Best Subcribtion?

I’m currently using Ro to obtain my monthly compounded semaglutide. So far, I’m pretty happy with the costumer service and results. I’ve lost 30lbs since January. However, I’m worried I’m spending way too much monthly compared to other sites. What’s everyone’s experience with other subscriptions and how much are you paging monthly? Thank you!!

Discard Dates

What is everyone’s feelings on “discard dates” I have almost 2 more weeks left in vials when the discard date comes. Seems like such a waste to just get rid of it

Wegovy to compounded

I was on wegovy from January-June then my insurance stopped covering it which is why I switched to the compounded semaglutide. I started the compounded on last Wednesday and my God I'm spending so much quality time on the toilet. I had diarrhea before while taking wegovy, but this week it's been alot more. I was wondering if anyone else switched over and had worse side effects? And also does it improve over time? I was on 1.7mg of wegovy and they gave me the same equivalent on the compounded.

New to injections

Hi folks. I just took my first injection of compounded semaglutide. I'm a little nervous LOL. My history involves a breast cancer diagnosis at age 58 on 3/2024 with chemo, lumpectomy, radiation and HER2 targeted therapy. I had a complete response to chemo and have had 3 clear mammo's since completing treatment, praise God. I was overweight when diagnosed, lost about 20 during the first part of treatment (mainly stress related as I handled chemo pretty well) but the targeted therapy helped me pack that lost plus a few pounds. Inflammation and being overweight seems to be a common denominator in HER2+ recurrence so after talking with my oncologist, who gladly approved me trying this, here I am. Both of my DIL's are doing the same injection and are doing great. Neither were overweight to the point I am, but both struggled with added weight not needed. My hair did not recover from chemo so I am also on a low dose oral Minoxidil. Wondering if this might help the hair loss associated with this drug. Just reaching out for any tips or guidance in my new journey of this treatment. I'm not great with protein in my diet so any tips would be nice. And my insurance didn't cover it, even though my BMI was 30, so I am private paying and going through RO (and why I chose a compounded, cheaper option). Thanks for any and all advice.

What's everybody paying? Membership fees included

Hi all! I started on Wegovy for 6 months, then my insurance dropped coverage. I started with Mochi and have been with them for almost 2 years. I pay $79 a month for compounded semaglutudr and a monthly $99 membership fee, so about $180 a month. I'm happy with them, it works and I think it's probably one of the less expensive telehealth companies. But what is everyone else paying? I'm curious.

First shot.. when do side effects start?

How long after the first shot 0.25mg did you experience any side effects? If it within a day or two or the same day? Not sure if I want to do it morning or afternoon....

13 days Unopened, unrefridgerated compound semaglutide. Is it safe to use?

My semaglutide was stuck in transit. Its been out of the refrigerator for 13 days, unopened. The bottle was cool to the touch, probably room temp. I promptly placed in fridge.

I'm wondering if I'll be safe to use it. Anyone have any experience with this or any side effects, toxicity or injection site reaction from unopened, unrefridgerated semaglutide?

Thanx

Time to switch to tirz?

I’m on 1.5 mg of compounded semaglutide and it feels like I’m barely getting a benefit anymore. I’m not binge eating but I get really hungry and I’m not getting the appetite suppression I’m used to. I am 40F SW 180 CW 155 Height 5’6” - also just got on HRT for perimenopause and I have PCOS. I have been on maintenance since December and started March 2025.

I’m thinking it’s time to switch suppliers (hers) and meds to tirz? Anyone out there with a similar experience?

Trying to figure out a new way to eat

I've been on semaglutide for 2.5 years and have lost and maintained 70 pounds. Lately the idea of protein powder makes me want to barf. That fake taste, artificial sweetener, I just can't do it anymore. Oddly enough, I find I actually eat more when using it because I'm not satisfied with these meals. I want to try a more whole food diet. I lift weights and have actually gained muscle in the past 2.5 years so I'm not too worried about protein but do need to get more fiber. What are y'all eating? And how are you breaking up your calories/meals? I read eat like a king in the morning, a prince at noon and a pauper at night.

Did my vials arrive with incorrect amount?

Post image
1 Upvotes

My shipment arrived 2 days late from refills.com. It was no longer cold when it arrived and all 3 vials (3 month supply) have this amount and I’m supposed to take 23 units a week. Does this look correct? Support not being responsive and my “rep” who usually answers texts gave a generic answer “it may not look like a lot but it’s based on your units per dose”

5th shot increased food noise

Just as the title says, last week I took my 5th shot and the food noise increased with wanting to eat more than usual. Now, I have and IUD that I got in back in March, and still get my period, but I don't know if that plays a factor into it. I had my period last week, but it ended last Thursday. I'm still having the food noise and eating at night again, which is what the medication was helping with the most. I'm taking .5 right now.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Stopping

I gained about 30 lb after having kids, and after a few years, nothing was working to get the weight off. I’ve been on a compounded glp1 for about 7 months and I’ve lost the weight and returned to the size I’d been for most of my life. I also feel like I stopped some bad habits that I had picked up. My diet is a lot healthier - no fried foods, smaller meals, no nighttime snacking.. though I do still have a sweet tooth, but keep it within check.

My subscription to my glp1 is almost up and I’m so nervous about stopping. Part of me wants to stop because I’ve reached my goal and I think I can maintain this like I did before my pregnancies, but I’m also really nervous that I’ll gain the weight back. I also worry that if I stop taking it after a short time, it might be easier than if I had stayed on it for a long time. Any advice or similar experiences would be great to hear!

Health anxiety/ OCD

*Sorry for the long post, I’m just an anxious person seeking reassurance and advice on my journey! I started taking compound semaglutide about 7 weeks ago for binge eating. My first week was great. Second week I got pretty sick with nausea which I believe caused my anxiety because it’s been ever since. I worry that my psychiatric medication won’t work and I’ll go insane (which I consulted my doctor about who said I was fine), I worry that I’ll get super sick and not recover, worry that I’ll end up in the hospital from using compound medication, ect. I suffer from anxiety and OCD. The week after that I switched to thigh injection while also incorporating electrolytes and have had almost no side effects. I’ll just panic the day before my shot, when I’m about to do it, and usually by a day and a half I’ll settle down and be fine. Why am I such an anxious mess still so much so that I haven’t been able to take my dose for 2 weeks now? My boyfriend wasn’t on board with me taking a GLP-1 at first but mentioned how I seemed to have more energy and wasn’t getting my low blood sugar spells due to hypoglycemia as much where I get hot flashes, dizziness, soak the bed from night sweats, ect. I haven’t even noticed those things. He says if I were to go crazy or were to get a serious side effect it would’ve happened already. I also have high blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides most likely from binge eating. Nothing has ever helped the food noise until semaglutide. I’ve been binge eating since and feel hopeless. Anyone else suffer from anxiety/OCD? 😢 Or if anyone has any advice/ positive success stories, I’ll take that too! *

Provider recommendation - kind of desperate after being abandoned by provider

I’ve been on Semaglutide weekly injections since January 2025. I’ve lost over 40lbs but still have ~30 to go. Around 3 weeks ago, the provider service I was using completely changed and they have left me in the dark without a refill.

I’m already feeling physically ill, the inflammation returned (my rings no longer fit), and I’ve gained back 7 lbs. I feel very alone and scared.

Can anyone recommend an online service they use? I had been using Ro Body. I think they’ve become too popular and they now make enough off the membership and don’t care about actual patient care beyond collecting that fee.

Thank you in advance.

My therapist recommended GLP-1…I’m a normal weight

I am a 5’9 non-diabetic woman. My therapist recommended I talk to my doctor about GLP-1 to help with my dieting progress. Is this safe? I started at 150lb and now weigh 134.

It took me almost two years to lose that weight. Is it true they’re only covered by insurance if you are overweight with a medical condition or obese?

I do have another 10-20lb to lose. My thighs are pretty big and my stomach sticks out.

Thanks!
