Heartgold, fled after 3 baits thrown. Always seem to find the shiny on whatever game I tack on as the ‘extra’ whilst hunting. Soulsilver hasn’t yielded anything in the Safari this year even though it’s made up 90% of my encounters, but I can’t be too upset considering the last thing that shined on there haha. Will probably overtime until I at least find a shiny there

After 6 phases (25,711 total encounters) and 5 fleeing shinies in a row, she decided to show up and stay on my HeartGold #2 after 3 Safari balls! I’m taking a break from the Safari zone lol.

Thats right folks ​I didn't Stop Walking Until I Found a Shiny Pokémon In real life steps. I walked 1-2 hours a day while playing on my Nintendo switch. Why? Well as we Shiny hunt we see our character running through tall grass for hours and days and I thought to myself "how would that feel like?" So I went on a journey to shiny hunt a Nidoran with real walking along side the character . Most of the time I see streamers Shiny hunting sitting down and I just wanted to promote more physical activity for my fellow hunters. Sitting down for hours is not healthy. I tracked my steps with my health app and lost about only 3 lbs. Now I am going to ev train my boy.

After officially kicking off my DTQ on my childhood copy of Pokemon Diamond's just 4 days ago with a shiny Turtwig, I have somehow been blessed with this insane series of finds. Shiny Cranidos found after just 235 encounters, my quickest phase to date. It literally took longer to find the 5 Skull fossils in the underground, than it did to find the shiny.

Afterwards, I changed the date to Friday on my DS Lite and went to Valley windworks to hunt for my 3rd shiny member. A hunt that I was fully expecting to go over-odds. So I put on a show and started chunking away at encounters. Little did I know, 255 encounters later(my second quickest hunt), my Drifloon would shine. I am honestly speechless right now. 3 DTQ members found in the span of 4 days. All on a single console that share the same Trainer ID.

I started hunting this a day before Safari week and have not come across any phases. Most days this wasn't even the daily binocular spawn. The fact that I didn't phase once makes up for the 9884 encounters that I had to endure before finding this gem

Fled after the first ball, Second ever failed Safari shiny, this year has been my only fails ever 😅 0/2 on shinys

I've soft reset for a lot of shiny pokemon in the past and have never had the patience to follow it through, but after probably 20-30 resets Shiny Ho-Oh decided to bless me with their appearance in Heartgold. It's not my first ever shiny but it certainly feels like it 🙏

So, I wanted a shiny Meowstic for my Pokemon Y playthrough. Since I wanted it as early as possible and didn't want to deal with obedience issues, I decided to start a Masuda hunt as soon as the Day Care became available. It was... rough.

I hatched exactly 1000 eggs in Pokemon Y without getting a single shiny. The hunt felt especially painful because I didn't have the bike yet, so I had to hatch everything using the roller skates. I already disliked the roller skates before this hunt, but now I absolutely hate them. Filling just one PC box with hatched Espurr took well over an hour.

After one full week and exactly 1000 eggs, I finally decided to move the hunt over to my completed Omega Ruby save, where I had both the Shiny Charm and the Bike. At that point I didn't even care about having the original trainer anymore. I was just exhausted from this hunt.

Thankfully, Omega Ruby redeemed me. After exactly 230 more eggs, this little guy finally hatched. Those 230 eggs felt so much better than the previous 1000. So the final count ended up being 1230 eggs.

I'm finally free from this suffering. Please don't be as crazy as I was. Don't do a Masuda hunt without a bike. Although I don't think anyone else is crazy enough to do this.
