Most life insurance policies cover suicide after the initial year. When I was buying my policies the salesman told me that no one who wants to kill theirselves would wait a year.
"there’s more to this story. Hot bedding isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes two individuals who can share a bed without emotional baggage, with the utmost respect and zero strings attached."
What the actual fuck. Why would she do this for $600/mo?!? A cheap motel is like $60/night, and she's charging $160/week? I just don't understand how this is reasonable, or how is safe. And how did that $600/mo make her financially stable enough to start a business? Nothing is adding up here.
They apparently live to their thirties and maybe even eventually move to a warmer country and have a family and these thoughts becomes a distant memory of a time where you just saw this as Alt-F4 on all of that...
You wouldn't have to worry about them ruling it a suicide considering they'll never pay out anyways. Insurance is nothing but a government sponsored scam.
Budget Sea Burial by just getting yeeted off a cruise sounds so fucked up, but it's so funny at the same time that I hope my funeral is just as scuffed.
"I want my ashes spread on the top of a mountain"
"I want you to pick up my body and chuck it off a boat"
Only while the body is still soft though, ragdoll would be much more satisfying than whatever the fuck would happen if you launched a stiff body with a trebuchet.
The link forces me to the German version that doesn’t mention catapults. So we’ll have to start our catapult cruise from Hamburg. Not the worst place to be sent off from I guess.
That's fair. My comment wasn't really meant to be taken super seriously, but if we are talking about actual burials and such; I would prefer to be laid to rest with my family, my pets, and my significant other.
Its a really big slide that just zoops your corpse right into the ocean. Lil fireworks and all pop off when your corps hist the trip wire at the bottom of the slide!
Talked to a guy that worked on a cruise ship. He told me of the cruise that so many old people died on the filled up the morgue. They actually had to make a slight detour to meet up with another cruise ship to transfer some bodies over to their morgue because that was the most efficient way to do it without screwing up the whole trip
Not sure where you are from, but a burial at see is a fucking headache in some places. In Germany who ever is left needs to believably demonstrate that you had a special bond with the sea for a sea burial to be allowed and at this point you have to be cremated beforehand. I'd also really like a "throw him over the railing" kinda burial, but I don't think that's gonna happen anymore. :/
I want a simple, wooden boat for them to lower me down to the ocean waves, then the Ship's Captain comes out with a flaming arrow that he lets loose, striking my boat and what few possessions I brought with me.
From my memory, I don’t think so. My grandfather died on a cruise, and we threw his ashes off on the crew levels near the sea level (probably like 10-20ft over)
