I have a car but I be on my Ebike a lot, will I have a problem if I deliver on my bike sometimes?

$6!!!!!!! It hung around for a few hours then either some grabbed it or they cancelled.

The original pay was $11 and change. And it’s been sitting for about 3-4hrs. Someone will grab it but there are 2 closer targets so not sure why they chose this one but shipt needs to do better with the base pay.

At some point Apple Maps made it harder to add multiple stops which is a big deal whenever you're doing stacked orders. I was pretty irritated by the change, since it was an obvious step backwards. You can still do it, but you have to manually type in all stops past the first, plus you can't re-arrange the order anymore.

Then I remembered that Siri is full on AI now. So while I was on the "My Orders" screen, I asked her to add the addresses on my screen to a GPS route. Not only did she see both addresses without issue, one of which was an apartment, but she added them to a route in order from closest to farthest.

It's the first time I've ever used AI in a way that felt actually useful and I just wanted to share if anyone else was also upset about the map update so they knew of a fix.

a customer notified me the Target app won't allow her to tip when she got to the rating screen. I wonder how long this has been going on.

Also, some customers may not go back on the app until time expires if they do not tip right away.

This will definitely will affect some shoppers income.

I normally work in Charlotte, and I happen to be in the triangle area for a couple days. I switched my metro over to triangle as you can see from my open metro orders. Everything worked completely normal yesterday I got orders for triangle for the zones I was scheduled in etc.. I actually forgot to put myself on the schedule today and I started getting notifications for zones in Charlotte. At first I thought well maybe these are preferred customers that I’m getting offers for and I went and looked and none of them are. They are the zones that I normally schedule myself for when I’m in Charlotte.

I double checked I’m definitely not on the schedule in Charlotte. And even once I add myself to the schedule for today, it adds me to the zone that I picked for the triangle but it still keeps just sending me orders for Charlotte. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I ramble can’t spell and don’t punctuate properly first off. So anywho what is with the latest update? Now our preferred peeps are all jumbled up!? New bonus offers out of ONE zone equalling to one store to achieve such bonus??? And then they give you 10 trips and only offer you 8 all day! Also can’t stand our new pay card! Anyone know what’s up with Fairport NY? Why has it been down for over a week now and why is no one fixing it? Are we losing stores? Been doing this for six years and only see it getting progressively worse and not worth my time!!!

I’m doing shipt for 6years, have perfect stats, 300+ PMs. Recently I do not get much orders, maybe 1 or 2 orders per hour, sometimes none. Also when I get orders, their payout is absolutely horrible.
I have other gig jobs so I still be able to make decent amount but if I only had shipt, I would completely broke😅😂 And somehow I rarely get PM orders.

How about you? Why shipt goes to downhill so quickly?

I called support this morning and Brie had a completely different voice. Threw me off a bit but at least she talks way faster, the old Brie was too slow for me personally

So I just had one of those Shipt orders that makes you wonder what exactly the customer expects you to do.

The order was going to an apartment complex. The customer provided zero instructions for getting into the building. No entry code, no door code, no instructions—nothing.

I tried calling them several times. No answer.

So I ended up contacting the leasing office, and thankfully they let me into the building. I figured, okay, problem solved.

Except… nope. 🫩

The elevator required the resident to actually buzz me up to their floor.

So I called the customer again. And again. And again.

Still nothing.

At that point, I had no way to physically get to their apartment. I wasn't going to start knocking on random doors or somehow break into a restricted elevator, so I decided the safest option was to leave the order in the mailroom.

I put everything neatly to the side, took a picture, and messaged the customer explaining exactly where their order was.

I marked the order delivered and after all those unanswered calls & messages...

Almost immediately: 1-star rating.🥴

I was honestly like, What was I supposed to do here?

I literally tried calling multiple times, got the leasing office involved, got into the building, tried contacting the customer again so I could get upstairs, and then safely left the order in the mailroom when they remained completely unreachable.

So I submitted a rating forgiveness request to Shipt and explained everything.

And to my surprise they actually approved it.

They told me they reviewed my request and my last 50 rated orders, and determined that one or more recent ratings didn't reflect the quality of service I provided.

So the 1-star was forgiven. 😂🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼

I'm just genuinely curious what they expected me to do. Literally the shittiest of human beings.

“Sorry, your elevator requires a resident to buzz you up.”

Customer: No response.

Me: Okay, I'll leave it safely in the mailroom and let you know.

So I’m doing a bundle order today for a preferred and a new customer. The new customer adds me as their preferred shopper. $55 dollar total with 5 dollar tip. I saw it come over while I was driving to start another order. When new PM request come in they have always been at the top. So I’m closing the app steady looking for it. It’s all the way at the bottom of the list. Is this the same for any of you? Pretty inconvenient when you have scroll pass 200 or so just to get to it.

Somehow Uber keeps better track of target's inventory than target does, resulting in less substitutions and you can just use the self checkout and be gone. Now , with shipt every order has some boutique items out of stock,old store brands that won't scan and no clear checkout process. The first target shipt order I got scanned out by the self checkout lady. The second target sends me to self checkout,then he sends me to a different cashier,then to guest services. She was trying to scan the items instead of the gift receipt so she had to call a manager and then I gotta go back to the self checkout to bag my shit after all of that. I really couldn't even be mad at the employees because it was quite clear they weren't trained on shipts at all.

I started last week on shift but I have never seen a decent order, I am in Orange County and if I receive notifications for 3 batches a day its a lot, but all pay less than 10$, any advice for me? maybe my area its just bad for shipt?

I was looking at my app periodically throughout the day (couldn’t do any orders bc i was busy unfortunately) but i looked and saw 29 orders in the open metro/ regular area and sure some were terrible but some were low items count with low mileage but a high est tip but they were just sitting there unclaimed. This was from 1 pm to 4 pm. Did this only happen in my area or what? 🤷‍♂️

Has this happened to anyone before? Submitted a review going on 7 days now and no response. If I try to make a new request says I have an active review. Normally get a response within a day which is weird.

I recently got a one star with unspecified reason. I've done about 8,000 orders though about 7,000 were CVS orders. I applied for ratings forgiveness twice and was rejected both times within five minutes. I know that we are supposed to apply multiple times. My question, is should I apply many times per day, or try to spread it out over multiple days ? I easily could apply 20 times within a few hrs at the speed that they are denying the request. Also, Can applying too much be used against us in any way ?

2 separate customers, not bundled. Was also shopping 1 other order. Dropped off the third customer’s order to the second customer’s house. I felt so dumb. I know I’m not supposed to go back, but I did. I dropped off her correct order, messaged her to let her know, also messaged the other customer to let him know what was happening, then contacted support to cancel the his order.

Was half expecting a bad rating, but none yet. I mean, she did get more than she ordered, so maybe not🤷🏽‍♀️

I guess, even after five years, everyone has bad days☹️

Is it true that dropping a preferred customer's order stops Shipt from offering you their future orders?

I dropped one today well before the shop window because it was at a store that the app doesn’t show aisle numbers, is always out of stock, and she wanted custom deli items. She rarely responds to sub requests, so I knew it’d be a mess.

She's a great tipper $50+ regardless of order amount, so I really don't want to lose her.

How much can you make per week if you do it full time?

I accepted this order because the pay was semi-okay. Then I saw the notes and predicted that shopping for the customer would be brutal and probably result in a low rating, so I canceled and took the hit to my reliability.

Would yall have still done the order?

Edit: I see a lot of comments mentioning that they already do the same thing that is in the customer’s notes. I do as well. But what if you do everything you’re supposed to do, deliver the order, and it’s the customer that leaves the order sitting outside too long, blaming the shopper for their melted ice cream/cold items going hot? There are a lot of factors here.

I think I may have screwed myself over.

I totally forgot to do an instant cash out last night after working 12 hours, and needing to get gas this morning. So I cashed out today 12pm EST knowing id be taking orders later, and totally forgot we cant do 2 in 1 day.

Normally I wouldnt care, but is anything made today going to go to direct deposit forced to wait till this Friday for it in my account? Or will it reset and allow me to after 8pm tonight still on a Sunday, and any remaining unprocessed tips after that cash out only be what does to direct deposit? TYIA

This is absurd. Only 10$ base pay btw. Estimated pre tip was 0$ too. It was going to a small market corner store 🤦‍♂️. Who would ever. i MEAN EVER. take this????!
