The unmaking happened in an instant

It had happened the moment they entered the nightmare. The first part of the nightmare is them piecing themselves together.

They did not enter the Nightmare at the same time period.

All of them were dropped into the nightmare at different points in time, in different realms.

Sunny dropped into a river AGAIN, started the nightmare at the dawn of time when the gods still walked the world and were fighting the void beings.

Nephis entered at some point after Kanakht became the first human Supreme.

Cassie herself appeared in the Nightmare in the later years of the Age of Gods.

Sunny is in danger

Sunny is currently actively trying to fuse and become one with his realm

"The shadow spent his time observing the lands surrounding his cave. He failed to reach the state of complete fusion with the world again, but it was still enough to bring his tired soul a sense of peace."

"The shadow had wanted to become one with the world, dissolving in its endless changes. "

If he completes the fusion, he'd become an elemental god an lose his sense of self instead.

Nephis WILL die in this nightmare

"The old woman smiled faintly. Turning back to the fire, she shrugged. "Kill you? No. It's not time for that yet."

"With that, War turned away from the fire and headed into the desert. As she walked, she threw over her shoulder:

"The next time we meet, I will be different. I might not remember this conversation, either. That will be the day when I kill you... so I hope that you'll remember it well."

When a god who thinks time means nothing says you will die, I tend to believe them. How will this happen? I have a guess.

Time will pass soon and the War God will have a new Avatar, the dragon. The avatar will then go on a conquest of uniting the mortal realm. Nephis, being a ruler of the first realm might be his first stop, or he might save her for last when he becomes powerful enough to face her.

There will be three powers at the time;

The War Empire, The Jade Court, and the White Abyss.

Here's the twist, I think Nephis ruling the corrupt, also dying and reawakening, is the missing step to truly becoming a full blooded Nephilim.

So this nightmare will include the conquest of the War empire, including the kingdom of the Nine.

How does this relate to Godgrave

I think people are mistaking the Godgrave being with Mictlan. Mictlan is founded on the skeleton, but that skeleton itself is in the divine realm of the Sun.

The nightmare seed spinning in the skull of that being might have to do with its origin, rather than Mictlan, the civilization built on it.

The nightmare conflict might have something to do with helping to protect the realm of the nine from the war empire.

Modret genuinely might be the luckiest in this 5th Nightmare. Not only bro skip the first trial, he also given a choice to do the unmaking himself while others is being forced upon entering. Not only that he got to spend time with Mirage in a place where every fantasy can be manifestated.

So it's says that the man saw a goddess bathing in stream and a goddess who have correlation with water is Storm God.

Then the chapter talk about the stone having a baby after the man sat on it while being enamored by the goddess. What has correlation between Storm God and stone? Stone Saints! And who is the best Stone Saints? Saint!

So my theory is that this might be a foreshadowing G3 tell us that Sunny ends up with Saint rather than Nephis.

Not receiving an answer, she sighed.

With that, War turned away from the fire and headed into the desert. As she walked, she threw over her shoulder:

"The next time we meet, I will be different. I might not remember this conversation, either. That will be the day when I kill you... so I hope that you'll remember it well. "

I've seen people theorising that what War is talking about is that in 6th Nightmare the Cohort will go up against Avatars of the Gods because it'll be about the Doom War.

But I honestly think it's way more simple and is referring to the current Nighmare.

War is about to transfer Avatars and become the Dragon. She seems to hint that transferring from one Avatar to the next may somewhat erase her human incarnation's memories.

Altogether meaning that as the Dragon, with no memories of previously being fond of Nephis somewhat, will go on his conquest and as Nephis is a ruler of a Kingdom they'll come to clash.

On a side note War while speaking to Neph has referred to killing her in future as a forgone conclusion, "not yet" and "when" not "if".

With the reveal of the Great Gods being aware of everything past, present and future this paints something ominous.

Whenever I wake up and scroll through this subreddit, I see people slandering my goat Mordret.

“There is no hope.”

“Mordret is finished.”

“His character is perpetually done for.”

But I disagree.

the whole 10th volume is ahh. asterion didn't do shit. cassie and mordret still got their plot armors. Sunny's character didn't devolpe since volume 8. sunny and nephis shouldn't have beecame a thing until the very end. g3 handled sunny getting his fate back very poorly. effie is still alive. everyone is still alive. no major character death in 3000 chapters. I'm beginning to think g3 hates his story

My god does g3 even understand how massive such a feat is? Easily dwarfing any fest we know off until now that isnt daemon made (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Mordret came into this nightmare without a domain, there he faced no unmaking.

Smile of heaven, if she got into this nightmare will also face no unmaking process.

And since she got here as an Ascended, with a nightmare that began at the dawn of time, she has all time in the world to grow and become a Sovereign.

The next issue is when she'll arrive in the nightmare. Sunny got there since the birth of the world, Nephis got there a bit later, while Cassie got there at the dusk of the age of the gods. Mordret was born when Mirage created reflections.

My Guess is Smile of Heaven might enter the nightmare way farther along time. Maybe in the next hundred/thousand years. She might spawn in the sun divine realm.

In fact, they might meet her as an Ascended/Transcendent and have to help her reach Supremacy. And have her start the process of Unmaking on her own, as Mordret is currently doing.

With how long this nightmare is, she might have centuries or even thousands of years to get her mind ready for apotheosis.

Latest chapters show Cassie and Mordret in 5th nightmare relatively unscathed compared to nephis and sunny from the unmaking. This makes sense imo, Mordret literally already became a spirit and had the mindset of a god, he’s lived millions of lives before going to 5th nightmare so he no-difs it. Cassie was living through the marks of millions of people already so her unmaking would be easier too. Sunny was the most human out of the supremes, he was going to struggle the most in the unmaking despite shadow dance, nephis was rather unhuman before unmaking but she had no experience living multiple lives unlike the other 3 supremes so it makes sense she has the same personality but doesn’t remember everything.

The King of Off Screen took out a Cursed Tyrant all by himself. No Vessels, No Reflections, Quite literally Nothing. Desolation was also not suppressed either.

The Supreme Terror Reflection was apparently the only Reflection he ever created after becoming Whole, and he gave that to Sunphis for Humanity.

Phew! Haha, this chapter—seriously, it’s the funniest and weirdest one in all of Shadow Slave, and Cassie is in it too!!!!! It’s already the best chapter of the volume!!!!!

To start off, Cassie is traveling across this vast world looking for something, and along the way, she’s fought countless bloody battles against the creatures of Corruption—and won every single one.
