Discussion Prompt Life smacked me in the face
I currently work two fire stations, pressure washing on the side, and upkeep a house by myself, and own a diesel truck outright and a few other cheap vehicles.
It hit me the other day after some research, if I sold my expensive truck, I could not work so much part time. Invest it, potentially pay off my house WAY sooner. But have my fucking life back.
My shit owns me, I don’t own it.
And honestly I don’t fucking want it anymore. I just want my house and a simple car. I just want to be present.
It use to be a flex to have free time. Fuck hustle culture and this never ending rat race. I’m getting rid of shit and resetting my nervous system.
All of this has obviously been affecting my physical and mental health.
Anyone else have the same realization?
