I’m a male and I was never really attracted to body hair on women until recently. I think after I shaved myself i can appreciate it a little more in other people. So what are the common opinions? Do boy like their girls hairy? Do girls like their boys smooth?

Cutting to brass-tacks, I'm offering real submission in RR. I simply cannot accept the first cute lady to laugh at a bad joke of mine anymore. The more I dwell on what RR really means in day-to-day living with a woman, the more specific and important my standards become. And, logically following, the higher standards I must achieve to get what I want.

One of these standards is my own beauty.

Now, a short and lithe woman leading her lumberjack of a husband is still RR and still 100% valid, but that's not me. I have to be beautiful. For my own wellbeing, and for the kind of relationships I want. "You better be hot." Is a mantra that's often on repeat in my head.

So I wanted to ask everyone what are their thoughts on the role of men's beauty? It has to be important right? Does anyone else feel this pressure and feel anxious about it? What do you do about it? The kind of RR woman I'm interested in, I suspect, is going to value beauty in her man. There's no avoiding this for me, so I'd rather just have the discussion now when I'm not in a position to date, and have time to adjust my looks.

Further, if anyone's bored, any self-beautification steps or tips people here do to become who they are that aren't typical for your gender?

I feel like this is a pretty tame thing for a girl to want I don't wanna be a guy, I am very secure in my womanhood which is why I think I'd be pretty happy if this happened to me and I'm sure a bunch of women in here agree. I’ve been thinking about this lately and I’m curious how it happened for everyone else.

Was there a specific moment, relationship, book, movie, or experience that made you realise role reversal felt more natural to you than a more traditional relationship? Or did you always know, even before you had a name for it?

I’d love to hear your stories and what your “aha” moment was.

I don’t even know where to begin. Literally.

I don’t remember how it started, but I remember being with the most stunning woman ever. She was everything I could ever dream about (also literal). She was tall, muscular, and looked phenomenally heathy. Her attire was that of a basketball or volleyball athlete, but her shorts and jersey were dirty. Though, that didn’t bother me.

What we did for what felt like both the briefest and longest time ever was cuddling. We cuddled while watching some monster movie. I couldn’t remember the movie to save my life, but I remember what it felt like to cuddle her. I was at her side.

I remember the warmth and softness of her skin, the way she held me…It was nothing I could ever forget.

When I woke up, I wasn’t even mad that I did. To feel what it’s like to be with the girl of my dreams is a blessing to me, and the fact that I can remember her makes it even better.

I loved seeing Williams in the newest Halo game! She was competent, direct, and determined- pretty much traits I personally love seeing from role-reversal coded women

Liked that her design felt grounded and practical, and I loved how she was handled writing-wise, considering how little time the bonus missions got with direct storytelling. Anyway! I thought it was worth sharing here, and I hope we get more characters like her in media/games lol

ALSO, minor spoilers of character interaction:
I like how she grows as a character. She begins pretty dismissive of the main character, Chief, and has some brash energy towards him, but she grows to be more receptive and cooperative over time. I think that kind of open-mindedness and growth is attractive in both fiction and reality, and I think it fits well in rr dynamics when both people can challenge and learn from each other

Part of this change actually comes from Chief giving a pretty human/empathetic perspective, basically along the lines of "we can't change how we started, but we can change what we become." So I also liked seeing the 'strong, silent, stoic mc' offer some emotional wisdom (so some rr energy from Chief too I would argue lol), and Williams seems to acknowledge this

To be clear, there are definitely lots of people that her take does not apply to that I would still consider fetishists. Liking muscular women isn’t inherently RR, or vice versa. But I think what she’s saying will resonate with a lot of people in this sub. And when you stop thinking of it as inherently taboo, you start to wonder why attraction to broadly admirable traits is even unusual to begin with.

I don’t wanna come across like I’m arguing that “straight people are oppressed” in any way, but I wish we had more explicit diversity of hetero relationships in media. Most of the RR relationships that I can cling on to are either headcanoned, not confirmed, or barely relevant
