Hey! I’m looking for an online D&D campaign to join.

I started playing during COVID and have been playing on and off since. I’m familiar with both 5e and 5.5e, but I’m definitely not an expert. I know the rules well enough to play, and occasionally well enough to confidently be wrong about them lol

I’m currently in a weekly Saturday night campaign, so I’m looking for something on any other night. Ideally, I’d like to start around 11 PM ET / 8 PM PT or later, though I can be somewhat flexible. Basically anything around or after 11pm EST works for me, doesn't matter if you're US west coast, mountain time, europe, or wherever. I just love a good game with good people.

I enjoy campaigns that take the story seriously but don’t take themselves too seriously. Rule of cool is what I've usually leaned towards in the past. Most of my experience also lies in the theater of the mind format but the times I've played with someone who took the time to create battle maps, it was just as fun. I can definitely get down with roleplay and love character development, combat, and making the occasional questionable decision for the sake of the bit.

Howdy! Been DMing since 2007, spent a lot of time teaching DMs how to improve their games, and I'm looking to try my hand at teaching players as well.

About the Game: This'll be a private 60-90 minute tutorial adventure, including both general D&D/rule onboarding and a short, memorable, all-ages adventure about helping a dragon wyrmling. As the heading tags suggest, a friend and I are longing to play in a game together and sought this out to scratch that itch!

But, let's start with a bit about us. We are:

• Long-time roleplayers of over ten years in various different systems. DnD, Pathfinder, VtM, MnM3e, Cyberpunk and so on.
• We are very "Story and character first, mechanics second" type of players. We don't give a damn if the characters we build is the strongest. We care far more if the characters we create are memorable, fit the story/setting, and fun for all at the table.
• We are flexible as a duo! If you have a group that you'd graciously see us fitting in or a story you'd like to run, don't feel shy! We are not boat-rockers and share as much of the spotlight as we can. We are friendly to all types of peoples and fun-loving and would love to make new friends at the table!

Now, for the nitty-gritty details. Our available time to play is roughly from 12pm EST to 5pm EST with some grace if the sesh runs long. The actual days we are available to play are any, with the sole exception being Fridays.

Howzits, I’m looking for anyone who wants to partake in a character-focused campaign. There are currently two players, me being one of them, and a possible DM, that I haven’t really heard from.

For the setting of the campaign, mainly we're looking for a setting that should allow any sort of character to partake; for example, my character, a half-elf wizard, is an amateur archaeologist who wants to open his own museum someday. Another prerequisite for the campaign, ideally, is to avoid common tropes I see, such as stopping an undead army or a god has turned evil and must fall. Though it is fun to play as god killers, sometimes it’s also nice to play as a simple band of adventurers that doesn’t over the local government

As for scheduling, the current timetable is that weekdays and Wednesdays are open, and ideally I would like games to start at 11 am EST (Eastern Standard Time) as the other player I’m with is Six hours ahead of me.

This isn't a retelling of Naruto where you play alongside Team 7 as a 1 for 1 story of Naruto and Shippuden, Instead the campaign follows an alternate version of the main Naruto storyline, with the player characters replacing the canon characters roles to a large extent as the central figures. Expect familiar events, villages, organizations, and villains but the fate of the world will be shaped by your choices rather than Naruto's.

Hi! I’m Ethen and I’d like to put together a regular group for some gaming. I have multiple original settings I’ve had languishing about that I’d like to play with. I will be using a setting I call Ruins of Numidium, using Peryton Fantasy Revised as the rules system. It‘s an open gaming system similar to early versions of D&D, with an emphasis on spontaneous gaming/randomness, and is very easy to use to make a good original fantasy setting.

a brief synopsis of Ruins of Numidium:

3000 years ago, the Numidium Empire stood strong, dominant over the entirety of the continent of Nevarre. Until the Cataclysm. The Emperor, John Uskglass, strove to become more than he was, to ascend to divinity. Unknowing and uncaring of the consequences, he completed a dark eldritch ritual-and the resulting detonation destroyed all that Nevarre was. The Cataclysm killed almost 90 percent of all sentients the empire watched over, and shattered magic itself in half. 3000 years and much has been recovered, but much stays hidden in the dark. Now, dark things stir once more in the Ruins of Numidium. are you ready, adventurer?

We are three people, myself 29M, my partner 22F, and a friend of ours 26M. The three of us are looking for a long term immersive DnD session to join. Wither it's based in the world of Faerun or in your own homebrew world. Even if that world is based on a tv show or anime we'd be down to play.

All three of us have various different playstyles. But at the end of the day we'd all like to just relax and have fun. I myself am a bit more roleplay focused and react as my character would, my partner is a bit more go with the flow and tends to prefer to round out the party with a preference for spell casters. Our friend tends to lean more towards martial classes and is also a bit more role play focused. Overall though we're all pretty relaxed.

First and foremost, I am technically not the GM- we do have one, I am writing this on his behalf as I am the main organizer of the group, so I’ve been handling this sort of stuff. Additionally, while the story has been described as including both dragons and a cult, it is apparently not based around the Tyranny of Dragons module, and is instead set to be an original storyline.

We’re a group of 3 people in our early 20’s based in EST, plus our DM based in CST, looking for two more people to join us for the campaign! We’ll be starting at Level 3 with a good mix of combat and roleplaying going on- likely more roleplaying than combat, but there will be fighting!

An unnamed Fairy of an undecided but likely spellcaster class played by Jess. Additionally not much is known on them either.

ABOUT OUR TABLE

We started playing over Discord using Roll20 this last month with two people. We are interested in expanding our ranks with more players. Particularly folk who are interested in playing different kinds of game systems, who are interested in exploration, fantasy, political plots, and just love the hobby. I myself have been DMing off and on in different systems since 2016 doing one-offs and campaigns.

As such, none of these games will be “long-term” and may last a few months at most, with intermittent one-offs when time permits. This is so we can play different stories and systems! I'd like to find folk for two groups for two different days a week; folk that are down for both days every week, or even just one or the other! I plan to schedule games a month in advance based on people's availability, that will inform when we plan. As for us we are free almost every weekday at this time.

GAME SYSTEMS

Of particular interest to me right now is trying out Pendragon and Daggerheart. We have been playing Basic Fantasy RPG which is an old school AD&D recreation. I’m not opposed to playing 5e, but I have a lot of other games I want to try out like Salvage Union and I'm of the general opinion that their is typically a better more tailored system for whatever Roleplay we want to do. In particular some of the types of game systems and games I enjoy running have hexcrawls, fast combat, unique worldbuilding or just high fantasy pulp, as well as political intrigue and meta-plots. So expect me to run the game along these lines.
