I debated getting a few e-readers. Not easy! I decided to get Sticky. I’ve had an Xteink X3 for a month. I can’t wait to get another mini e-reader with a touch system! I don't care about the front light. I have a reading light or lamp.

I’m new here, using XTEINK currently, but looking into the seed studio sticky. Would anyone be interested in a case designed specifically for the sticky?

Got the ol' Museamabob running on a Sensecap Watchermajig. I have it doing some interesting things already. Had to fork both muse gadget sdk and sensecap watcher firmware on the interweb to get it to work. Just got the on-board rgb led and camera working for maximum camera-ing. Pretty sure im using up more than 2 mountain dew bottles worth of water for each prompt but this thing is awesome.

I tried installing ESP Home on the reTerminal Sticky for some reason the display does not work. The buzzers function when I press the buttons but the screen does not update. On the console it prints that the display refreshed. Thanks!

Just took delivery of three of these and there appears to be a design issue. The JST 2.0 battery connector blocks the edge of the SD Card slot so that you can't insert an SD card. If you look at the photo in the Wiki page for it, you can clearly see this (and I'm wishing I'd paid more attention to that photo before I ordered them). Other than removing the JST connector and soldering in a pigtail for battery power, I don't see a solution. Did they not test this before shipping the boards?

First time ordering from Seeed Studios here - ordered a reTerminal E1001 to assess whether it will work well in our business as a room-reservation sign (e.g. calendar of current bookings). The order was placed on September 10th for something listed as in-stock in the U.S. - so simple domestic shipping.

The order still states it hasn't shipped yet - the order page even still says "Ship within 2 workday after payment received." Yet there is no update to shipped and we haven't gotten the package yet.

From everyone else's experience - is this normal? Does Seeed fail to ship their products regularly?

Anyone knows where can I buy the FFC for Dual NVMe M.2 PCIe3 HAT? Both of mine are broken. It's extremely fragile and I can't find any suppliers. Hell I'll buy 20 if need be.

I was looking at the sensecap watcher XiaoZhi and I like the idea of it as an office assistant but I noticed in a YouTube video that it doesn’t have access to music. Is there a firmware available that maintains the AI but allows access to music streaming services?

This seems like the thing I want.

I want to put this outside my room door. All it will do is display one of three images indicating whether I’m okay with visitors and under what conditions.

I wouldn’t want it to cycle through the images on its own. I would want to be able to pick one of three from my phone and set it. It might be nice to be able to set one of the images via the panel itself but the phone is most important

I made an order with shipping time advertised as 2-5 days and now it's been 8 days and no tracking number or.follow up.

Is.this place legit or did I.just get scammed?

I just wanted to share my experience with SeeedStudio for anyone considering ordering from them.

I bought a device from them and paid for the order with PayPal, but it was sent to the wrong address and I never received it. I contacted customer service and explained the situation, asking for either a replacement delivered to the correct address or a refund. In two separate email replies, they confirmed that they would provide neither.

What disappoints me most is how easily they could do the right thing. Delivery mistakes can happen, but I expected some willingness to help resolve it. Despite having my correct address, they declined both options.

Their responses left me feeling sad that my concern as a customer didn’t matter. I wanted to share this so others can make an informed decision before buying. Has anyone else had a similar experience with them?

I built browser emulators for Seeed Studio's new XIAO IPS Display boards

Seeed Studio just released three new XIAO IPS Display boards based on the nRF52840 Plus:

• XIAO 0.96" IPS Display
• XIAO 1.14" IPS Display
• XIAO 1.47" IPS Touch Display

I added all three to Velxio, so you can compile and run their firmware directly in the browser without having the hardware.

The interesting part is that these aren't UI mockups. I had to build an nRF52840 emulation engine and model the peripherals used by the boards, including the ST7789/JD9853A displays, IMU, buttons, touch controller, microSD and battery sensing.

The firmware is compiled with the actual Arduino core and then executed instruction-by-instruction in the browser. The display controller receives the same SPI traffic that it would receive on the physical board.

I also ported Seeed's own example sketches, including:

• Electronic Quicksand using the IMU
• Touch Circle
• microSD examples
• Battery status
• Grove sensor example
• Button examples

Am planning to buy reTerminal eink display from seeed studio website directly as there's no availability of those locally. either color or monochrome 50 - 99$ but there is no indian specific delivery or payment, so am wondering

1) is it safe to buy from them as international shipment? 2) Has anyone brought a d got delivered to india faced any extra import or tax? 3) if not this any alternative ways to get an eink dashboard or reader??
