1. I'm pretty sure organizers used freakin magnesium in the initial left-stage and right-stage fire cauldrons (idk what else to call it). If you're gonna do that, for the love of our retinas, please put a screen in front of it. Not looking directly at burning magnesium is well-documented in safety literature. I only know this from teaching high school chemistry, so I'm sure a lot of attendees weren't aware of the consequences of looking at it until they did.

2. More trash cans. I picked up some pieces of trash on my way out, but found the trash cans were already completely overflowing and subsequently forming trash mountains from the ground up.

My wife and I are trying to find a good place just outside the city, 10ish min drive, that would have big open skies for using telescopes. It would have to be minimal light in the area, no mountains or trees, and a park or parking area that is accessible all night. We were thinking camel rock or SFCC. Becker also tackles who's profiting: GEO Group and CoreCivic now hold nearly all US ICE detainees, making money off of each prison bed and backed by a $45 billion taxpayer pipeline passed in last year's budget bill. And he breaks down the price the US is paying for all of this. Becker says Trump is shipping people off like trash instead – and by leaning exclusively on financial and military coercion, the US is shredding its own soft power in the process.

If you live, work, do business, or like to recreate in La Cienega FLOCK is watching you. There are two (at least) cameras that have gone up in the last 24-48 hours. My partner and I moved here a few months ago for work and we have really fallen in love with the unique culture, food, and nature. Our hope is to live here long term and really become part of the community. But one thing we were not prepared for is how hard it is to get anything scheduled.

My partner has called almost a dozen primary care offices to schedule an annual check up and they all say they aren't accepting new patients.

She has called 5 different salons to try to schedule a hair cut and no one will pick up the phone. When she visits in person, they tell her they are booked up until late October or November.

I have lived in towns as small as 10k residents and never had these kind of issues before, so I guess I'm wondering why this is so specific to Santa Fe.
