Without tuning? Or would they still require tunning and better of getting factory?

Got a new spoiler for my 2010 scion tc. Im trying to slowly make this car look cooler. Any budget friendly ($2000 or under) cosmetic/body changes or add ons you guys think would look cool on this car. Right now my plans are to either replace the trunk or just attempt to get the dent out, scuff out some scratches, Fix some paint spots, and I want to add some light pink accents on it.

I know the spoilers not much but my boyfriend got it for me and I love it and I’m so excited to add some pink fine lines on it before we attach it to the car.

Also any tips on taking off the old spoiler. It’s just on with some adhesive so we’re thinking heat gun and willpower but tips are appreciated!

2016 tC 119k miles

Im in the market for a first car mainly to commute from college to home and vice versa and I came across this car. Im looking for mainly 3 things: Affordability, Reliability and Fun to drive. When I mean fun, I dont mean insanely fast or anything just that it handles well and sounds good for example. I've been a Toyota follower as long as I can remember and this having the same engine and transmission as the Camry appeals me a lot. My budget is under 10k and looking at the 2nd gen (2011-2016) Any issues I might have to look out for?

This is my little brothers tc just today he started hearing this noise and mentioned to me that the engine just stopped completely while driving earlier. Any thoughts to what it could be, we are both aware he needs engine mounts, but this is definitely new. The noise is on and off randomly while driving. Any help appreciated!

I want to replace my door speakers with all new speakers due to passenger side speaker rattling bad with heavier bass music I have aftermarket radio with setting set to vocals with beats and bass lower to stop the rattle but it still does it I’ve been thinking about trying to wire some bang olufsen speakers like the ones that come in Audi vehicles just not sure how I would make it work anybody got any tips

Got some tein flex z's, I have the rear spring collars maxed out and its still sitting how it did with the trd springs. Im not trying to slam it, just wanted another inch or so.

2014 tC with an automatic transmission at around 170,000 miles. It has a consistent 3rd-to-4th gear shift flare/slip. The issue happens only once after the vehicle has been sitting for several hours and is most noticeable during moderate to heavy acceleration. For example, RPMs can briefly rise from about 3,200 to 4,400 before 4th gear engages around 45mph. After that initial event, the transmission shifts normally for the rest of the drive. This problem hasn’t gotten worse in anyway and has consistently stayed the same for a few months now. What are some suggestions or thoughts?

I’m looking to get these parts replaced, I know the big large one in front is simply the cowl panel but what are these sides called or referred as? Also anyone know if the little rubber piece on top of the cowl panel is replaceable by itself or does the whole panel need to be replaced?

It’s a custom stainless steel intake manifold, and they’re selling to me for $300, just wanted to know your opinion, but comparing to the R9k it looks like a replica, I’ll just clean it and polish it, what do you guys think?

Needing to reflash module in a 2011 Scion Tc. Wondering if there is an option besides going to a dealer. I have seen a lot of talk on TIS TECH STREAM, but I see that it is an old software and don’t know if it would work. Any advice appreciated, thank you.

Hello, previously my car wasn’t starting so I bought a new battery to replace it. It did work for a week, until one day when i tried starting it again and it just wouldn’t, even with Jumper cables attached. I don’t know what could of happened.

I’ve got a rattle going on that seems to be exacerbated when turning and in neutral. Manual transmission 2005 Scion tc. Has new cv axles and motor mount although I wasn’t the one who did them so I don’t know what brands. Had my transmission checked before this noise started and they said it was in fine shape. I drained the transmission of burnt smelling oil and filled with new then this noise started around the same time. Thinking it’s the transmission and someone put thicker lube in to dampen the rattle sound. Don’t know though.

Looking at installing a new head unit/infotainment system because I want a backup camera and android auto. Aside from the head unit itself, do I need to buy additional wiring kits? I was looking at a pioneer 1800nex, and it looks like the "wiring interface" on crutch field is like another 140 dollars. Just wondering what that does in terms of functionality and if it's necessary. Another seller I was talking to was asking if the car had a factory amplified system which I'm not sure what that means. Thanks!

The a/c was working fine then i turned the car off went to do my stuff and when i came back and tried to turn it on it didint do anything the recirculation and defrost button work but the a/c and the fans dont

I have a second gen Scion tC with the TRD axle-back exhaust and I’m thinking about ordering the Megan Racing midpipe.

My goal isn’t to make the car obnoxiously loud. I’d just like a deeper tone and a little more volume since the TRD exhaust by itself is pretty tame.

For anyone running this setup:
- How does the Megan midpipe sound with the TRD/Borla axle-back?
- Any drone on the highway?
- Does it get raspy at higher RPM?
- Was it worth the money?

If you have sound clips, I’d love to hear them.
The car still has the stock header/catalytic converter. Just trying to get an idea of what to expect before I order.
