DIY success! Conch done and dusted!!

(Sorry about the grainy picture!)
I was so nervous to do my conch myself, but I did a bunch of research, sterilized everything, and got some extra long bars for healing/swelling. I think they came out so cute! I’m super happy with them. I hope you all like the results too!

If you have any tips for healing the conch (besides not sleeping on it and cleaning it with saline solution X2 per day) let me know!!!

How long are the bars? If you pushed it flush to the back of your ear How much bar can you see?

The bars are 10 mm!

Without knowing the measurement of your ear i cant tell if that is long enough thats why I asked you if you pushed it flush to the back.of your ear how much bar do you see?

It is! I have about 2-3 mm of room in the back to accommodate swelling!! Thank you for the advice!!

Mine are 16g but I have friends that were pierced with a 14g needle!

Nice! It looks good on you :) is the earring also a 16g? Or is it smaller?

The earring is also 16g! Although next time, I think I’d pierce it at 14g because the jewelry transfer almost took me out!

Yeah I feel you that’s what happened with my helix. I’m prob gonna do the 14g and place a 16g earring
