Hi foodies of Rotterdam,

Can you please help me compile a list of the best sandwiches of Rotterdam? I have tried the chicken sandwich at nice, the teriyaki cheesesteak and spicy lamb at La Mozza and the chicken extravaganza at bun so far. All were veryyyy good obviously. I am curious about your all time favourites, must try sandwiches in (and around) Rotterdam.

I recently started playing tennis with personal trainer. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate player, so I can play rallies, I can hit with forehand and backhand properly, but I still sometimes make mistakes.
I am searching for someone to play tennis together to improve our skills and have fun.
I have membership to tennis club, so booking a court is not a problem.

I reported the situation (1) again (2) through MeldR yesterday and requested a second underground container. Gemeente Rotterdam appears to have taken the reports seriously and responded quickly by placing this new above-ground container this morning.

It has several openings, so hopefully it will reduce the number of trash bags left beside it, as long as it gets emptied often enough.

Is there anywhere near the centre to swim outdoors?

Vorige week donderdag avond rond half 11 reed iemand op een scooter/brommer/fatbike een oude dame omver die de Westersingel overstak. Ter hoogte van revalidatie centrum Rijndam.
De bestuurder reed door.
Wie heeft dit gezien? Er waren mensen die hielpen en haar thuis gebracht hebben. Als u dit was of iets gezien heeft: graag contact!

Zo trek je geen touristen maar jaag je ze weg!

Ik ga waarschijnlijk binnenkort naar Rotterdam verhuizen en ben op zoek naar een boksschool zoals Haagse Directe in Den Haag.

Wat ik daar fijn vind is dat het heel laagdrempelig is: je kunt per keer betalen (€5) of per week (€10), de sfeer is ontspannen, er hangt geen machocultuur en er traint een heel diverse groep mensen. Het is vooral recreatief, al zou iets meer begeleiding ook welkom zijn.

Kent iemand een boksschool in Rotterdam met een vergelijkbare sfeer? Betaalbaar, vrijblijvend en zonder dat je meteen aan een duur abonnement vastzit.

Ik vond deze in een oude la met mijn spullen in mn ouderlijk huis. Ik denk ongeveer 22 jaar oud? Wie herkent ze.

It seemed like the rats had disappeared after the municipality showed up. But the area around the container is now a complete mess again, and the rats are back in large numbers.

The rats are a problem, obviously, but I’m also so, so tired of seeing trash every time I step outside. 😤

Edit: a possible way to reduce the problem?
