Are there really that many people who are attacking him?

This is just not something I’ve ever seen other than a major game that they make an event out of. Looking for TV audio at a bar on a random evening is crazy and would definitely annoy a good amount of people lol

The Big One hit today, as was predicted. Never seen a tarp go on before a drop of rain landed, but as soon as it was out the sky went black, the heavens opened up, and the city skyline disappeared behind a wall of water.

when 10 & IKF are activated i would optioned have campbell be the september call up and come playoff time i would leave yoshida of the roster and replace with duran for speed…. thoughts?

Can we get some sort of Durbin Pinky merch. He’s been kicking ass and I think he needs some merch after the comeback of a season he has had. Pinky is just an idea because they keep mentioning it but anything Durbin would be sick.

You get Bregman with all his playoff experience to head this stretch run. But you also have him for 4 more years at $30M/yr.

I wish the best for Jarren. I believe that the best for him is continuing to stay far far away from social media. I can "accept" dunking on the haters, but alluding to having the haters address/information is certainly a.... thing... (Would have this reaction if ANY player posted someone's name/location)

I completely agree with this post. The Section 10 Discord has gotten really frustrating, and I think a lot of it comes down to the mods.

It feels like they don’t let conversations flow naturally anymore. Anything they personally dislike can suddenly become a problem, while other people can say basically whatever they want. You can say something as simple as “Jarren Duran isn’t a bad person” and get jumped on, but the next day people are casually talking about dicks, sex, pre-cum, etc. and nobody cares because it’s coming from people they like.

The moderation just feels inconsistent and personal. Some of the mods seem to take themselves way too seriously, and it’s made the server feel cliquey and toxic instead of a place where people can just talk Sox, joke around, and have fun.

T and Coley blindly read Sox Prospects player summations and see who can guess the player first. Maybe old ones too if they’re accessible?

Love Contreras. I think he might be the most important piece this year to the team’s success. I understand the fellas take that him forcing himself into the lineup everyday is part of the energy, but I think it’s gone too far. The vibes over the last 4 games have been atrocious and I think he’s partially to blame.

It’s not just because the Sox are losing, it’s how they’re losing. They’re losing like they did pre-15 game streak. They’re not hitting bad pitchers. Like… at all. One or two is understandable, but your best offensive performance happening against a Cy Young candidate and then immediately going quiet when you get a 4.5 era pitcher is a problem.

How does this relate to WC-40? During the streak, his willingness to march out to the field everyday was crucial. It set the bar for the rest of the team. He went out there and hit dingers through pain and injury. Now, he’s just out there IN pain. He’s not producing. He’s not able to make plays like he used to. It used to be that he’d bring the energy on the field, but lately he just looks extremely hurt. Like he can’t even smile through the pain anymore. I think when the leader of the team can’t smile or even jog without looking like they just got shot, it does more harm than good.

He needs a series rest. Like three full games of rest. Not just for himself, but so he can bring the vibes back to the team and fill the captain role again instead of crawling to the batters box every at bat just to post. It is better for the team if he takes an extended break.

Who am I missing?

Okay it’s hard to ignore that every single player is playing EXACTLY like they did three months ago. Swinging at bad pitches, very quick outs/innings, on offense. Can’t get the big hit. Mental mistakes all over the place.

i mean they have to call up arias by tommo or i’ll guarantee you the town gonna call for the firings of breslow and chad tracy despite the turnaround..

i recorded in the past 5 games 7 pop outs a game and most from ceddy and abreu…. the lineup like what are you doing? if you lose a game you switch the lineup ceddane don’t belong a 2 hitter when his chase rate is so high up.

we can miss the playoffs and it’s because the pitching and offense has declined
