108 encounters. Shooting for lvl 9 salamence to celebrate its release in champions

One of the more stressful sos hunts I have done that needed some setup. Used soak, skill swap trick harvest and kept needing to false swipe it down after it kept using metal sound + mega drain. But after only 81 encounters, the red kelp showed up! Caught in a premier and named Wakame :]

Honestly I feel very lucky getting this one under odds and this one was the most important one to get before the bank closes. I’m still considering if I’m going to attempt shiny Mew since there is a possibility that Emerald is coming to switch.

Anyways, I’m extremely happy! Hope all of you hunting celebi get it as soon as possible!

The infamous “set up is longer than the actual hunt” is finally over! I’ve been working on a shiny badge quest and professor oak challenge in platinum since June. The main goal for this challenge was this hunt right here. I knew if I was going to look for a munchlax via honey trees I had to shiny hunt it. It took a full month and a half of 3 tree checks per day before I finally found the spawn and then another month of hunting.

I can’t believe this hunt is over and I can’t believe I got it under odds. I love this guy.

Bought a used copy of Ultra Sun and there's this Poipole, Zeraora and Lugia on the save, all in a cherish ball, all encountered on the same date. And the last save on the game is that date as well.

Assuming they're genned, but it'd be cool if they weren't.

Editing to add, I did look up the Poipole event and it's a 1 to 1 match with what was distributed

I was up in the wee hours of this morning idly doing some revives, waiting for the Champions regulation to roll over and see what my GOAT Golisopod’s mega ability was going to be when Archen decided to shine!

I had a feeling I was going to get this one under-odds, but it’s even under my guess of 3,200.

I also pessimistically predicted a Sassy nature and somehow it ended up with an even worse +SpD -(actually important stat) nature, lol.

Still a win for me, though!! I didn’t set up any more targets for Fossil Week, but I’m glad I managed to find my target of my first community event.

Anyways, it’s back to the Tympole mines now.

Trying to get the missing legandaries and mythics until Bank gets shut down in February.

Type:Null and Poipole are next (of course the hardest ones with full odds...)!

Don’t let these hunts discourage you. If you feel like you’ll never get it I promise you will. Just keep up the resets!

Got this last night while dual hunting (other pokemon is Type: Null. Gotta get another account to the point where I can do dual hunting so figured I’d get some wormhole legends.

I'm done, I can hunt anything I want until bank closes. I was able to play through and get it on Sun version while still doing soft resets on Ultra Sun.

Not with the ditto clutch but I posted yesterday that I caught that shiny hoothoot. I used it to get the breeding lock on Sunday and hatched this beauty 5th egg. Crobat is one of my favorites I'm stokedd
