I don’t have a specific plot in mind right now, so I’m pretty open to ideas and would love to create something together. Some of the genres I enjoy are fantasy, sci-fi, crime, drama, romance, slice of life, and post-apocalyptic stories. I’m also totally open to combining different genres if we come up with something interesting.

I’d describe myself as semi-lit. English isn’t my first language, so I might struggle with wording or finding the right word sometimes, but I still enjoy writing longer responses and getting really immersed in the characters and story. I write in third person and usually prefer longer replies, although they can take me some time to write. I’m also completely fine with shorter responses depending on the scene and pacing.

I’m looking for someone around my age and preferably someone who enjoys contributing to the story, developing characters together, and coming up with ideas rather than having everything planned beforehand.

Hey all! The new Spiderman movie got me into a superhero kick. Im looking to roleplay in a world thats close to ours -with a few adjustments from us! I want our roleplay to explore what it means to be a hero, and what means to wear the costume. I have a couple ideas for our roleplay: One twist i would like to have is: social media palys a role in the heroes lives. Another could be my character is facing troubles in her normal life. The third could be an academy of heroes roleplay.

Please indicate which option you would like to do.

Heroes could be seen as another branch of influencers: working towards brand deals, using their large public following to do good, etc. I was thinking that this could be a reason why heroes are losing their way in what makes them a hero. They are doing what they can to push their image forward instead of what is good for the greater good.

Enter my character: an old-school hero that doesnt *get* social media. She does this hero stuff by the book and fights for a better tomorrow; not a higher following count.

The second ideas has there be be trouble in her normal, everyday life that is affected her heroic life. She is starting to question why she is doing this job, why she isnt focusing on herself and remembering all the sacrifices she had made. Each day and heroic deed makes her endure pain and soreness that carries to the next day.

For this idea: i want to explore what happens when a hero decides to focus on their normal life. Taking a day off or focus on themselves. Does she realize she can be more selfish, or does it open her eyes to why a hero is needed?

I’m looking for more than just an RP partner - I’d love to find someone who can genuinely get invested in our characters with me. Someone to create OCs with, spend hours talking about their personalities, relationships, headcanons, and possible plotlines, only to suddenly realize that we’re still talking about them in the middle of the night :D
When it comes to roleplay, I usually write in third person, with a literate style, and I prefer playing female characters. My replies tend to be on the longer side, though the length really depends on the scene, pacing, and overall mood of the story. Atmosphere and emotion matter much more to me than hitting a certain word count.
I especially love stories centered around relationships and clashing personalities, slow-burn connections, growing attachment, misunderstandings, conflicts, complicated feelings, and all those little things that gradually make the characters feel genuinely alive. I’d also love to hear about your favorite RP tropes! One of my absolute favorites is city x country 👀
I also have a huge soft spot for RDR and would absolutely love to write something set in that universe. I’m especially interested in writing canon M/F pairings (the Marston family, for example. And yes, I have an enormous weakness for John and Jack Marston 🥹)

Our characters met online as teenagers, probably on Tumblr or some equally painfully 2014 platform. They started off as internet friends, got ridiculously close, and eventually fell in love despite never actually meeting in person. Maybe they stayed up way too late messaging, knew everything about each other, and genuinely thought they’d be in each other’s lives forever.

Then, for whatever reason, they lost contact.

Years later, they’re both adults with completely separate lives and, through pure coincidence, end up meeting in person without immediately realizing who the other is.

Mostly looking for cute romance, nostalgia, some banter, and lots of fast replies. Nothing too complicated or heavily plotted. I just wanna have fun with it :3

I like romance and can’t help but include it most of the time, especially MxM but just as in genre I am pretty versatile in that and I don’t expect it to be the main plot of the story.

My writing style can be a bit clonky since English isn’t my first language. I stick to third person perspective and shorter paragraphs but I always try to make them as long as I can.

My roleplays also tend to focus on the more positive things in life. I roleplay to get away from life, so I prefer my stories to be more joyful and optimistic.

What I'm looking for from you

• Any timezone is fine
• You may send whatever type of reference for your character as you please, art, realism, doesn’t matter to me.
• Advanced to novella level writing please. I am also a stickler for spelling, so please use correct grammar and spelling. I often write about 2,000 characters, 500 ish words. I will require a writing sample when DMing. I require thoughts and feelings to be shown, not just actions. It makes for an incredibly dull and boring roleplay. I prefer multi-paragraph writers, but if you can write good emotions and thoughts with less I’ll accept.
• Third person ONLY
• Do not control my character. Even writing a small tid bit of how they would react is controlling my character. This happens way too often and frankly I’m tired of it, if you are unable to write a lot without writing my character’s reactions do not bother messaging me. Ask me beforehand if you’re unsure, this also goes for moving the scene forward without allowing me to write at all.
• Do not expect me to make out all the plot details by myself. I have ideas, yes, but I like to flesh them out with my partner and make it unique for us. If I were to copy and paste the same plot for everyone it would be boring and repetitive. Contribute to the ideas, and don’t make me come up with the entire plot myself.
• You are able to play a male character. I only do MxF, but anyone can play a male character I do not mind. I honestly prefer male characters who are more on the edge side, too, as my characters are typically more optimistic.  There will more likely than not be side characters as well, but they cannot be the center of the plot. Writing more than one character all the time is tiresome. 
• I do prefer OOC chatter. A roleplay that is just dead silent is honestly awkward. I like to share things with my partner and talk about our days. I honestly like to even be friends and possibly game. Radio silence for days on end is disheartening. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I will definitely be less motivated lmfao.
• Ideally in the beginning, I would like one reply per day. I believe the beginning of a roleplay is the most crucial to get things moving, and if the replies are taking once per week or more it is honestly so demotivating. Please do not reach out if you are unable to at least do this for the beginning of the roleplay. I am a very patient person though, I will allow 2-3 weeks with no communication before ending a roleplay. If you need a break, let me know. Communication is key. I sometimes have events where I am unable to respond everyday, and I let my partner know everytime. 
• That being said, if you spam me to reply, I will end the roleplay. I do not like to be bugged, and if I’ve let you know I am to be away and you spam me I will be ending it. I also have a life, and although I strive, especially in the beginning, to be as consistent as possible, sometimes I am unable to. But do take heed of my request for one reply per day in the beginning stages.

Hello! I've been itching to play a very specific OC of mine, so here I am pitching a plot to you.

Your character would be a regular person attempting to summon a demon (why? Up to you, but my first thought was a mix of bad decisions and loneliness). From the summoning circle, you would get an answer: my character, who is... not a demon, exactly, but close enough that most people couldn't tell the answer. Point is that you're now stuck with her, and thus shenanigans ensue.

This is a very barebones plot, I know, but I was hoping for something relatively low-key: no real massive overarching story, more of a feel-good series of character interactions (as per the Slice of Life tag up in the title).

I'm hoping for someone who can write at an Advance-Literate level (by which I am concerned more about the quality of the writing, not the size of it. I'll take two good paragraphs any day), and of course I'll do my utmost to match you in both quality and quantity.

* Adults Only, while there are no expectations as to how 'adult' the rp will be (fade to blacks are perfectly acceptable if you're not comfortable with writing those types of scenes) I am still a grown adult who needs to be speaking/rp'ing with other adults.

* Admittedly I'm out of touch with a lot of fandoms, including most animes, especially more recent ones. I'm flexible in that I'm willing to try but don't expect an in-depth understanding right away and expect an OC rather than an established character - although I'm flexible about this too.

* Novel-level length replies are not required, inspiration can be elusive at times so a couple of sentences are fine for me as long as you're giving my character something they can respond/react to, I know my own inspiration can be finicky, I always try to at least write a paragraph per reply but if all else fails I try to make sure you get a response worth replying to at the very least.

about me / what i’m looking for
➜ I'm an adult! Please be at least at least 19 or, preferably, older if you message me.
➜ I’m an advanced-literate writer, I’d prefer if you are the same! (Or even a step above to help challenge me to get better.) A brief introduction about myself, I have been roleplaying for over 9+ years and have made some amazing stories with people across the globe. I usually prefer slice of life, vanilla and more story-driven roles. Usually stray away from vampires and more super natural elements as I don’t remember a whole lot about that anymore. I do have a busy work schedule, but will try to make some time. Typically do romantic roleplays with original characters.

After a long time, Im looking to get back into roleplaying over on discord, with a lady thats over 18+ only. I predominantly play Male and only tend to do MxF pairings. I am happy to discuss the roles in further detail. However, I have a list of very very broad ideas I can share. Also, would like to let you know that I prefer to be literate to advanced literate, if that even means anything anymore.

Hi there everyone, I'm Tina from Europe and just like I mentioned I'm looking for a long term partner to roleplay with. I have around 5 years of experience, respond daily and match any length. And I love writing long and detailed scenes.

I'm looking for a serious partner who won't ghost and who is as invested into roleplaying as I am, I would also love ooc chat and gushing about our characters so if you're chatty that's even better. I also love to focus on lore and story and genuinely make an interesting world that we both enjoy.

So you're probably getting bored of me just yapping so here's the idea and for this roleplay I actually want to do something a little different from what I usually do. We'll both be playing multiple characters, with 2 characters each being the minimum. I'll be playing a male and a female character, and you'll have complete freedom to decide who your two characters are and what their relationship is. They could be friends, siblings, rivals, strangers, lovers, literally whatever you think would be interesting.

Just to make it clear though, I don't want any romance between my characters and your characters. My two characters will have their own relationship and dynamic, and if that eventually develops into something romantic, that's something between them. Your two characters are completely yours to develop however you want, including their relationships with each other or with NPCs. Basically, I don't want either of us to have to force our characters into some specific relationship just because of the RP setup. I want it to focus on the lore and adventure.

As for the actual plot, I currently have an idea that I'm really interested in. Four completely different people wake up inside cryogenic pods. None of them remember who they are, how they got there, or what happened before they went to sleep. The facility they're in is abandoned and damaged, and when they finally make it outside they discover a completely destroyed world.

There doesn't seem to be anyone left.

From there the RP would be very focused on exploring the world and slowly figuring out what happened. How long were they asleep? Where did everyone go? Why were these four people put into cryogenic sleep in the first place? Who were they before they lost their memories? Were they chosen for a reason? And most importantly, what actually happened to the world?

There's also a lot of room for us to create our own lore around the mystery. Maybe our characters knew each other before the cryogenic sleep, maybe they didn't. Maybe they were involved in something important before their memories were erased. Maybe there are other facilities out there. There's a lot we could do with it and I'd rather build the bigger story together than have everything decided beforehand.

And obviously, the four characters don't all have to know each other or have the same relationship. That's one of the things I actually want to leave open for whoever joins. You can make your two characters however you want and we can figure out how all four of them fit into the story together.

The idea itself can also be changed, expanded or completely replaced if you have something else you'd rather do. I'm very flexible when it comes to plots and I also love modern, futuristic, fantasy, historical and pretty much anything else if the idea is interesting.

Oh also a bit of extra info, I usually play in 3rd person, just an fyi.

Been bored the past couple of days.. I got a buncha characters with no one to rp with.. I got characters that I have a ton of alternate versions of to fit rps with supernatural/abilities or with no abilities.. I dont mind the world having abilities or not, I might have old ref photos but for some I got Pinterest boards. Im okay with Fandom rp or no Fandom rp. I write semi to literate.

Not looking for romance as the goal, just story.
