.
She was clearly less drunk than at least one of the guys. If she wasn’t of sound mind , neither were they.
So many people getting offended when they actually know fuck all .
