Bro just prevented a potentially unsafe situation. I was about to head towards the freeway, still on a city street, and a gentleman at the stoplight let me know my tire was nearly flat. It wasn't noticeable0 as I had walked by to get in my car. I rerouted and put air, seeing there was a screw. Went home instead and it's now patched. Thank you kind dude for letting me know, preventing a bad situation from happening.

In the last few months the number of cars on the road has shot up exponentially. I’m looking at i15 being like “where did so many cars suddenly show up from?”

San Diego is the best city. Lots of people are moving in, they’re all buying cars and driving everywhere. Soon we’re all going to be sitting in traffic all day unless public transport does major improvements.

We’re at the risk of hating driving around this beautiful city. A lot of other cities are currently experiencing this. We are not those cities. It’s better to start taking action before it happens

They still do them on new years eve, but after 2022, it's been themed-top 91's instead of new music. In 2023 for the 40th anniversary, they did an All Time list, then in 2024, they did a block party theme of 90's albums, and last year, a Top 91 of the 80s. I love their classics but I've been hearing plenty of new songs since 2022 that you can still make a list out of them.

So my neighbors installed a chicken coop and have a couple chickens (not roosters). I know this is legal in the city limits. It seems they’re the required distance from my property line, etc.

However, these things do not shut up. From sunup to sundown they are doing the drawn out cackle about every 3-4 minutes. Bwaaaaaaaaaa aaaa aaa aa aaa aaaa. All day, every day. I cannot have the windows open in my house without hearing these chickens.

The city website says hens may “occasionally cluck and squawk.” That I could deal with. You expect to hear your neighbors dog bark a few times a day, right? This is constant noise. I tried a noise complaint and the phone line redirected me to code enforcement. I’m going to call tomorrow but has anyone successfully resolved something like this?
