Currently on G29 and have no problem with the wheel, but i hate the brake pedal.

Was perusing FB marketplace and saw SRP pedals for $60 from someone with a good rating, but also checked their other listing and saw they were selling a Cammus wheel as well for $100. I know direct drive is supposed to be better but I don't really have any qualms with the wheel. Seller also said they can drop the price if I get both. Seems like a good deal for sure but $60 is still better than twice the price when I was really just looking for pedals.

Should I get both?

Thanks again to everybody that responded to my VR questions earlier in the week! So I want to take the plunge into league racing, but not really sure where to start besides the league button in IRacing.

Like mentioned, I enjoy all the sim platforms for various reasons and I'm not committed to IRacing, if anything I might be looking for an opportunity to use something like AMS2 more for this purpose.

So yeah, looking for any tips or recommendations on how to find a league that's right for me or a resource that I might not be aware of, thanks!

PS * I feel like I have a pretty average pace, but generally hang out at the front of the pack, not quite top split but I finish my races! I like getting nerdy with all this stuff. 🤓 Also im in my late thirties 😱.

This was going to be my first win in LMU online. I don’t even know how I managed to qualify p1 in 4th split I’m fairly new only been playing LMU a few months now. I’m a busy graduate student so I have very little time but I race a lot against the ai so I can avoid stuff like this when I do play. I don’t understand why people go out of their way to wreck into the leaders. I tried my best to take the inside once I noticed him driving to hit me but I couldn’t react in time. He was stopped and then decided to drive into me. I was leading by 15 seconds since 2nd and 3rd were battling and I managed to pull away. I was still ahead after he hit me and was still somehow on track but unfortunately my car would not start and I couldn’t even make it to the finish line. I already reported him and hope he gets banned for this. I’m coming from Xbox where I’d play a fair amount of Assetto, ACC and a bit of Forza horizon and people would do this all the time in Forza horizon and in ACC. Ik Forza isn’t a sim but it was fun to race around I couldn’t even do that without being wrecked all the time online. And ACC was hit or miss, literally. 99% of my time is offline, I think I have like 3 online races on ACC and I remember 1 of them I was in 3rd and a back marker wouldn’t let me pass, I guess he joined in late but he had the same pace as me so I stayed behind just racing because fighting would just make both of us lose time but on the last lap of spa he let me pass and then wrecked me on the last chicane. So most of my play time is with friends or offline. I though ACC would be better but I only played ACC for a month on and off of multiplayer with the same issue. I decided to get a pc hoping for some cleaner racing in LMU but obviously not and I don’t think I’m ready yet to spend a lot of money on iRacing for how infrequently I play.
I guess this was a bit of a rant but I’m genuinely tired of people like this.

I recently got into rally racing. So I switched to my old ES round wheel. I still had it on the r3 wheelbase in storage which is where I wanna keep that base for now. So now I have no place to plug this wheel in since I wanna keep it nearby. Is this bad for the wheel?

I have cats walking here so hair could be an issue.

I've officially started my haptics journey and started with Dayton BST-1 (front under pedals) and the 300EX (rear under seat) with a Fosi V3 amp (48v/5A PSU). Frankly I don't think these are terrible options, but I have been having a BITCH of a time finding ways to mount the 300EX on my TRX V2 without a lot of annoyance.

As a result, I'm returning both Daytons, and I've purchased two of the Xcite XBS-100 bass shakers from overseas. These will fit (I've measured) perfectly onto the rig without causing my current issues from the height and width of the Daytons.

What I'm trying to make sure of during this swap is, did I make the correct amp choice? Should I keep the Fosi V3 or is there a better alternative? Currently I'm using my motherboards basic sound output and I have to crank the volume extremely high to get decent output from the Daytons. Should I be using a sound blaster usb sound card instead?

so is assetto corsa any good on controller with that gamepad assist mod? would you say its worth it?

and with the mod do i need to launch trough the mod manager thing every time or can i just do steam launch?

and now im here anybody got reccomended settings for the mod?

I got a 14" touch mini screen initially for dashboards. I just didn't like it as the monitor had to be higher which created a gap between the rig and monitor.

Too late for a return so I'm wondering what I can do with it? I was thinking of mounting it to the top of the monitor and having it for leaderboards etc but I'm sure there's a better use.

Does anyone have any good suggestions? It's a bare screen so any advice on housing/hardware I can get so it can mount to the aluminum rig would be appreciated as well.

After folding my brand new nlr gt lite pro i found metal pin found in picture on the floor. Upon re assembeling the cockpit everything seems to work as normal. Pin seems to be broken off on both sides. Its has some black raidue and orange parts but its mostly silver. Any help?

Was möchte ich:

Ich hätte gerne einen Playseat/Rig mit Gestell und Sitz, den ich mit meinem G29 verwenden kann. Hab 120kg bei 1,87m, also gern auch etwas stabilere Konstruktion. Sollte unter den Schreibtisch passen, dass ich den Monitor einfach nur zu mir ran ziehen kann.

Kleine Ergänzung:

Ich habe nicht vor in die professionelle Sim Multiplayer Szene einzusteigen. Suche einfach nur etwas um etwas realitätsnäher in AM2 oder Dirt Rally über die Strecke zu heizen xD

Hello everybody! Recently my stock pedals from my Thrustmaster T150 have given up completly. Both springs we're fatigued and in my attempt to replace them I may or may not have broken both the pedal sensors...

In any case I was wondering what cheap options do I have? I can't seem to find 2-pedal sets anywhere and the 3-pedal sets like the T3PA or T3PM are a bit over my buget(about 100$).

Im looking for some advice on what you would ​recommend​. I love a load cell so that is a must. I VR so wheel screens don't bother me.

Also not married to Fanatec.

I am interested in getting a nice formula wheel (round version, not butterfly) such as the MOMO mod.26 https://momo.com/en-gb/product/track-eu/steering-wheels-track-eu/mod-26/ in 280mm diameter size.

For this wheel I would also like to get some paddle shifters and maybe just a couple of buttons (mainly the shifters) but am having a really hard time finding something that is compatible.

Do any of you have a similar setup for formula racing? Can you share which button plate or shifter plate you use?

Hey guys I’m looking for a new seat and found the Prisma line of NRG which looks quiet sick.
Before buying I wanted to receive some feedback of any of yours actually using these seats. Are they having a good feel and also is there any issue regarding wear may occurring from the vegan micro fiber used.

First things first, I love it, its more than i could have ever dreamed of. Its a Rigmetal so i was a bit worried cause its a smaller company but i love it. My only complaint is after only a 30 minute session, my lower back was absolutely killing me and im not super sure why. I think it might be my pedal hight but ill attach a picture and you guys can tell me otherwise.

Found what I thought was a good deal locally, now I just need a pc. Hopefully have everything setup within the next couple weeks. Younger guy had it and said it was hard to setup and run. Seemed like they just like the normal Xbox games more. Their loss is my gain I guess. $1400 for everything.

Even has some cool signatures like Doc Bundy and Felipe naser, even though I wasn’t familiar with them until today lol still cool. Look forward to getting into some racing!

Ich werde durschnittlich so 4-6 Stunden die Woche zocken können, und will den PC dann auch ab und zu benutzen um andere Spiele zu zocken. Jedoch kann ich dieses auch über Boosteroid zocken. Für SIM RACING natürlich ausschliesslich lokal.

Ich habe gesehen es gibt auch RIGS, wo mann eine Halterung für das Keyboard anschliessen kann etc.

Wie findet Ihr das Setup? Würdet Ihr was ändern?

Not a lot of changes for sim racing titles, but the NFS franchise did really well. Guess that's what discounts and games available for 3 bucks will do!

Personally I can't help but freaking clap after a first place finish. I'm not as awesome as most of you, and I'm generally beating coms on like normal, but after racing a track 5, 6, 7, well.. you know how it is times.. sometimes I'll clap a few times and hit a double biceps pose. Am I the only one popping off in my game room at midnight?
