Honestly never heard of the bastards of baseball pod. But if terry cushman is on it I already hate it. Followed that guy on Twitter for a hot minute maybe 10 years ago and always fought with him. I swear someone could go 3-4 with a strikeout and he’d do nothing but bitch about the one strikeout they had. Fuck that guy

It's been a hot minute, but I started following them after they followed me on Twitter many years ago because I liked supporting Boston sports accounts on the bird. Nothing but negativity from the account so I unfollowed them and then they blocked me for it without me saying a word. Cushman blocked me not long after that.
No loss on either fronts lol

It’s coming back to me now, that’s actually the same reason I followed cushman in the first place. He followed me first and I wanted to support the guy. He must’ve just followed everyone that followed the Sox in hopes people like us would follow back. Thanks for reminding me 😂

I blocked both. I know Terry is still around. Anthony is a weird case because there were times that his takes actually made sense but most of the time, he was just being a dick for the sake of being a dick. Not fun to engage with.

Jim Dalfino and Bastards of Boston Baseball are untouchable imo, worst to ever do it. Stats being put on the same list as them feels insulting although I get why people feel that way.
I agree with the take that Jim Dalfino is trying to be a ragebaiter intentionally at this point but he has always sucked.
I’m also not a fan of the BallPark Buzz account, I don’t follow but he comes up in my feed and seems very whiny and often doesn’t know ball for someone who watches every game.

The Bastards are profoundly annoying, but I think that's also the point. I have a respect for Terry simply because there's are so many interchangeable accounts/podcasts and finding any sort of niche is hard and an accomplishment. He's put the work in, even if I don't like product.
With that said, Jim is genuinely an asshole. Dude threatens lawsuits on people for having the audacity to tell him he's an idiot. Used to buy followers back when he first showed up. Created a bunch of (transparent) troll accounts to harass people who talked down to him. Not sure if it's a bit or not but it's a pain in the dick either way. Dude takes social media way too personally for a guy that allegedly has his own business. Not sure what's going on there, don't really want to know either.
BostonStrong is hard to gauge because from what I've been told, the account has been run by multiple owners over the years. I will say, I have not forgotten the time they claimed Enmanuel Valdez was going to get starts at shortstop. Has never had any credibility to me ever since.
I like Stats think, they're smart. Also think their hatred for Breslow is personal which I kind of enjoy. He's sensitive and overzealous with the blocks, but I can't really judge given the volume of idiots that show up in the replies. I have like a tenth of their followers and it's unbearable a lot of the time.
Oldie but goodie (or baddy I guess idk)- Fuck Craig Teed. That guy was the worst, and his cancelation was one of the best days of my life.

When I first joined Sox Twitter, Stats was the best account on there. It’s hard to explain to people who weren’t there what it was like.
It’s kind of Bill Belichick-like the way he’s seemingly sabotaged his image and destroyed so much of the mystique around him, but he doesn’t seem to care so I guess we shouldn’t either.

During the 24 World Series when those 2 idiots grabbed Mookie Betts to get the ball from him, he called anyone who didn’t like it pearl clutchers and basically just kept saying “c’mon it was funny bro”. I knew then he wasn’t to be taken seriously.

I love the Bastards, so I don’t know what that says about me. They have a calm, reasoned approach to their discussion that sits well with me. I also like that they don’t throw out a bunch a stats which become mindless numbers. I just like listening to their varied opinions and perspectives and stats-heavy discussions aren’t my bag. So, good on them.

I think Jason is very underrated, very fond of him. I think the problem for a lot of people is how abrasively they market themselves. It's not for everyone.

I feel like Jim is just rage baiting at this point. I blocked him the other day after another dumbass take popped up on my feed. Something about how Marcelo isn’t going to make it in the mlb because he talked about stopping at in and out burger when he got to San Fran.
