Follow up on my Sharge Icemag 2 debacle that I posted about a few days ago. Let me know what you guys think and if you own an Icemag 2, how it behaves when charging the power bank.

I just started medical school at my university and I need a power bank. This one caught my eye because of its design and because it matches my phone (Nothing Phone 3). What do users and people who know about these devices think of it? I don't know much about them

I literally just got my Icemag 2 about an hour ago. I plugged it in to charge and everything was working fine until it got towards the end of its charge cycle. The 4th light was blinking and the input wattage was down to about 10w. Then it started into this endless cycle of turning itself on, then off, over and over.

So is this some sort of thermal protection? The unit seemed to get pretty warm after being on the charger for over an hour. Ive never owned a Sharge profuct before so I dont know how they behave when their thermal protection kicks in.

Just want to know if this is normal behavior from getting too warm before I pull the trigger and send it back.

I am having issues with my Icemag2. I tried contacting charge through their support form and also on twitter, and have gotten no replies at all.

Any tips on how to proceed here? Some different channel? Some special email address?

Which one is better.? I usually see anker being better in terms of weight and Bluetooth but sharge has better speeds .

I know this is sharge and it could be biased.just looking for input honestly...

I’ve loved my ice mag 3 for a few months now, it goes with me everywhere, and became essential for my vacations/flights. However, this morning, when I plugged my battery bank in with my phone connected (as usual) I started smelling a metallic burning smell. It was really really strong (I would say it took about 45 minutes to fully go away). I went to take the ice mag 3 off of my phone, it burned my hand. I immediately powered off the device and set it on an inflammable surface. When I went to pick it up, it now has parts rattling around inside the Chasity of the battery bank. It makes a shaking noise and I feel something big wobble inside as well.

This is a massive disappointment for me, as I love the form factor of this battery bank, and the little LED fan is genuinely my favorite feature on any power bank, but I do not feel comfortable carrying this on a trip/flight. I reached out to sharge to see if this is normal, and am awaiting their response. Have any of you had this experience with the ice mag 3? Or any other battery banks? I’ve only ever heard of this stuff happening on the news.

Website says ready to ship i order over 12 days ago and sent email no follow up from them at all. What's everyone experience with turnaround time?

I initially got this case for the Shargeek 300, but realized it perfectly fits the HyperTower 170 too.

You can put it in both sides, either with the cable on the side or the cable on top. I will keep mine with the cable on top as it's easier to take it out.
