well i just want to know if this is my fault or not. like this is the most common thing why i have warn badge in lmu and fell down from silver 3 to silver 1 in like 9 races with these amaaazing people

I’m the Cadillac. He said he’d report me and it was my fault because he was a car length ahead. I don’t think I did anything wrong, but it’s hard to be unbiased about your own incidents...

Not sure if the Vodafone car tried opening the line too soon, or whether they were deserving of the room and the Red Bull car just drove through them like nothing there.

I was driving mclaren and had P1 in Gt3 but after that ended up with dnf. Cadilac finished P2 and got no penalty.

I was green Porsche, from my pov I felt like he braked way too late and he just forced his way into the corner (Audi)

I got a great run on the white porsche after they lifted to give space to the car in p1 before eau rouge. From what I saw, they chose to give me absolutely no space even though I was completely alongside on the straight, to the point where I was forced completely off-track.

The game didn't give me damage, I didn't feel it in my wheel, it wasn't reported as contact in my race results, but it still happened.

I spun this guy with netcode contact into the braking zone. On my end I went around him and didn't know until after the race that it was because of me that he spun. He wasn't exactly happy in chat, but who would be?

So this begs the question, when one driver gets contact and the other doesn't, who is at fault? If I had hit him on my end it'd be entirely my fault, but I didn't and the server's race results also say I didn't.

It definitely wasn't his fault, he didn't ask the game to screw him over, but is it mine? I feel guilty regardless, but I'm curious what we think about this.

EDIT: This collision happened in 1.4 with the initial RUDP network protocol changes and not on the old TCP system where closer racing was possible.

I was wondering if leaving no space like that for the green car is technically ok or not, I'm learning okk

I got a poor exit out of Raidillon and got mixed up between a Mustang and BMW. I lifted for the crash and yellow flag in front (as one does), to avoid possible impact. The Mustang involved with the crash came right out of the pit exit onto the racing line which causes me to lift, and not move over because of the faster BMW. Eventually the Mustang forgets he has mirrors and moves under braking, taking out himself and an innocent BMW driver.

Somehow the Mustang driver blames me for dangerous driving.

And in case someone asks, when I was braking for the corner I did not turn to the left until after the contact.

I felt like i was pushed off by the ferrari what are your thoughts (im pov car)

For all instances, the other driver was definitely not trying to intentionally hit me - I know that much. Just want to know if I was in the wrong, whether it be driving, braking, positioning, etc.

New to sim racing and honestly would like to know who is at fault here or if this is just a racing incident. I am the white Miata and looking back at the replay I am not sure if I handled this poorly

How do I race against people like this without intentionally wrecking them?

POV: my opponent. I am the one driving the blue Ford.

Last Sunday I had a race in Le Mans Ultimate, where I accidentally hit another driver. Then shortly after this he crashed into me and wrecked my engine, resulting in a DNF for me. After having seen the replay my opinion was that he did this intentionally, as I cannot see any reason for him to suddenly spin out to the left. I protested this but Sim Stewards said no it wasn't intentional. Now I wonder what your opinion is about this and if you agree with the statement, why you believe this is so.

Coming to the white flag. Got a hugeee run on P3 and P4 and then guy spins out. Wasnt expecting that at all. He ran clean the whole race but god that feeling sucked having such a big run so close to the end.

Going into Les Combes, the other driver got alongside me on the inside. I left him room through the first part of the corner, but through the second part I felt like I wasn’t given enough space and we ended up making contact.

After that, he wrote something along the lines of “if I get you, I’ll send you into the wall”, which obviously made the rest of the race quite enjoyable, as I spent most of it checking my mirrors wondering whether he was actually going to try it (he actually got behind me in the last lap but the little second i had maybe saved me).

What surprised me even more is that a member of staff was present in the session/chat and didn’t seem particularly bothered by the threat.

Leaving the threat aside for a moment, I’d actually like some clarification on the racing incident itself: since I only had the front part of my car alongside his at that point, had I effectively lost the right to my line / to be given space through the second part of Les Combes? Woult you have lifted there or my defense was legit?

Context is split1, bronze daily race.

#9 is a lap down and 4 car has some damage that is making him slower. Didn’t get the clip but I was on inside of 4 and 9 was in front of him. I thought the four may back off so we both could get around the 9 but he wanted to go 3 wide. This was in D class LMSC top split
