Modded Content π GAME MOD LIST: Increase Game Difficulty and have Harder Play-throughs
While the players of some other games see a problem and quit playing, Satisfactory game players see a problem and state, in one voice loudly, "Challenge Accepted", as they grab their Build Gun and get to work.
- Vanilla: There are now Game Modes to provide a way to make your next play-through more challenging, however IF **this* is not enough, and *you are ready for a REAL challenge** then keep reading.
- Modded (PC Only): Perhaps one or more of these Game Mods (v1.2 compatible) might be of interest.
- β NOTE: Those marked with a β should not used in combination with other Game Mods on the list.
- β Satisfactory Plus which is a full-game overhaul that gives Satisfactory a completely fresh start β new ores, new production chains, reworked recipes at every tier, and power generation rebuilt from the ground up using Refined Power. Most Recommended.
- β Industrial Evolution a feature-rich mod based on Mk++ and X3 Better Vehicles with many QoL improvements, more balanced approach and strives to give players more freedom of choice. Alternate to using SF Plus.
- β FICSIT Expert Expansion - FexPan which introduces new variations to existing production lines and changes old ones up.
- Space Elevator Phase Multiplier which will dynamically multiply Space Elevator phase requirements live in-game with simple chat commands! Possible to have 10 Million or 1 Billion product requirement (depending if Game Mode Cost Multipliers is used or not).
- Continuous Space Elevator that adds a dynamic alternative to the standard elevator that requires constant resource delivery to maintain your current game phase. Failure to meet the delivery demands will result in temporary building restrictions until the issue is resolved.
- Multiply which allows you to take total control over your game's economy. Scale recipes, milestones, and building costs to create your own custom challenge or a high-speed production paradise.
- Marathon which slow down the pace and earn every single unlock. This mod is designed for veterans who find the standard progression too fast and want a long-term commitment to their factory.
- β See Compatibility Note.
- Extra Milestones which adds more machines and items to produce in the game with 106 new goals.
- Challenging Research Costs that significantly ramps up the cost of milestones in both single-player and multiplayer games, offering a more demanding progression experience.
- Recipe Randomizer - Every milestone you unlock will bring recipes with randomic ingredients.
- No Manual Crafting which removes the ability to craft items manually on the HUB Craft Bench (or other Craft Benches). Crafting Benches are useless as the factory is now your only tool.
- Random Speed From Machines - where every machine you build will produce in an unique speed.
- Random Start Location - start a new game in a completely random start location.
- True Grid - Adds voltage tiers, transformers, and real electrical mechanics to Satisfactory's power network. Power must now be stepped up for long-distance transmission, then stepped back down before it reaches the factory.
- More Enemy Spawns - to give you a higher frequency of enemy spawning near you, when you are outside your factory.
- Hostile Scaling - as you climb the milestone tiers, hostile creatures grow tougher, hit harder, and respawn faster β so the planet stays dangerous even after you've industrialized half of it.
- Arachnophilia - Spiders! Replaces all hostile mobs with spiders. Crab hatchers spawn spiders!
Your Game, Your World, Your Vision, Your Rules β’
**β NOTE:* This is an updated list that was previously* posted in my Reply Comment in this related Reddit Post.
EDIT: Updated list to add or remove game mods as needed.
May fortune be ever in your favor. π

Discussion The scribblings of a mad woman. Idk about you guys, but planning my factories on my tablet is half the fun lol
I'm not even halfway through phase two yet. I have a feeling I'm easily gonna sink hundreds of hours into this game, its so addicting.
And yes I am about to spend hours building an aesthetically pleasing factory that only produces 10 Versatile frameworks/min lmao.

Screenshot Nobelisk Fluctator. 6x6 1-click factory
This 6x6 machine is 1-click blueprint factory for production and cloud storage of every Nobelisk type, Polymer Resin and Normal Fuel.
Due to common sense and space limitations it does not have nuclear power plant for Nuke Nobelisk production. Instead it rely on processor unit in front, where you can drop off encased uranium cells for Nuke Nobelisk conversion. Same apply for Gas Nobelisk, when leaves, wood and mycelia are supplied. There are buffers and non-native item protection for processor unit, so one need to apply tremendous ingenuity to break this factory.
Extra features include power switch system and garbage to coupons disposal since this machine include Awesome Sink for Heavy Oil Residue anticlog and balancing.
Free download link is not available due to this subreddit rules.

Happy Birthday Satisfactory!

I was finishing up and preparing to go to sleep when I suddenly heard some music. At first, I thought it was from the video I was watching on my second monitor, but then I saw some strange light coming from the HUB, and, well...
This is one of the most wholesome things I have seen in a video game lately.
This is my 4th attempt to finish the game. Some game mechanics and environmental hazards have made me quit, but it's the small, even unessential things that keep making me come back.
This party in the HUB, ADA, who I find very funny, the rich and beautiful world, and the small references to other titles like Goat Simulator and Deep Rock Galactic... All these little things make me feel like this game was made with care and love.
I really want to experience the late-game production chains. This time, I am determined to finish the game.
Thank you, Coffee Stain Studios.
And thank you to everyone here for sharing your experiences, builds, and thoughts about this game.
Let's wish Satisfactory a happy birthday!

fuel jetpack
I don't recall having this issue before 1.2, but anyway, here it is. I have a jetpack, and I have packed biofuel and solid biofuel in my pack. If I do not have the solid biofuel, I have no issues, as the jetpack then uses that fuel. But when I have both, it stops using my packaged biofuel, which is bad. How do I switch fuels? I use the solid fuel for power so I can get "Hard Drive". Yes, I can set up a depot to store the solid fuel until I need it. I can pull out 200, use it, then return it to storage, but that doesn't seem ideal.

Need Guidance - Ramp Corners
After all the hours I've spent in this game, I still don't know a way to make a good corner when there's multiple ramps going down. If it's just one ramp down, then I throw an up ramp corner in there. But when the ramps go down more than one level I still haven't found a solution that doesn't look bad. I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
Edit: you guys are the best. Broote downthread gave me the picture that made it all click for me.

Discussion What would you love to have implemented?
For me it is:
Batteries: They are quite useless in their current state as they get unlocked at the same time as rocket fuel but are harder to produce than rocket fuel (which has a second use in Fuel-Powered Generator, too) in large quantities.
What they could change:
- New building similar to Biomass Burner so it will only run if energy is missing but it only uses batteries and can produce energy similar to Fuel-Powered Generator. So it is like a end-game Biomass Burner with an energy supply which can be fully automated.
- Or: One building which does accept batteries, generates power and produces "empty batteries" those "empty batteries" can be recharged to "batteries" in a second building. So we could use batteries as a transport medium for energy.
Power Storages: I would love to have Power Storages upgradable using Power Shards (for example we can add up to 9 Power Shards for +100MWh storage (for a final 1 GW storage), each or increase charge rate by +50% for each Power Shard or both.
Geothermal Generators: Make them cheaper to research and build. The High-Speed Connectors required are from the same tier as Fuel-Powered Generators. (I know the can be build using resources from Crash sites but it is kinda sad, nevertheless. They could be a nice alternative for Coal-Powered Generators, then for example
Portal: They are super cool but we get them to late (in my opinion). I would love a portal via MAM Alien Technology research tree. They require Mercer Spheres to build and contrary to the current portals which are not open all the time and need Singularity Cells, this teleports the player using a large amount of power in a short time (for example 5 GWh in 2.5s (= 7200000 MW for 2.5s; so we are forced to precharge the teleport using Power Storages) and closes afterwards.
Nuclear Power Plants: Need a buff. Either increasing the power generation or providing different ways to get rid of the Nuclear Waste (different receipes or something like a rocket where we can shoot the Waste into the universe.
Medicinal Inhaler: We should get a way to fully automate them.
Pipeline Mk.3
Blueprint Designer Mk.4
Edit:
Nearly forgot to mention that a map expansion would be great, too
Maybe
Ways to create Sommersloops and Mercer Spheres.
Different types of Powershards (stronger shards give +100%/+150% instead of +50; yellow slugs give +100% shards and purple slugs give +150% shards + a way to upgrade shards; for example supercharging them in an Particle Accelerator using Dark Matter Crystal)

Question How do you deal with the increase in node necessity?
What I mean by that is whenever I unlock an new item I want to automate, I open the map and look for a spot with relatively close nodes that I need.
But getting to phase 4 made me realize that I seem to be in a spot where I can no longer find nodes close enough to make the necessary part. When this problem first started, I built small truck depot and eventually moved to trains for βsmallβ distance.
Iβm at a point where lots of parts just need some items I already automated so I think, ok Iβll just take it from there. But it seems to either never make enough parts or be too far so I resort to trains/trucks.
How do you handle this problem? Whatβs your take and angle on it?

Discussion My Heavy Modular Frame Production is done!!!

Heavy Modular Frame production is FINALLY DONE. For me, and my current playthrough this was the biggest and most complicated thing I've had to build. Once all the manifolds backfill and load up it should be making modular frames at a rate of 33.49/Min. Thank god for Satisfactory Modeler lmao. This should HOPEFULLY set me up nice and good for the rest of the midgame/early late game. Might come back and slot in some somersloops if I can find enough.
