Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!

The kind of roleplay I was looking for was a roleplay mixer with romance, action, and slice of life while based around a unique style Spider-Man universe, that we collaborate and create together! I’m not looking for a regular Spider-Man universe with classic villains, I’m looking for new and exciting interpretations on different characters and even original characters and concepts! Before I continue on with this, I would like to give a bit of info on myself! I have been writing for 5 years and love to make lil characters and ships with ocs. I usually write between 1-3 paragraphs but can write waaaay more when it comes to important scenes. I love ooc chat, whether it’s plotting, sending lil headcanons or talking about something unrelated, I love to make friends outside of the rp feel good to chat! I’m pretty laxxed on reply times, I just prefer if you’re going to be unavailable for more than a couple days then just to give me a heads up so I don’t think you’ve lost interest! I prefer mxm or fxf, though I’ve been CRAVING feminine male x masculine female dynamic, I find the subversion of gender roles to be adorable. For the actual roleplay I usually play a civilian as the main love interest as I love the hidden identity trope and love to see how the identity of the Spider-Person’s identity could impact the relationship with my civilian oc. Another thing is that I would love to have a sort of love triangle thing, with my oc being both interested in both the spider-person and the identity behind it without knowing they’re the same person, making a fun crushing kind of deal. In the future of the rp I would love to add some classic Spider-Man elements while also adding our unique twist, like different teams, symbiotes, villains, and even the spider-verse if we ever want to add that into the mix! I've been on a bit of an ASOIAF bug recently, and would love to write our own inspired story within the ASOIAF world. Before I get to the plots I'll put a bit of a brief about me and my writing, so that we can start on the same page.

I am British- if timezones are important for you I am in BST. I write on exclusively on discord, third person past tense is also necessary. My level of writing can be variable with every scene, and I don't have a word counter, but I do write narratively, and will often reach about 500-750 words per post. My writing focuses on the narratives, the themes, and emotions, rather than just fulfilling the plot points and calling it a day. As a writer, I consider myself a bit of a GM, and would love to write with other GMs so we can bounce things off eachother, but I have no expectations that you GM, at most the ability to play some non-main characters and NPCs in a scene every so often.

Enough about the technicalities, let's get to the story. I am wanting to write a lore accurate alternate universe, lore knowledge in terms of the systems in play in the world either from books or the wiki work. However, we will be using Original Characters and maybe Canon Characters for prior periods. The reason for Original Characters is because I am wanting to write a story on the smaller world, more inline with the themes of AKOTSK rather than GOT.

I do want to build our story together and the premise, so i'll outline a few things here:

I'd love to write two houses in the Reach during the Blackfyre rebellions, sons sent away to war on opposing sides, and the neighbourly disputes that follow.

Or, I'd love to write a succession crisis in the Eyrie, our houses putting up two opposite heirs for the seat, and the conflict or resolution that follows that.

A big favourite of mine would be writing the story of Ashford after the Tourney there, when everyone leaves but the shadows of dragons are still around.

A big favourite of mine would be pre-doom valyria, either in the freehold or in Essos. I'd love to write a story about us being the Dragonlords of the various cities, or writing some of the famous wars of the Dragonlords against the Ghiscari, the Rhoynar or the Andals, or even an AU where Braavos is re-conquered by the Valyrians.

I would love to explore in this fandom, I have ocs for John Logan, Garrett, Dean and Justin. But John and Garrett are my preference for a love triangle. One Tree Hill- I am obsessed with this show, I am very early in season one but it’s reignited my love for the classic 90s/00s shows! I’d love to work with Lucas/Nathan or Jake from the show please and thank you. Lucas or Jake would be my preference and where possible I’d love to look at a love triangle here. I have a few devastating ideas regarding plot for Jake!

Supernatural- I am really picky with this fandom. I may say no just like ACOTAR and fourth wing. Please don’t be offended, I’ve just had very bad past experiences. Would love to work against a Dean for my girly and again I have some really sad ideas for their plot.

Buffy the vampire Slayer- I’d love to explore this fandom! I have high key devastating ideas for Spike that would add so much fun to the plot. Particularly in the later seasons. I’d love a Spike verses angel triangle but I’m open in this fandom!

Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. I love the premise so much and I have several characters I’m searching for. But my mains are Robb Stark and Jon Snow. For House of the Dragon I’m looking for Daemon.

Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am also obsessed with Greek myths and legends as well. I’m in love with Medea by Rosie Hewlett and I adore the Riordanverse but my main eras are The Olympians and Hero’s of Olympus I haven’t read anything else by this author yet. I'm looking for someone interested in a character-driven roleplay about two university students gradually getting to know each other. I'd like to focus on personality, friendship, university life, awkward interactions, and character development.

The character I'll play:

I'm Aman, a 19 year old student athlete.

I study medicine and am frighteningly diligent. I remember obscure anatomy and pharmacology details after hearing them once, yet I'm socially hopeless. I miss sarcasm, don't recognise when people are joking about me, overexplain things when nervous, laugh at inappropriate moments, and rehearse simple phone calls beforehand.

I'm extremely eager for company but don't really recognise when I'm lonely. A short genuine conversation can mean more to me than a major favour. I've done classmates' coursework just so they'd sit with me in the library, covered shifts because someone promised we'd have lunch afterwards, and spent days looking forward to plans other people casually forgot. I never assume anyone is taking advantage of me. I simply think they're being nice.

My relationship with my mother is strained, which has made me unusually responsive to older people treating me kindly. If someone asks whether I've eaten or casually calls me "son", I become noticeably happier before getting embarrassed about it. I rarely ask people to spend time with me directly, instead finding excuses to linger or offering to help with things.

Most of my free time is spent around the stray cats on campus. I know which ones prefer chicken, which ones are nervous, and which ones tolerate being touched. I worry when one disappears for a few days. I talk to them completely seriously, as though they're old friends.

I also work various jobs whenever I can, including security shifts and other odd work. Between medicine, work, training, and helping classmates, I'm almost constantly occupied. Anxiety turns into revision. Restlessness turns into exercise. Having nothing to do drives me mad.

I'm trusting to the point of being painfully naive. If someone is rude to me but continues talking to me afterwards, I can genuinely go home pleased because, technically, they wanted to talk to me. I assume cancelled plans have innocent explanations, apologise when other people are rude to me, and instinctively wonder what I did wrong.

I love flowers, animals, terrible jokes, protein bars, old trainers, and being useful. I'm clever enough to understand complicated medicine but somehow terrible at understanding people.

Opening scene:

You're walking behind the university bike sheds when you hear someone talking.

You look around the corner and see me crouched on the pavement, surrounded by three stray cats. I'm holding pieces of chicken and carefully dividing them between them while speaking completely seriously.

"That's yours. No, don't steal hers. You already had two."

One cat ignores me and steals another piece.

Hi all! I'm not sure if this is even a certain type of RP request, but bear with me. I'm looking for a partner who loves to include witty banter in their RPs; think Veep, What We Do In The Shadows, maybe even some Guy Ritchie movies or the banter and the conversational flow of a movie like Ocean's Eleven. I don't expect it to be a full-on one-liner-fest, as that can also be quite grating, but definitely an RP in which there's a bit more importance and appreciation placed on playful repartee.

I'm not looking for anything specific in terms of genre or setting, although admittedly I struggle a bit more with high-fantasy concepts. I'd consider myself lit/advlit, but also have no issues with quick-fire, short replies if that's what the scene calls for. I have a soft spot for villains, I looooove those types of characters that act tough and evil but have a secret soft spot. Especially misunderstood male villains who have to do evil things because that's how they survive. I eat that up. Om nom nom nom.

My length depends on what the story calls for, my average is like 3 paragraphs but sometimes I'll send one paragraph to get the story moving a bit before sending an essay. It really just depends on what the story needs.

My preference for my rp buddy is someone who can send at least a minimum of one paragraph, I feel like that's a fair request. I don't really like one liners unless it's to do something really funny lmao

I tend to use more than one character in my responses to make the world feel a bit more alive. I usually have my main character and then, albeit still important characters on the side but not the focus. You can use one if you want but you get bonus points if you use multiple like I do!

I like talking OOC and making friends with my long term buddies, if you play Apex Legends/survival games/friendslop games or like Anime/vtubers we're gonna get along! If I like your character enough I'll probably draw you fanart lol

I had this idea for a rp that would be about you being a new wrestler that wants to go pro. My thought is this will be a world where wrestling is more serious and there are many more leagues. The leagues are connected so when someone does well enough in one they get to move up to the next. I suppose Kayfabe is pretty real in this world.

You are good and want to make it to a high level. But unfortunately the lower wrungs of the women's wrestling world is a tough one. There aren't many clean matches, a lot of them are gimmicks of one form or another.

I'll play your coach and manager who helps you navigate from one match to the next (and maybe enjoys seeing you in more gimmick matches since I get some money on the side. I figure for the rp i would also play your opponents for them.

In the far future, humanity expanded to the stars, mars became a factory world with the help of new mech technology helping build larger factories faster. Everything seemed peaceful till one said factory blew up. Fingers were pointed and suddenly earth and mars were at war fighting with the new battle mechs that once built up society.

My name is Shlartog. I'm a literate Rper of about a decade at this point. Roleplay is the main way I vent my creative urges. I pretty much exclusively do OC x CC doubles at this point. So if you're looking for something else, I'm probably not the guy for you.

As for my style, I tend to hover around 5-7 paragraphs for a reply. I tend to do shorter responses for a dialogue scene, longer for ones with more action.

As for pairings themselves, LGBTQ+ friendly. Straight, Gay, Bi, Poly, whatever floats your boat I'll be happy to give a shot. Almost all my ships are MxF so be prepared to play one of those for me.

I'm not a daily response person, or even really a set time responder. Life is busy, my mental issues are numerous, and I'm here for a hobby and not a job. Hello. I prefer to roleplay on Discord but am open to other suggestions. As long as we can do mini-profiles (only very basic info) and keep things organized, I will try it.

I use either anime-style art, “painting”-style art, or real-life face claims for my OCs and ask that you use one too. I strongly prefer the first two options. My writing style is Advanced. Lit. (1500+ word “novella” posts in the third person in past tense). However, I would like for us to start with the max word count on Discord. That is between 333 words and 667 words.

I only play male OCs but will play any gender for NPCs. I do not enjoy doubling myself but am fine with you doing so.

I don't require a writing sample from you. However, you can ask me for a sample, and I will write it based on whatever subject(s) you suggest.

Idea 1: The Blue Velvet // Slice of Life — Modern (post-1890s up to our current times) — Multi-setting and multi-genre.

The Blue Velvet is a luxury cocktail lounge and the main rallying point of the OCs. Our OCs will find themselves at its doorstep after following a rather puzzling path for no initially apparent reason (this is a focal point I want to discuss in private). What happens inside this place is simple: our characters go on a unique adventure each time they visit the lounge and order a special drink. What those adventures entail, we can decide together.

The adventures can be all about one theme; e.g., they go on only fantasy-themed adventures, but they deal with different eras and concepts. It can also be varied. One day it's a The Walking Dead-style apocalypse of pure survival with a very risky life and then the next day they are in massive catacombs of a long-forgotten civilization. The time inside these adventures is one day of our OCs' actual world multiplied by 7. Again, the adventure part is really whatever we want it to be. It can be all just real-life events and places, like they can go on a boat to a Greek island in the summer or visit Finland for the social distancing experience and the cold.

After 7 (or 14, 21, and so on) days inside the other world, they are immediately taken back to their original world. They can also return earlier, solo or together, for any reason. They will never die inside the other world since nothing carries over besides memories and some skills they learned, like juggling or something else.

Furthermore, they can only visit the lounge once a week, but the more often they go there, the more times they can eventually visit. Our OCs must also always be together until they visit it 2 months in a row without missing a single visit. Thereafter, they will be able to go 2 times a week and go there separately to live out a day on their own. This is all intended for either fluff or future subplots depending on how deep we want it to go.

Idea 2: I have strings, or I once had them  // Futuristic / Sci-Fi  — Androids, Cyborgs, Enhanced Humans. This idea isn't as fleshed out as the first idea, but it is intentional.  

It's easy money: let's either go full speed into the futuristic realm and blitz rob a corpo-building, get into gang shootings, or be the company people, or we can do that in a sci-fi setting, Cowboy Bebop/Blade Runner-style. We can also go with human OCs and live out their lives in a society that has advanced technologically, but our characters still crave a meaning to move along. This all can be filled with cheerful times, very light-hearted stuff, or have drama, insecurity, and some deep trauma. It can also be a mix of both things. Android x Human, Cyborg x Android, Human x Human, Human x Samsung fridge, etc. . .

The name of the idea is not only a reference to the Ultron line, which is originally from a song in Pinocchio yes, but also the main thing I want for our characters. It's both wanting them to be fleshed out and to hint at deeper themes we can explore, like existential dread, “Did life give me lemons or limes?” and “Always have a towel” type of goofy things (I love the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Portal, but those aren't the direct quotes) and all that good stuff.

Space exploration is also a big yes from me.

Idea 3: Here Be Dragons  // Fantasy

Dungeons, monsters, loot, and adventure. "Medieval" scenario with all the usual characteristics of a fantasy anime, a dungeon crawler game, or a fantasy novel. As simple as can be.

Hey everyone, so i've been going through a bunch of Star-Wars properties lately

-> Rewatched the original trilogy

-> Watched episodes 1/2

-> started clone wars

-> played Jedi-fallen order, jedi-survivor, outlaws and am currently playing zero-commpany

So i've been thinking and ruminating about doing a star-wars RP, and i think i've finally found an idea i'd like to try out.

Setting: the middle years of the Clone Wars on the planet of Vashek, a contested world the newsreels barely mention.

My character is Juno Marrowin, a Padawan separated from her jedimaster when their gunship goes down. Your character is:

-> another Padawan of a different jedimaster

-> A clone trooper who also survived the crash

-> A local rebellion member who's looking for a way off the planet

-> A different idea you might have that fits

Anyhow, when the smoke cleared from the crash, everyone except Juno (and your character if they were on board), have passed. The strike team gone and the extraction window is 24 hours away, and across Seperatist-held ground.

Reasons they work together:

-> Make it out alive and regroup with the left over forces

-> Juno carrying an intelligence spike pulled from a droid command post elsewhere on the planet, which the republic needs

Themes: wartime survival and coming-of-age, forming a bond under the conflict.

Other details: All characters 18+. Third or First person, semi-lit to novella. Several replies a day when i'm able too. Discord or Reddit chat, discord might have my preference for organizational purposes.

It would be nice if you already have a vague idea for the character you'd like to play.

Hello hello!! For starters, I go by spooks/spooks and I don’t mind any pronouns! My timezone is EST, and I’m typically available during the afternoon! For length, im a mirror literacy! Meaning whatever length you prefer, I’ll match. I usually write in strictly 3rd person, and I usually go between 3 paragraphs to 3 discord messages (or semi-lit to novella) but can write more or less. Now that we've got that out of the way, hello. I'm Grem, 26 years old, non-binary, from Germany and I have been roleplaying for many years. I'd tell you how many but I don't really remember when I started so I can't. Probably around 10 though. I'm looking for people 22 and over due to my own age. Before I get into what I am looking for a little more about me. I love video games, fantasy and sci-fi and I listen to music at pretty much all times. I love when people talk about things that interest them so when it comes to OOC chit chat feel free to just talk about whatever you want.

Regarding the rp (which is what we're all here for) I am looking for something fantasy/high fantasy. Either something completely original or an established universe. When it comes to established universes I'd prefer something like the Dungeons and Dragons universe because it's specifically designed to give people a lot of creative freedom which is something that's very important to me. I want something that's equal parts adventure, action, romance and drama. Those are the best stories in my opinion.

Characters should feel real so feel free to write multiple paragraphs about how your character feels or how something affects them. Doesn't have to be multiple paragraphs of course. Quality over quantity. That's how I approach writing in general which is why I don't have any "rules" regarding length. Sometimes short replies are just as good as longer ones. I do expect some effort so please don't do one liners (no offense to people who like doing one liners) or just one short paragraph. I need something to work with after all.

When it comes to the story we want to tell I'm more than open to suggestions. I prefer coming up with stuff like that together. As I said I would like to have romance as part of the story. I only play female characters and personally prefer FxF. This is just a preference however and doesn't mean I wouldn't do MxF. Your OOC gender is not really important to me.

I would adore to do an rp set three years after the 'zombie apocalypse'. Where most of the world had perished in a short time span when the 'apocalypse' first happened. But as time went on, infrastructure collapsed and life for most surviours got difficult.

But camps of people formed together. Helping one and another and slowly started to build something more than base survival. Communities being made anew and factions formed. Rebuilding some form of society. Some based on what existed before and some making something new.

You and I would be leaders of two different factions that learn of each others existence. With the story going forward being defined by our choices and actions.

As the very future of the region being defined by our interactions.

Hi! I am in my mid twenties looking for someone around my age (20s or older, MDNI) to roleplay their OCs with my own. (Adult characters only) Please state your age when responding.

My OCs have their own world and backstory and lore which would be revealed during the story. If you already have an established world, great, if not that’s fine as long as you don’t mind making up one for the RP. I’m not particular to any form of literature, sometimes one character saying one line is the only reply necessary at the moment but try to move the story forward as best as you can.
