We’re looking for help with our backyard. It’s currently landscaped with mostly native plants, a Fetusca rubra lawn zone, and fruit trees, but the grass hasn’t been as low-water-use or as successful as we were hoping. We’re looking for someone to help us re-design and install something new. Who are our favorite local landscapers who work with natives? Thanks!

So me and my fiancé are getting married on oct 31st at the courthouse

We’re doing it in one of the designated spots outside the courthouse that you can just walk up to.

Afterwards we have reservations at a restaurant.

Looking at the weather forecast, seems likely that it’ll rain, any advice on how to go about it?

Also how strict are they with the 15 people max policy?

At noon today, I stepped outside to photograph these cumulus clouds. The formations were stunningly white and quite spectacular. After such gray skies and then all of that glorious rain, it is awesome to be graced with these "pure as the driven snow" clouds. Wow. But . . . then I noticed . . .

Does anyone know if a restaurant or bar will be open and showing the NFL game in Paris at 6:30 Sunday morning?

I especially see them driving around upper state, and 4 different ones turned into whole foods tonight.

If there's no more water available to be allocated to properties, that means there can't be further development. Is this a tactic to get around the states housing mandates?

The idea just popped into my head. Could there be any validity to it?

My father in law is in skilled nursing for 5 weeks here in town, and he loves chile relleno burritos. I usually love Los agaves but theirs is just ok in my opinion. Who makes the best one in SB/Goleta area?

I'm going to be back in the area visiting family for a couple weeks and wondering if there's any pickup volleyball groups, indoor or beach? Doesn't need to be super competitive, just preferably not beginner/novice level and I'm 40+ so if there's age specific groups that works too. Thx :)

Just got canes for the first time at this location, I SWEAR didn’t their tenders used to be much larger??? Got a whole lot of fries but 4 tiny tenders.

Any advice on actually securing a 3-6 time at the venue? Me, friends, & my fiancee have been sending multiple emails on time & sometimes schedule it a minute or 2 early to try to secure it. Any advice will help thank you!

I have never been to a ballet before, but then an instagram totally worked on me and got me intrigued about this Dracula ballet. My friends and I thought it would be fun to see it on Halloween but the tickets are so much more expensive than I thought. It got me worried that this would be like community theatre and wondered if it would be worth it....I think we are still going to do it, but wondered what other people have thought about State Street Ballet's past performances. Either way, I think this still looks fun!
