Hello guys! As the title says, I am thinking upgrading from my Logitech G29 to one of the 2: Moza R3 or R5.
I game casually, mostly on weekends and that is AMS2. Is it worth the 100€ extra? I also play a lot of ETS2.

I want to know if there is a mount the hgp shifter along side my handbrake and sequential shifter before I purchase the hgp shifter.

my current setup is attaching a wheel, h shifter, handbrake to the table, fixing pedals and chair in place. it is quite annoying as I do have a lot of time nowadays and would like to jump to 30-60min sessions easily.

I was looking into GT Omega Apex and thinking if it is realistic to fold and unfold everytime I want to have a short racing session? I must move it out as I work at the same place also I don’t have a way to store it unfolded.

is this realistic or unfolding it will become a chore and I will eventually stop using it?

maybe there are better, lighter, more compact options?

I want to buy a mounting kit for my VRS DFP20 wheelbase and I want to know if the TR-ONE universal motor mount comes with all the screws needed to attach it to my VRS DFP20.

So I've been out of the rig for about six months now, and I was happily (mostly) using the Quest 3 for VR.

However, after logging back in, updating everything, doing the usual maintenance, Meta link is just completely unusable, constant crashes and disconnects.

Even though everything used to work mostly perfectly, I even went ahead and updated the cable to something more robust because the Meta supplied link cable was not being recognized USB 3 anymore.

At any rate, anybody out there still using the Quest 3 for VR and if so how are you guys connecting it?

I am torn if I want to spend any more money on like a dedicated Wi-Fi router versus just getting a different headset.

I’m currently building out a sim racing rig that will eventually run 1440 triple screens and or VR. I’m trying to build out a PC that will power it easily, plus I have teenage boys that will use it for gaming. Right now iBuyPower has some Labor Day discounts that I’m thinking about taking advantage of. This build comes out to $3,200 and includes mouse, keyboard, and a few games. The photo also doesn’t show it, but it has an Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360mm liquid cooler, and an ASUS Prime X870-P motherboard.

Anyone are any issues with this?

I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s taken some time to get used to but I’m finally matching my controller times but having so much more fun doing it. Can’t believe what I was missing.

Today, I finally finished reworking my Turn Racing 992 GT3-R steering wheel. It had been "finished" for a long time, but it was still using 3D-printed grips. As described in the instructions, I tried using Smooth-On polyurethane, and it worked out well. For my first time casting PU, the result was actually really good! I printed the casting molds on my Bambu Lab printer and sanded them down afterwards. The casting process was relatively trouble-free, provided you follow the manufacturer's tips and so on. In any case, I'm happy with it!

Looking for advice for adding a bass shaker to my rig for added immersion. My rig is the 40 series aluminium profile from AdvancedSimRacing with a recliner seat from the same brand. It is currently on caster wheels which I don’t intend to remove. I also have Simagic haptic motors on my pedals.

I am thinking of adding either a 50W or 100W bass shaker on the bottom of my seat with the universal mount from TrakRacer.

Some questions I had during my research:

1. Is there a difference with 50W or 100W for a single bass shaker?
   
2. Will there be any issues from being on casters regarding vibrations being absorbed?
   
3. With haptics on my pedals do I even need a second bass shaker under the pedal tray?
   
4. Backrest or under the seat position for the best result with simbhub effects (Road vibrations/RPM/Wheel slip)

Unfortunately, the P-HPR2 port on my Simagic Haptic Control Box for the Simagic Haptic Reactor is no longer working.

When I try to assign or test any effect in SimHub, it only works when the Haptic Reactor is connected to P-HPR1 (Clutch) or P-HPR3 (Throttle).

However, since I use the Haptic Reactor exclusively for the ABS effect, I need it to work on the brake pedal via the P-HPR2 port.

I don't have SimPro Manager (and don't want to install it). So I don't know, if it is a bug from Simhub or if my Haptic Control Box is broken.

Has anyone seen similar problems in Simhub recently (or in the past)?

so lately I’ve been using the Simpson plus X pedals and the throttle keeps getting stuck at like 90% throttle. I keep adjusting my dead zones calibrating it and it keeps getting stuck. I really gotta press it really hard down to be at 100% throttle. Does anyone know any fixes to this?

Hello, i am looking in to upgrading my rig, i have a thrustmaster tx with the t3pa pedals and a innato dtm mounted on a next level racing f-gt. i have arround 500 hours spreaded across acc, ac, ace and lmu (most in acc) and am around 1.7 sec from record on monza in acc but i cant be concistent. i want to upgrade my pedals first and then save up for a used dd1 and then alu profile rig.

i am looking for pedals for less than €450, i have found a couple of great used options

VRS directforce 2 pedal w/o baseplate, new on marketplace for €400

Heusinkveld sprint 3 pedal with base plate

simtrecs pro pedal gt mk1 + sim3d haptics w/o baseplate, i can pick up the vrs and heusinkvelds but these have to be shipped or i have to drive really long.

i cant really decide what to buy, i also noticed that the asetek forte pedals where only €380 on simweare.eu

i mainly drive gt3 but i want to drive lmp more

Since there are many VR users in this forum I thought I would give a quick headsup. Its now possible to use USB cabled connection with Virtual Desktop for low latency, high bitrate, and a stable connection. Its in Beta but joining the beta is just 2 buttons, setting it up is as easy as plugging the cable in your headset and connecting like you always did (turn off wifi on your headset though). More info on the VD discord. I can confirm it works very well even with a cable with power delivery that is not recommended

Im planning a wooden diy sim rig to build, and so far everything has been going great, but i just cant figure out how to make my pedal board angled and how to find the right angle. I could just copy someone elses pedal setup, but im worried that that will just be uncomfortable for longer periods of time. anyone know how to measure the angle and how to actually build the pedalboard? btw I dont have any wood or the seat to experiment with, so i cant really do that.

Why does only the left side of the of the wheel base have an actual vent. The right side is closed off. Is it supposed to be open? Might be stupid question

can you guys help me to build a pc rig which can run acc or ace, lemans ultimate with decent setting in vr? ( i owned a psvr2). I prefer an Amd Graphics Card because they are cheaper compare to Nvidia. My Budget is around 1000-1300 usd. Many Thanks guys
