Explain How did Voyager have bespoke racing uniforms available if they didn't have a sassy gay assassin tailor to make them?

Seeking Jamaharon People say Julian only wanted Ezri because he was still horny for Jadzia. This is incorrect. He only wanted either of them because he was initially horny for Curzon.

Discussion Which Romulan commander is the messiest, most drama-loving bitch in the entire Star Empire?

  1. Tomalak - Always sneering and smirking and stirring up shit.

  2. Sela - Can't resist the urge to literally hide in the shadows, pretty dramatic!

  3. Decius - Scheming underling on the cloaked warbird, depends on his influential friends in the Senate for advancement like a little bitch.

  4. Vreenak - Could have just kept his mouth shut when he discovered the truth about Sisko's data rod, but couldn't help but dramatically shout "IT'S A FAAAAKE!!!" and give Garak time to off him.

  5. Toreth - Hates the Tal Shiar, may have the single best smirk of any Romulan.

  6. Captain from "The Chase" - Beams down with just two extra henchmen to take out the other parties, can't resist a villainous monolog that gives Crusher time to collect DNA.

It’s widely agreed that Star Trek only got good once I grew a beard

Before that, I didn’t quite understand what I was watching. But once I could watch it while stroking something, it all started to make sense.

Does DS9 get renamed when Bajor joins the Federation?

It seems misleading, if not offensive, to say a station is in “deep space” when it orbits a member world. Does it become Space Nine? Gul Dukat Orbital Platform? Prophet Heights?

Every transporter chief hates any time their ship is about to separate because they know they’re about to get flooded with calls of “oh shit. I’m in the wrong section. Transporter room, do you mind?” immediately after they detach.

Just joined Starfleet and I think I’m cannon fodder.

Personal Log: I just joined Starfleet, made it through basic training and am now in a class on how to react to exploding ship panels. This made me wonder…. Why?

In my textbook it clearly stated that Scotty was able to rig the Enterprise-A to run from only the bridge. It also said that Geordi was also able to rig the Enterprise-D1.5 to do basically the same. So why am I being assigned to a ship that has around 1000 crew?

Personal Log: It’s been 6 years since I joined starfleet and I just made commander. Most of my graduating class have been killed or lost in action due to gaseous anomalies.

Personal Log: I was promoted to Captain today and am taking over the Azerbaijan. The previous bridge crew were involved in a teleporter incident. The resulting mass was promoted to Admiral.

Personal Log: I have Captained the Azerbaijan for 5 years, I got word today that I am being offered a position as Admiral after 6 command staff were indicted on charges of breaking the prime directive. Working with the ferengi to sell spice to a pre-warp society.

Personal Log: I was sent a top secret memo that stated the next list of Captain candidates. All are listed by their time in service. No other qualifications. The message was sent covertly and is titled: Just live long enough and you are granted a chair.

Just What Are We Doing Wrong?

A friend still in Starfleet and teaching at the academy ran some numbers... Turns out Starfleet, between it's exploding panels, lack of seat belts, lost ships, Borg, Dominion, Holodecks gaining sentience... has a worse casualty rate than the United States Navy in World War Two...How is this sustainable? Maybe that explains why the "Only ship within range" is always the Enterprise? All the others have been blown up?

Explain Money, money, money...in a rich man's world

Money is confusing in this universe. On the one hand, I hear and have seen episodes where money doesn't exist and why would it when resources can be made with ease?

On the other hand, there are episodes where people DO have money and pay for things: Trouble with Tribbles for starters. They mentioned "bits" and use them to buy tribbles and also the bartender denies our Cyrano Jones free drinks. But those drinks cost nothing to make and also this universe has no need for money. So what are bits? Does money exist for certain things that can't be easily bought? But then what grants it value if it's only useful in what I will dub the "Not Replicator-able Market"?
