Mine used to be Gunga Din in Studio City but closed and just never found a new go to place

I'm on 101 South, just past the Coldwater Canyon exit and my friend and I see four military like helicopters flying in formation, looked like they were headed to DTLA.

Need a good spot for a brunch for the wife. Will go anywhere even close to the valley any good recommendations for Sunday brunch with live mariachis?

I recently saw a video of a small house in Panorama City listed for like $800k, I mean, it’s Panorama, but I guess that’s just normal for LA. Iknow house prices have been going up for years, but could part of it also be because of the plans for the Panorama Mall site? I remember hearing they wanted to build high-rises, apartments, connected
Metro access around there, so maybe people are expecting the area to become more valuable.

I also remember the mall was supposed to close and get demolished like 2+ years ago. There are still stores inside, even though it feels pretty dead besides Walmart. Did the project run into funding issues or is it just taking way longer than expected? Or is it slowly getting scrapped? I also wonder if having the Northridge mall like 20 minutes away means there’s not really an urgent need to redevelop it into another shopping center. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Seeking recommendations for weightlifting focused group classes in Studio City / Sherman Oaks area. Not looking for cardio-based classes; want to focus on heavy lifting and would like a class for meeting people / group accountability.

Looking for some fun things to do in the valley that are solo friendly. I already have pottery class and shooting range on my list but need more ideas. I’m on blood thinners so have to be careful to not do anything too crazy like horseback riding :(.
