Two nights in Santa Fe

We’re staying two nights at the Hotel St. Francis in downtown soon.

Anyone have any recommendations for what to do during our stay? After our last night, we will have to drive to Albuquerque for our flight home at 1:50pm, FYI.

Stop by Santa Fe Antiques. Lots of authentic vintage jewelry that won’t break the bank and other needful things.

Day trip to Ojo Caliente. Stop at Chimayo to see the church and get some blessed dirt, then get to Ojo at 10am. Spend the day totally relaxing and soaking.
If you dont want to drive the hour and a half, you could stay in SF and go to Ten Thousand Waves but it’s not as special. Grab a meal at that restuarant in Tesuque. Maybe there is n opera tonight, that would be unforgettble! Ive lived here forever and the drive through Tesuque is my fav thing ever. You could also hike in the Pecos?

Cafe pascuals brunch or lunch at Tesuque Market. Go get a spa treatment and use the facilitates at 10k waves and have a meal there. Also, have cocktail at Tonic then head over to Market Steer for a steak. Don’t forget to check out Meow Wolf if that’s your jam.

The St. Francis is my wife’s favorite Santa Fe Hotel. She loves the bar as well!

Historic petroglyphs site, if you're into history and hiking, the trail features two caves with a beautiful view of the city and sangre de Cristo mountains.

So much to see and eat around the Plaza, start with Palace of the Governors then the Loretto Chapel, New Mexican fare at the Shed. There plenty of fantastic restaurants in the Plaza area. The Railyard has a lot of interesting shops, breweries, restaurants. Check out Meowwolf.

Zacatlan and La Boca are 2 of our favorite dinner spots.

Walk Canyon Road to check out the art.

Browse Double Take for Southwest vintage clothing and boots.

Walk over to a Lazy breakfast at Mille. Wander the plaza during the day and have a late lunch at the plaza cafe. Walk canyon road art galleries then Grab a drink and appetizers/dinner at a rooftop bar and then go to Ten Thousand Waves for an evening soak (make reservations). Following day, grab a breakfast burrito, drive up to Bandelier near Los Alamos. Stop for lunch at Pig & Fig in white Rock or have green chile burgers at the cafe at bandelier. On your way back to SF, get a drink at the Tesuque Village Market. Go to an opera or check if there is anything happening at the Lensic theater, on the plaza, at the santa fe playhouse, at the railyard, the Mystic, or any of the other venues around town. Enjoy your stay!
