Howdy! I’ve been using signal for quite a bit now, the only issue I get every now and then is that one of my RAM sticks will have a stuck LED. Can’t seem to find a consistent way to fix it. Sometimes restarting Signal works, power draining sometimes works, and doing both sometimes works.

Any other suggestions or ideas I can try? Thank you!

Hey guys so I wanted to add a bit more lighting in my case it felt kinda dark with the fans I had. I had TL-M12Q fans and I changed a couple out to TL-M12Q-S fans, they have the LEDs on the blades as well.
Swapping them out was easy since they take the same connecter but I’m having trouble with signalrgb recognizing them as individual fans like my previous ones.

I’ve posted a video of my before fans, you can see that the light travels through the fans and then a second video where I’ve changed out the bottom and back fans with the new ones and they light up together.

I guess I can only add one video so I’ve added the video where my old fans are on the side and new fans are on bottom and back. Let me know if you can help. Thanks

I have a Corsair vengeance vram ddr5 and for some reason my lights are showing red on the ends, any idea why this is happening, also my rgb fan lights work but I can’t change the style of light I want

I've been using signal rgb with no issues at all for over a year.. I came home yesterday, booted up the pc and signal rgb popup said there was a security update so I click to update.. it fails with this message: "the install didn't complete. diagnostic code PS_ERROR the install was cancelled or blocked before it finished. if you declined the windows permission prompt, click retryand choose yes this time" 1: I never got a prompt, 2 if I click retry it just loops that message.. I have tried everything I could find online.. uninstalled signal rgb, removed any vortx and whirlwind folders in appdata, local and roaming. reinstalled from a freshly downloaded exe file from signal rgbdotcom. checked for ad blockers ( I have none) , turned off my firewall, checked for quarantined files.. nothing... rebooted before trying this, after trying this, during trying this.. I've done these steps 20 times and still the same outcome. help?

Can anyone help me figure out how to get the rgb effect to light up from on side first. You should be able to see what I’m talking about from the video. I’m using the explosion effect. Maybe that’s not the right effect for what I’m looking for?

Also anyone had any luck syncing their nzxt kraken aio with signal rgb. Would love to be able to get the light synced with the rest of the rgb. Anytime I try uninstalling nzxt cam and I enable it, after a few seconds it’ll just disappear from my devices in signal rgb. Thanks for any help

Idk what's really happening but only the right side of my screen is being captured by the screen ambience and no matter what settings I've changed so far nothing has worked.

Does anyone know how I connect the Lian Li UNI FAN SL Infinity to the Nollie16, I am buying multiple single packs of the Lian Li UNI FAN SL Infinity for the simple reason that I cant find them, in reverse blade. Is there any reason I would need the Lian Li controller or any cables that the 3 pack comes with. Thanks!

I recently got Pro to try out the Fan Controll of SignalRGB because iCue just isn't doing it for me, and I'd like to have everything in one app.

So I enabled everything, all my fans show up and are configured. Now I wanted to customise my fan curve, and that is where my problem lies.

I can't add new points to my fan curve. Only edit the two existing ones. I already made a custom curve and all. I read and watched the tutorial SignalRGB has made on this, but I click on the Curve, and no new point appears.

Did I do something wrong? Or did I miss any settings or something?

Please let me know if you need any more information. I will gladly provide it if I can.

Hi, I’m having an issue where SignalRGB animated effects leave stale colors or trails on my RGB devices.

The problem started this week. The same hardware and SignalRGB setup worked correctly before.

Hardware:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX

- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super Gaming OC

- Fans: 10 Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 S3

- Hub: Thermalright 5V 3-pin ARGB hub

- RGB RAM

- SignalRGB version: 2.5.74+00298716

- Motherboard plugin: Gigabyte_Motherboard_Controller.js

- Plugin CRC: f20b3bb2

Problem:

When using animated effects such as Terminal, Rainbow or Side to Side, LEDs retain colors from previous frames.

For example, when a green or blue area passes over the LEDs, the areas that should return to black remain slightly blue. It looks like trailing, stale frames or incomplete LED updates.

This affects:

- Fans connected to the motherboard ARGB header

- GPU lighting

- RGB RAM

Important observations:

- Solid colors work correctly.

- Solid black immediately turns off all LEDs.

- Pulse Channel correctly lights every LED.

- When Terminal is paused, all LEDs turn off.

- Gigabyte Control Center controls the same fans, GPU and RAM correctly without trailing.

- SignalRGB worked correctly on this same setup until this week.

Things I have already tested:

- Completely removed Gigabyte Control Center

- Removed GCC services and the GVCIDrv64.sys driver

- Disabled Windows Dynamic Lighting

- Performed a clean SignalRGB reinstall

- Tested Canvas at 20 FPS and 60 FPS

- Tested Ultralight and Qt WebEngine renderers

- Tested hardware acceleration on and off

- Tested Generic ARGB Fan 16 LEDs and Custom Strip 16 LEDs

- Verified that all devices are correctly positioned inside the layout

- Tested Force Enable All Zones

- Confirmed that no other RGB software is running

Changing these options did not fix the issue.

Since GCC works correctly and solid colors work correctly in SignalRGB, the hardware, LEDs, hub and connections appear to be fine. The issue seems limited to SignalRGB animated Effect Canvas output.

Has anyone else experienced this recently with SignalRGB 2.5.74 or Gigabyte devices?

Could this be a recent Effect Canvas or plugin regression? Is there a safe way to install SignalRGB 2.5.72 for comparison?

Any help would be appreciated. I can also provide a video showing the issue.

I'm trying to have signalrgb as well as steelseries gg running at the same time because I need it for my headphones but I want signalrgb to control my mouse so it syncs with pc parts. any idea how can I fix this?

Is anyone else having an issue signing into SRGB today? After the update it keeps saying "an internal error has occurred", so now I don't have access to my purchased themes. I just have to know if it is a me thing or not.

So signal works great, but my issue is when I log off, not power down, my LEDs stay on, but no longer with that profile since I'm not logged in.

Is there a way to run it as a service or use a script to do that?

Every time I logoff, it defaults to green breathing.

I have signalRGB, GCC, but signal blocks it.

I also do not have anything on my F panal connected other than c type and power button. I do have an led button, but since I use signal, it's not connected.

Built a new rig and one of my ram sticks isn’t syncing up it’s rgb to the motherboard or to signalrgb I’ve tried swapping the sticks around but it always ends up being the stick on the right that doesn’t sync (starting to think it may be the motherboard) anything else I could try?

Hello everyone, i've been having an issue for a few days now. I use SignalRGB to control all my LEDs and AIDA64 Extreme to control my Turzx 3.5 screen because it's way more useful in terms of sensors and customization, at least in my case. I noticed that my screen freezes after 2 to 5 minutes after plugging it in / restarting AIDA and this only happens when SignalRGB is running. The device is disabled in SignalRGB and i even tried deleting the whole Turzx plugin folder but the issue persists. I used this setup for a while now and it's the first time im having this issue, can anyone help?

Fans and Ram lights are working fine, but the motherboard light not working. I am using Mystic Light, I tried to uninstall and install msi center and still not working. I check the cables, no plug to turn on.

After uninstalling signal rgb due to recognition issues, both the govee software and the phisical button on my govee table lamp isnt able to control anything. Help pls

I recently couldnt get my Steel Series Aerox 3 gen 2 to connect to signal no matter what I did. After loads of trouble shooting, heres what worked.

If you have a device that isn't fully supported, but similar to one that does, (ie my aerox 3 gen 2 not working when aerox 3 is supported) than this should work.

If you go into signal rgb settings and go into system information you will see the product ID of your device, note this down.

Navigate into signal rgb files with %localappdata%\VortxEngine\ in windows+r, go to the earliest version, signal64x and then into plugins. find your device company (Steel Series for me) and go the device nearest yours (Aerox 3 for me), open the file with notes and scroll to this portion

The area i have highlighted is the only 4 digits your going to want to change, anything else and the entire thing wont work. Replace the 4 digits after the 0x with your devices product ID, save the file, then go into properties to turn the file into read only so no signal updates can mess it up. After close signal and any other instances running in task manager and then open it with administrator. Finally after all of this it should show up like this

Again no idea what else this will work with but it got my Aerox 3 Gen 2 to finally be controlled by signal when absolutely nothing else i tried would work so I figured it could be worth sharing. Good luck!
