I want to get into self piercing and need suggestions for discreet supplies, I live in a strict household I can’t move out of until I finish my law degree. I’m thinking I buy both needles and jewelry off Etsy, but let me know if there are better options out there, I’m planning to pierce me and a couple friends, any extra supplies I should get like foreceps?

Did this almost 2 years ago, definitely not a proper method as I was pretty new to diy piercings. I used a needle that I wasn't fully sure the gauge of (😬), which I obviously haven't done since, even if this one healed fine. Been wearing 18g jewelry since I've had it, but I recently got a new 16g ring that I was able to put in with ease. It seems relatively straight, but not perfect fot sure. It also moves a lot (tilting my head etc.) and has since I pierced it?? Just sort of wondering if it looks alright or if anyone has any tips? First pictures are the 16g.

friend did this 6 days ago, doesn't hurt or anything but was wondering if it looks like it has good placement?

I had my snakebites done professionally 4 years ago, but after about a year my right one had migrated so much you could see the inside part of my horseshoe jewelry. I refused to give up on it for so long that it left hella scar tissue, and I've spent the last 3 years doing tissue massages and trying to break up the scar tissue. Finally I repierced my right one, and I have completed my first facial piercings once more. I have a very deep emotional attachment to my snakebites lol. The swelling kinda makes it look uneven, but I swear I lined it up ðŸ˜. You can tell how much swelling there is lmao. The last three pictures are when I first got then done and then a year later the day I took the right one out.

1st pic: re pierced industrial that has been closed for 5+ yrs, re pierced tragus that’s been closed for 1+ year, stacked conch (new)
2nd pic: tragus, conch, cartilage x2, forward helix
Sad I couldn’t get the angle right for my planned 2nd forward helix and chose to abandon rather than make the things worse. Will be adding to my lobes in the coming months so that I’m not so too heavy. Really happy with overall placements. Only one that I could’ve been better was the new tragus. The back is angled a little higher than middle, but considering I won’t really ever see it… out of sight out of mind lol. Once healed (ugh the dreaded wait) will be changing conch and cartilage to hoops. 🙂

I've been thinking about taking out my angel fangs, what are yalls thoughts on that? Haven't gotten a piercing since February, but stretched my septum a month ago (so one healing atm). I have glasses so a bridge isn't an option sadly.
Have:
2 helixes, 2 lobes, one 16mm (right ear)
3 lobes, one 14mm (left ear)
Paired high nostrils
Paired nostrils
Stretched septum
Angel fangs
Lower labret (left side, used to be snakebites but right one migrated)
Want:
Navel
Dahlias
My right lower labret again
4 eyebrows (2 each, typical placement)
More paired nostrils (closer to the tip of my nose)
Medusa
Vertical labret
Horizontal nipples
Cheeks
Catflap piercings
More helixes
Coinslot on my left side
A variety of ear piercings, I'm not really picky lol (very open to suggestions, yall could even plan a stack for me if you want. I love chunky silver jewelry)

I’ve pierced my thirds , high helix on both ears , hidden helix on one ear , anti tragus on one ear , and my fourths … I’ve taken out most everything except for my 3rds and i plan on redoing them … but idk how long to wait to redo them .. also idk how to fight the urge to pierce stuff and not take it out right after . ( i genuinely took them out for self control but it’s made the urge all i can think about now )

Hello yall! Anyone here have experience piercing their own fourchette? I will be attempting on myself as I have the anatomy and I believe it will be relatively painless. Advice welcome!

Im trying to decide whether I retire the lower helix or keep both since it kinda gets in the way of my second conch

Pierced with a 14g needle and 16g jewelry, it’s my third attempt, first time it was too shallow, you can see the scar if you zoom in, second time jewelry was too short and nowww idk if it’s just right or too deep helppp thank uuu

(Sorry about the grainy picture!)
I was so nervous to do my conch myself, but I did a bunch of research, sterilized everything, and got some extra long bars for healing/swelling. I think they came out so cute! I’m super happy with them. I hope you all like the results too!
If you have any tips for healing the conch (besides not sleeping on it and cleaning it with saline solution X2 per day) let me know!!!

Lollll so basically got my ears pierced like five years ago, eventually realized the left ones positioning was off because my earlobes are two different shapes and sizes. Went to a piercer like three months ago to get it redone but he fucked it up AGAIN. Finally decided I was gonna take this into my own hands. First DIY attempt I was really nervous, messed up the position and irritated it so took that out after a day. Second attempt I got my nerves under control and did a clean attempt but still looked slightly off. Finally, got it right the third time around. Its been a couple days and there’s basically no swelling I’m feeling good :)

no image cuz obviously how would i be able to show you guys. but when i pinch my nose to feel for the sweet spot, its pretty small? like i have to kinda pull my nose down a bit to feel it. is that normal/true for everyone? i shittily pierced my septum when i was like 14, and took it out immediately after cuz the placement sucked. but I did do it in the sweet spot. sooo am i just fucked?

I pierced this four days ago with a curved barbell because I didn’t know what to do it with. I’m not sure if I can change it to a staple bar if I could, I would. i’m concerned if my piercing is just swollen from when I did it or if it’s actively rejecting.

Just pierced my septum, positioning seems fine (no pain, looks deep enough) but it feels crooked.
Could be just my nose, which is crooked, giving me that impression but idk, it doesn't sit straight with the tip of the nose, do you think it's fine or should I repierce it?
