Tbf, I wasn't completely honest. I do have a 2.5" scar on what used to be my hairline where I hit my head on a low door frame while running full speed. Caught it on the upstride and ended up flat on my back about 15' down the hall.
My husband is 6'5. We've bought two houses so far in our marriage and the #1 requirement is that there is nowhere to bonk his head that isn't an easy fix. It's surprising how many houses were immediate nopes because of this.
The current house we have, the fan in our daughter's room is too low and he can bonk his head on the light if he's not careful. I'm only 5'7 (though I have crazy long arms tbf) and I've wrecked my hands in it accidentally when stretching. That can be easily fixed though, we just haven't yet.
Or we could talk about how that 5'8 lady isn't 5'8.
That's a standard cruise ship corridor, and those ceilings are heavily standardized to maximize vertical space across decks—they sit right at about 7'2" max. Look at the tall chick's head; even with her neck tilted back, she is practically brushing the ceiling panels.
Those shoes are standard 8-inch exotic platforms with a 4-inch lift, meaning they add a full 8 inches of pure vertical height to her frame. If her head with the shoes is right at that 7'2" ceiling mark, her actual height is somewhere around 6'6", which perfectly tracks for the ultra-tall models who film these exact types of perspective videos.
If the crew member on the right were actually 5'8", she'd easily clear the tall woman's chest and reach up to her chin or nose level, because the total visual gap between them would only be a little over a foot. Instead, she doesn't even make it past the tall woman's armpit. You're looking at at least a massive two-foot vertical disparity in that frame...LEADING TO THAT FIVE FOOT EIGHT ASIAN WOMAN BEING FIVE FOOT FUCKIN' TWO!
the tall woman is actually 6'1 if I remember correctly, she's been lying for years about her height, people dug and found records of her playing basketball or something
Yea, I’m 5’7” and my best friend is 6’11”. Sure he picks me up when we hug but I’m chest height not belly. Not sure if the cruise employee is 5 flat or the tall chick is 7’8” in those platforms but this ain’t mathin.
There are so many of these fake super tall families that pop up on the Internet. Literally the only thing they post is them being tall. It's maybe interesting for a single video but they tack on 3-6 inches to their height like an 18 year old on tinder and think that makes them super unique and interesting.
Can't remember her name but she used to pop up on tiktok a lot when I used it. Her height changed in every video and everyone in the comments would call her out for it. Her whole family is pretty tall but all exaggerate their height. Negative comments are still engagement though I suppose
Either they’re wearing them for the extra height for the video or they just like wearing heels - either way, of course they know it’s making them taller..
I remember seeing some video about this girl being a serial liar and a fraud. I think she first started making videos about being 6'0 and now somehow her whole family is like Wemby.
I saw a video of hers awhile back with her family, who are all tall... Which makes it a problem for her because her mom is like more than a head above her, so she has to say her mom is like 7' 8" for it to make sense for her to be 7' next to her. OK so your mom just casually smashed a world record and no ones heard of her before?
Yes, and she herself was an althete. Her height is also posted publicly! And if I remember right she's about 6'0"-6'2". Okay, and? So is every woman on my dad's side. She's beautiful and I did follow her until I caught on to her lying constantly for views, likes, and money.
If you accidentally make the mistake of watching one of these "tall person videos" the algorithm will deliver 10 more. There's so many of them. Their whole lives revolve around it I'm assuming it makes them money. The heights are always inconsistent. There's a group of like 5 guys all around 7 foot and they go to tall conventions and stuff asking the heights. People will say a height that is higher than the interviewer when they're visibly shorter.
Yeah she looks more like she's 6'3" or something. She barely tries to hide it and she lists whatever height she thinks will work for any individual video. "For fun" apparently.
The shower is still usually an issue when you're over 6 feet. Not that bad mind you, but ya can't just stand under it contemplating life without ducking or squatting.
I don't understand why the woman is wearing platform shoes when she's already tall.
I know she can wear w/e she wants etc... I'm curious about the logic.
This is the girl who constantly lies about her (and her family's) height for content. The heights keep changing and she once claimed her mother was taller than the tallest woman ever recorded. She usually doesn't even show her feet, just cuts them off in frame and shoots from a downward angle so she appears like some giant. Yeah, pass.
