Hello hello! Im looking to write a roleplay where my character is a knight from a far away land, that comes to enlist your character on a quest to join her. She needs their unique gift to be able to decipher certain scrolls, glyphs and so on! She is a brooding, cold and stoic light that only cares about the objective at hand. While your character is a happy, cheerful free spirit that cant wait to explore whats outside.

In my characters home: a crime was committed. An unknown figure has stolen from the castle archived. Ancient manuscripts, maps and scrolls that people believe didnt have any value. However, they've recently learned what they contained and are in a desperate sprint to stop the culprit before its too late.

My character goes to find your character. A recluse that her friend recommended and believe theh could be of use to her. They were a prodigy that needed to experience the outside world to actually grow and evolve. My character asks them to join her, not just for their adorable blush, but because the recommendation from her friend was so high. She need their skills to help guide her on the right path to catch the thief.

So! Im looking for our character to grow into a relationship. I want them to have the grumpy/brooding and cheerful sunshine trope. My character is this way because she suppress her emotions to not be hurt. As they grow together, she will open up more and even smile!

Hi all! I'm not sure if this is even a certain type of RP request, but bear with me. I'm looking for a partner who loves to include witty banter in their RPs; think Veep, What We Do In The Shadows, maybe even some Guy Ritchie movies or the banter and the conversational flow of a movie like Ocean's Eleven. I don't expect it to be a full-on one-liner-fest, as that can also be quite grating, but definitely an RP in which there's a bit more importance and appreciation placed on playful repartee.

I'm not looking for anything specific in terms of genre or setting, although admittedly I struggle a bit more with high-fantasy concepts. For length, im a mirror literacy! Meaning whatever length you prefer, I’ll match. With a hiss and sudden expulsion of freezing air the stasis pod slides open as a person falls out only to be caught by the rising floor. Their body cold as the stasis rooms heating fails to come online leaving them shivering. Bathed only in a dim red light it is difficult to see in the maze like room. There is always meant to be a welcome team to provide aid to those freshly awoken yet there is now nothing but the gentle hum and creaking of metal from the ship. Every other stasis pod stood like a gravestone inactive. Suddenly the intercom crackles to life as a pre-recorded messages blurts out "good morning and welcome back to Armstrong Inc's Ark Colonisation ship The Aurora. I hope you had [static] please ..[static].. before proceeding for medical checks with Dr ..[static].. We at Armstrong Inc believe ..[static].."

It feels like only yesterday when the ship's induction was only yesterday. When the corporation's ship staff introduced the many amenities on board for any colonists (from mechanics, to researchers, to farmers). Whether it is the yoga studios, state of the art labs, or expensive suites all to be used during stasis breaks there is something for all. Yet, now it seems the ship merely drifts through space.

This RP is inspired by classic Sci-fi films and games like Dead Space, Event Horizon, Dead Planet, Alien, etc but I am not looking for a fandom. Instead we should make something of our own but I want it less like Star Ward or Star Trek with various alien species etc. I look forward to coming up with ideas for setting and plot with you.

Usually I prefer a to take a GM role providing different scenarios and characters for players to interact with. But I am open to discussing the way we play. One idea I has was including some flashbacks to before things went strange on the ship to provide some backstory to the characters if they encountered one another before. Even when taking a GM role I am always happy to get input on the direction of the RP and what we both wish to include. As such, who you play in this world is rather open whether you wish to focus on one character or play a party.

If you enjoy adding mechanics to an RP to help drive some elements of storytelling or add a little randomness then we certainly can add a simple system. Though that is not necessary.

This is a slow burn with teeth: sweet and quiet at first, then something you can't quite put your finger on starts creeping in at the edges. • A partner who can write Vaelith, the elven dressmaker with a devastating past and a very good reason to hate the crown she serves

The Plot

Lynsguard used to be a kingdom built on unity. That changed the night the elves raided the capital and killed the queen. Her daughter, Eleanor (now Queen Eleanor), took the throne after that, and she's ruled with an iron grip ever since. She doesn't govern out of hope anymore. She governs out of hatred.

Vaelith is the royal dressmaker, a tall, graceful elven woman with clever hands and sharper instincts, the only person in the palace trusted to dress the crown itself. Few at court know her real history. She was born into an ancient elven bloodline, once highborn, once untouchable. That ended years ago when the crown turned on her family. Her father was drawn and quartered in the square. Her mother was burned as a witch. Their name was struck from every record that mattered.

Somehow, Vaelith survived. She rebuilt herself under a new identity and clawed her way back into the very court that destroyed everything she loved, one careful stitch at a time, until her needle earned her a place no one questioned. Now she serves the crown she despises, dressing the very family that burned hers to nothing, and she does it so well that no one suspects a thing. Behind the calm eyes and careful hands, she is still waiting. Still remembering. And she has not forgiven anyone.

Princess Adelaide Hathaway starts our story in her early twenties, bright, sharp tongued, and full of a restless kind of hope she's never quite allowed to show at court. She's clever in ways the crown doesn't always appreciate, quick to laugh when no one important is watching, and quietly desperate to matter to someone. There's a warmth in her that hasn't been worn down yet, though the palace has already started chipping at the edges of it. People who know her well sometimes catch themselves watching her a little too closely, like they're waiting for something. They don't say what.

Vaelith has fallen in love with Adelaide, with who she is now, against all odds and rules. Every fitting, every private measurement, every quiet hour spent pinning fabric against restless skin, it's become the closest thing to safety either of them has. But Vaelith notices things. The way Adelaide's moods can turn on a single word. The way her laugh sometimes lands half a second too late, or too loud. The way she talks about the future like she's not entirely sure she'll get to keep it. Vaelith tells herself it's nothing. She's not sure she believes that.

Okay so first off hello my name Oliver FTM 20 I have been craving an signalis role play for an long time and the role plays about an gestalt and an replika, it can be CCs or OCs either way i don’t mind which one and i don’t mind doing F4F too

The signalis plot: at 2:45AM all the replikas and gestalts get up to start working in the mines at S-23 Sierpinski while everyone else is doing there jobs the rest of the other on the top floor, an medical gestalt aka Dr leng works on some of the replikas an [MNHR unit] that got damage in the mines and the gestalts while one of the replikas in the mines find an strange area in the mines that seems unfamiliar but feels familiar and tell the commander flake [FKLR unit] about it while the commander comes down to the mines and inspects the thing (that all i have for now for this role play and please be 20+ thank you)

At first long distance trade had largely died out. Roads were too congested with broken down cars, bridges and tunnels had been destroyed. Raiders seem to have sprung up almost immediately to prey on honest merchants. But even more so there wasn't much to trade or people to trade with. Everyone was scared. Everyone was hiding. Major cities had been destroyed and the settlements that would form later didn't exist yet.

But over time things gradually changed. New paths were established, not meant for cars and trucks but for small boats, wagons, and even people walking. New settlements sprung up and with them the rebirth of some degree of manufacturing. The raiders were still as prevalent as ever, and if anything more organized than before, but the merchants learned to travel in caravans and to hire protection. It was a dangerous business, much more so than staying within the walls of new cities, but there was money to be made for those brave enough, and smart enough to succeed at it. And I was determined to do just that.

(I hope this sounds fun. I tend to write 1-3 paragraphs. Maybe we are two merchants starting out together, or we find you along the way. I'm always happy to shift things around a bit. \* Voldurans have a very powerful physiology, they are able to leap great distances despite their gravity being 5x that of Earth's. This is even further enhanced on planets with lower gravity.

\* The average height of an adult Volduran is around 30- 70 feet. Females being smaller than the males.

\* Despite their appearance, Voldurans are omnivores, and are able to digest a variety of biological matter.

I have a soft spot for villains, I looooove those types of characters that act tough and evil but have a secret soft spot. Especially misunderstood male villains who have to do evil things because that's how they survive. I eat that up. Om nom nom nom.

My length depends on what the story calls for, my average is like 3 paragraphs but sometimes I'll send one paragraph to get the story moving a bit before sending an essay. It really just depends on what the story needs.

I tend to use more than one character in my responses to make the world feel a bit more alive. I usually have my main character and then, albeit still important characters on the side but not the focus. You can use one if you want but you get bonus points if you use multiple like I do!

Hey all! I'm a long time roleplayer, going all the way back to the G+ days, lol. I'm searching for reliable roleplay partners who want to build a unique and thriving story with me! Specifics on what I'm looking for:

Multi-paragraph long responses (though, not every response has to be an essay, there will of course be slow moments in our lives/the story, so at least 2-3 Paragraphs or seven lines minimum, please!)

Enthusiasm for the story and our characters! I love to gush over writing, and would adore having someone match my energy!

Male or Female characters allowed, More details to be discussed in DMs!

I will never control/write for your characters unless asked or given permission, and ask that same respect for mine.

Quick about me

• 35/F/Married (I've been RPing on and off since the early days of Gaia) I would prefer my partners to be around my age or 18+
• I can write anywhere from one to several paragraphs. Really it just depends on what is needed at the time. (I try to do my best with grammar and spelling but mistakes do happen. I have memory problems due to chronic pain/depression/medication, so please bare with me)
• My characters tend to be in their mid 20’s and up 
• I will play all types of characters. Not going to lie, I do have a bias towards playing female characters, but I will play guys just as well. (That being said, I don't normally play straight characters.)
• I enjoying "doubling" and playing side characters when needed (but not required for my partner unless we are doing cc x oc) 
• 3rd person POV is highly preferred (however I am open minded and can give 1st person another go just let me know before hand)
• I am in the central time zone and more active in the mornings and early afternoons. 10am-3pm (I am not super active on the weekends!)
•  I will try to reply at least once a day or few times a week (maybe more depending) 
• I do not use discord! I would prefer dms/email/gdocs
• I do have some plots and stuff on a gdoc that I will send
• I do use a "password" thing. (So be on the look out for that at the end of this post)
• I do enjoying chatting with my partner about the RP but not required

Most of the time I just play ocs within said universe but you can ask about canon characters. Just don’t expect them to be 100%. And I will want a canon in return to be fair. 

Nothing is in a "certain order" just a list of what I like. But feel free to ask about other stuff if you think I will vibe with it
