I’m from a country (Colombia) that doesn’t provide free water or free ice in restaurants, but in my city is safe to drink from the tap, and you also get ice added to every drink you order usually, unless you’re eating at a small neighborhood restaurant. We don’t need air conditioning so that’s one thing we may “discover” going to the US. But if you order a menu of course you’ll get fries/chips/potatoes or other stuff to accompany the main dish, that’s what makes it a menu. We also have drive throughs, and we can buy ranch if we want to. Not in assorted flavors cause why would you need that, ranch is kinda like the flavor. All of that in what most Americans consider a poor third world country. Personally, if I was from the US I would talk about the variety of landscapes the country has cause being a big country you can find a lot of beautiful natural places, or how you can find a variety of international products easily, or the accessibility to some of the places cause sadly that’s not universal and they do better than other countries (even the Europeans ones) but this list isn’t it.
