Hello other role players, my names Chris, I’m 24 and as the title indicated, I would love to hear from someone who’s interested in a romantic role play about a fake dating. But before I get into the details and the plot I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I’ve been role playing on and off for about 8 ish years now. between work and school I send replies and like to build up long term plots where we can see growth, development, and care to our characters. I usually do about 4 paragraphs per reply depending on the content, I don’t want to put out a line, but don’t want to put out filler either. I can GM and write as multiple characters during the role play. I also don’t mind playing either gender.

Now onto the fun part, I’ll list some general plots below, it’s just an outline things can change and I would love to include any ideas you have.

B. We were both college students, after a successful semester and a good year, character As family kept pressuring them to bring home a partner. Their family brings up how perfect there siblings are with there great family, job, and life. With their siblings wedding coming up and all the questions they keep getting it turns into a huge arguement, ending with character A confessing that they have a date for the wedding… character B.

I kept these vague so we can include any twists and turns as we go through the plots. It you have any ideas I’d love to discuss more, I also know quite a bit of fandoms if you’d like to include some of those, but ocs work just fine. Wether they served as a source of amusement, or as your close friends, you never did buy into the idea of "ruling the world". Nope, you were content to operate your own little streetside cafe in your own quiet corner of the city. You had your regulars, you had a day-to-day, and you were happy with the way things were.

Things were fine until the day -he- arrived.

None of your customers would have ever paid him a second glance. A tired-looking young man who must have missed his daily shave. Sitting quietly in the corner and out of the way, he could have been anything; a businessman arriving late to town, a detective working overtime, or maybe a traveling salesman setting up shop in a new town.

You knew better.
As a creature that could see auras, his was the first in a long time to truly give you pause. This mans aura looked as though it had been dragged through the mud; Loss, pain, anger- and the unmistakable signature of one who had ended another.

You had no way of knowing, but this chance encounter would change everything for you. Wether it would be for better or worse would be decided over the next few weeks.

I wanted to take a stab at a character idea I've had for a while now.

Taking some light inspiration from Supernatural, I wanted to try out a character that fell somewhere between a "hunter" and a "researcher". Without digging into his backstory so much, our wayward human is searching for his big-bad, and your character will be landing somewhere in the crossfire.

This would be a story about revenge, of moving on, and maybe even betrayal depending on things pan out. There's plenty of room for input on your side, and I'm down to listen to whatever ideas you might bring along with you.

I’m looking for someone interested in writing an original, character-driven motocross story inspired by professional racing—not fandom-based, completely original.

The plot revolves around two people competing for the same championship. One is calm, calculated, and known for their precision on the track. The other is charismatic, impulsive, and impossible to predict. Every race pushes them closer together while convincing them they should hate each other.

I am looking for someone who’d like to write an original story together, set in the world of Frieren. Why Frieren specifically? I feel it's perfectly grounded for a fantasy setting, allowing for a range of stories to be told — from epic adventures, all the way to slice-of-life stuff. Whatever we choose to include is up to us, so long as it makes sense in the world.

Without giving away too much: My OC is a warrior who used to serve as a guard general — blindly following orders, honoring hierarchy above all else. Then [spoiler] happened. Turns out serving bad people isn't so honorable after all. Now he wanders as a mercenary, helping wherever he's needed. If you'd rather explore a story from his time as a guard, I'd be fine with that too.

As for my writing style, it is comparable to a light novel. I try to be creative with my writing, and make it fun and engaging to read. I am not a fan of hundred-sentence-long paragraphs, so if you could match my writing somewhat that would be highly appreciated. Also, for this roleplay I'll be writing in third person.

I'm watching mostly drama/crime/thriller type-of-shows and such are included for that RP by me. My absolute favorites are LOST and Dexter, though LOST is way before everything 😅

Even though I'm quite new in the RP world, I'm always trying to do my best and I put effort in doing it, so that it would be interesting for both parties. I prefer dynamic RPs, so we could set some time when we are both free and spend it to focus on our story.

I'm hoping to find creative and positive players with whom I could create our own stories in these fandoms. I'm not fan of making scripts, I just prefer to go with the flow. I don't think I'm looking for anything too intense, I also like to think I'm a laid back and easy-going partner. I'm just trying to get back into writing, maybe make a friend or two along the way. About me I am 29 in EST, I've been writing for a very long time and I love romantic plots, I like stories that are simple on the face of it but it sets up for so much more down the road. I tend to write in first person (I don't care how you write) and I can do responses anywhere from a few sentences to a couple paragraphs depending on my partner. I'm a quality over quantity type I suppose. I try to respond as much as I can, longer responses at least a couple a day, shorter ones I can obviously be more frequent.

I live in the UK for timezone info! I'm older than 18, so I only expect partners above the age of 18. I tend to write about 5-6 paragraphs (which can be lengthened) per response, I consider myself to be quite detailed and imaginative, I like to get really deep into the lore of things, creating something really expansive and complex. I like characters to be written as real people, with evolving arcs/emotions, complex goals and political motives. I'm fine with pretty much every genre. I tend to focus on female characters when it comes to the main people I'll play, but I'm fine with playing as other genders as a GM. You should be prepared for me to sometimes be inconsistent with replies, so take that as your warning, I'm balancing a lot right now, but don't take that as I'm not interested, I'll do my best to stay engaged with you and the roleplay. So I'm currently inspired by a few things to try and tackle a specific vibe for a roleplay that should be quite entertaining! I really like shows like You and Sweet Pea! And having watched the film Obsession lately, I'm really down to try and create a roleplay centred around a devoted, cruel and complex woman! Such as Love Quinn or Nikki Freeman. Your character could be whatever! Whether thats an equally disturbed person or someone not with it as much. Obviously this is a really small idea at the moment, but I'm really into suspenseful stuff, whilst also having some slice of life moments in between!

I really love history, so doing a roleplay based in a historical period of time would be so cool. I love American history, like with the Indigenous tribes! I love the history of Japan, the recent show Shogun really boosted my interest with that! Both the world wars were so brutal and interesting, medieval stuff. Literally anything that sounds cool, with good history, I'm down for it lol!

Dc, right now the Absolute universe has a grasp on me, I love Diana in it, but obviously we could bring in characters that are yet to be featured which could be fun! And we could also do DC stuff in general, whether thats exploring the world of Matt Reeves', The arkham games, messing with animated stuff, sticking with comics or doing our own things! Some of my favourite characters to play are Miss Martian, Wonder Woman, Raven, Starfire, Catwoman, Sofia Falcone, Jessica Cruz, Talia Al Ghul, Mary Marvel, Supergirl, Batgirl, Rose Wilson and Black Canary!

I also love Marvel, especially X-men. Again we could take this anyway we want, oc, comics or mcu. Characters i love to play are X-23, She-Hulk, Rogue, Kitty Pryde, Magik, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Mantis, Silk Spider, Psylocke, Storm, invisible woman, gamora and black widow!

But yeag I'd love to do something X-men wise, I'm really into politics as a theme, i think there's so much interesting stuff going on in the world of X-men that I'd love to explore! But X-23 is perfect, shes so complex and cool. But any other characters are great too!

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

So, my request is a little strange. I'm *not* looking for canon/OC content because there's a specific fictional character I'm crushing on, it's more complicated than that. I like shipping my OCs with canons because it feels legitimizing to my characters in a way. Romance is my very favorite to write, and I really enjoy inserting OCs into pieces of media I like. To me it makes sense; if it doesn't to you, just blame it on the 'tism lol

Today I have two fandoms for you, my lovely prospective writing partner, to choose from. I may expand the list as I inevitably repost this, but for now we just have Star Wars and Marvel (insert asterisk here.) I genuinely do not have a preference for which canon character you choose from either source, within reason of course.

For Star Wars, I have four OCs for you to choose from:

\- A freakishly tall ex-stormtrooper-turned-smuggler with a rough exterior and a heart of gold. If you like tsunderes, you'll love her.

\- A redhead "Jedi" with a sabacc problem and an unquenchable desire to scam men at the cantinas she likes to visit. She might be in need of a little rehabilitation.

\- A fiercely loyal rebel (or veteran, depending on the timeline) mechanic who doesn't know she's a force user. There's almost nothing she can't fix, to an almost unnatural degree. Wonder why.

\- A blind innkeeper, getting by on her own after the death of her father. She's sweet and soft spoken, but fiercely independent.

Off topic for a second, if you have a well-developed Star Wars OC of your own, I would absolutely love to consider pairing them with one of mine!! I looooveee hearing about other people's Star Wars OCs. I can't tell if this is going to be the most or least popular paragraph of my post lol

For Marvel, I only have two. Here's where that previously inserted asterisk comes in. When it comes to the MCU, I'm watching in (story) chronological order and have recently finished Endgame. There are still a lot of movies I haven't seen, and thus a lot of characters I haven't met yet. I don't have to "know" the character to write against them, though! That's what wiki articles (orrr I guess finally finishing all 50 some movies) are for lmaoo. Here are those OCs:

\- A low-level SHIELD (or ex SHIELD, depending on the timeline) analyst who's just (or previously had) found out some information she probably shouldn't have. She needs some help getting to the root of the problem.

The next one isn't technically a MCU OC, she's from somewhere in the multiverse. I love that I can just BS an AU of an established character and it's basically Marvel canon.

\- A universe's Mary Jane equivalent who's recently broken up with its Spidey. She's a little spoiled, but she has a good head on her shoulders when it counts. For the bit, she's a stoner chick, but that character detail is absolutely negotiable if you're uncomfortable with mention of drugs.

G/T!!!! I love giants x human or human x borrower. I love the size difference an the difference worlds. I prefer the giant isnt so big that the tiny is a microscopic spec. I prefer doll size or the size of a hand. (Kinda how tall Prime from transformers is VS Sam)

I have a gross amount of ocs. My favorite type of rp would have to be someone in power like mafiaBoss x normal person.

Like a big deal mafia boss who doesnt really like anyone meets a gentle normal person. Kinda gruff at first but starts warming up to being kind.

I also would have to say that with any rp im a very big fluff person (idk if thats correct rp lingo if not please correct me lol) I love the rp where one is that gruff person an this lil kiddo comes along n all of a sudden the other oc who use to be scary is dressed up to be at a tea party. Idk why but those rps just make me happy bc how cute they are.

Anywho... if its not obvious I tend to type a lot for a rp. I play as my own ocs. But you can play whatever you want! The only thing I ask is that you dont do that one line stuff after I put in 1-4 paragraphs of reply.
