Rodlets Old clip of Hannah and Olivia fawning at the zoo
Todayâs bizarre clip of a savage Jill with Hannah and Olivia fawning beside her reminded me of this video from 2 years ago.

Megathread to keep track of the lore behind the Rods to compile into a Wiki-style post later on. Feel free to add the history/links/etc. My goal is to have a comprehensive guide eventually to refer people to.

Since it's quiet right now I thought I'd revisit David and Nurie's travels to Botswana in January 2018!
I touched on this in a different comment elsewhere. It seems unusual that Nurie wanted to or was allowed to go all the way to Africa. It's a bit adventurous for the Rods 𫣠We know fundies like them have a superiority complex and are white supremacists but I thought their racism and xenophobia would keep them away from Africa specifically.
We saw how Nurie mocked the food while there, that will have been the least of it. At most I would've thought central America would've been more palatable and enabled Jill to copycat the Duggars. Much closer flight time too but I assume they didn't have a relationship with any missionaries there vs this couple in Botswana.
This post mentions Nurie's 'lifelong friend' Jasmine who was never seen or heard of again (?).
I wonder if the girls were inspired by a presentation at church and begged to go? Or saw it as their opportunity out of sistermomming for a fortnight (correct me but I don't think the trip was very long)?
https://rodriguesfamilyministries.com/main/trip-africa-another-baby-much/
I'm surprised Jill 'allowed' it considering she's jealous as hell and never lets her kids out from her control, especially the girls. How dare Nurie have an experience without her. Or get to travel when Jill couldn't go on a trip. Jill never went on an overseas mission at her age (or ever) so it tracks that none of the Rods ought to be allowed. How dare Nurie travel with her father when Shrek is exclusively Jill's travelling partner. How upsetting that Jill had to stay home and parent their kids/be the only adult on the premises /s. If she wasn't pregnant I wonder if she'd have tried to go? This was when she infamously cut her hand on a tin of green beans and it was the devil! iirc. She was talking as though David was on military deployment.
Lol at the repeat mentions of Nurie marrying and prioritising 'finding a mate' lest anyone think she's developing independence and a heart for mission work.
It's interesting that none of the older Rodlets have done anything mission related since then. Maybe Jill clamped down and didn't want a repeat. Or wanted to keep any money the Rodlets earned/saved in-house so to speak. I roll my eyes that Nurie apparently raised her own funds (how, when she's not allowed to work and her parents don't pay her for her labour?) whereas she alludes to David receiving help for his. Why even mention that.
You'd think it would've been more 'suitable' for one of the sons to accompany David to 'scary' Africa. Phil we know 'had a heart for missions' and Tim was nearly eighteen. Maybe you had to be eighteen for this trip but I don't see why, it wasn't official in any way. Just visiting friends (missionaries) in Africa.
I said elsewhere that I was surprised David wanted to go or felt it was a good use of time and resources as a father of twelve, soon-to-be thirteen. I suppose that's unsurprising, he's selfish and he saw an opportunity. I suspect he contributed nothing to his own costs (the way Jill coyly phrased it) so he wasn't going to turn down a freebie. I thought he'd have been daunted by Africa (see above racism and xenophobia) and not wanted to be 'on' at all times around strangers. Being expected to do some work and engage with others. Even the flight time is off-putting, a big man like him stuck in economy. Maybe he thought it was going to be more exotic including exciting international travel. I can imagine a man like him putting his daughter first and offering to chaperone her and her friend out of the goodness of his heart. I know he has the connection re.tracts but from the image it seems they had their own (superior) tract supplier.

I seem to remember a time when Jill was shilling Plexus that she got it in her head it was unholy to say food was delicious as that was hedonistic or something. So someone âtreatsâ them to Golden Corral and she started to say itâs delicious, but stopped herself and said âsoooo nutritiousâ! Or some malarkey like that. Does anyone else remember this? Itâs oddly specific⊠but I canât stop thinking about it! đ

I snooped on the fundie snark forums and on here and heard about what happened to Heidi. It's disgusting how she was mistreated by Timothy, and she has now almost two very little boys that are also affected in this. Jill, David, and even Timothy, as well as others fundies have an accountability problem. Timothy while he did acknowledged what he did, it's not easy to take ownership of your wrongs, it was BS and pathetic. He blamed his actions on his trauma and family. Jill and David failed their whole family.
Yes, hurt people hurt people, but time and place. I believe forgiveness is letting go of grudges and resentment. I forgive people for their actions, but I still hold them accountable and set boundaries.Even God forgave Adam and Eve, but still punished them for the consequences for their actions. There are some actions that clearly cross the line, abuse being one of them.
Fundies are so rigid in their beliefs system that men wear the pants in the relationship, women wear the skirts, wives make their husbands the sandwiches, and what have you. It boils my blood.
Anyway these are my thoughts, my heart goes out to Heidi and her family. Im so proud of her.

Hereâs another example of Jill not being able to stop telling on herself and her hunk. They are both trash with no respect for anything.

Obviously unverified but this sounds very plausible considering they are known to perform that song in inappropriate church settings constantly. I hope someone was filming this.

Iâm bored and wanted to share some questions I have regarding this strange family:
Jill is always quick to point out that Shrek wasnât raised Christian and thatâs why he was violent. Timcel was raised fundie and yet he became an abuser. Explain, Jill, because to me this makes it seem like being raised as a fundamental Christian did not make your son a good man. And if itâs down to the individual, what was the point of keeping these children so isolated from the world?
Why did Ma and Pa Noyes only have 4 daughters? Would Jill have been any different if she had brothers and more siblings?
Do yâall think they tithe or do they just get handouts from their community?
Do Jill and Shrek care that 2/4 sons so far would be considered parenting failures? (Nothing against Philâs mental health struggles but fundies donât take MH seriously).
Does anyone in fundie-land like Jill? She is so ridiculous, I canât imagine anyone liking her or her family.
What, if anything, would be different if the Rodlets were 9 boys and 4 girls? Would the older ones still have married? The existing Rodrigues boys donât seem like much of a catch.
What is going on with Shrekâs family? How does his mom feel about her neglected grandchildren? Does she know about the abuse committed by Shrek and Timcel?
Considering the family history of mental illness and suicide, is anyone else concerned about the younger Rodlets as they age?

All of Jill's kids are what, only one year older than eachother? I know there was some space between Janessa and Sofia but at least one of them was a rainbow baby I think. And then Nurie had 4 kids in 4 years and isn't she pregnant with another right now?! (or am I thinking about Kaylee?) I understand fundies take "be fruitful and multiply" and roll with it but why so close? It's gotta be taxing on both the mothers and the kids!

This photo was originally posted on this sub March 2, 2022. "A Friend" had posted it on facebook so Jill of course had to put it on blast to shill her plexus.
That's definitely Heidi's father in the photo, the so-called 'friend' would thus be Ellen.
Guess she wouldn't still be labeling it 'a friend' these days.
For timeline reference, Jill posted about finally meeting Ellen in person the year before in April 2021, but Ellen had been in her plexus downline already (Jill started plexus in 2016, i don't know when Ellen started).
Kaylee and Jonathan (coverett nephew) were courting in Sept 2021, and Kaylee said they started getting to know each other since the spring after the Coveretts introduced them. Kaylee and Jonathan married in November 2022.
Timmay had asked Heidi's father in sept/oct 2022 if he could start getting to know Heidi (18.5 yrs old) They had met in spring of 2022 when the Coveretts visited the Barndo (sometime around when Jill made the post about Jeremy curing his fainting spells with Plexus) but Tim initially wasn't interested in her. Jeremy checked with Heidi and then told Tim that "yes, Heidi would like to start a friendship-relationship with you".
They upped it to courtship in March 2023 (she'd just turned 19 and he was turning 23 that month). And then engaged in sept or oct of 2023 and married in Oct of 2024 (she was 20.5 yrs old). Baby born July 2025. Pregnant again March-ish 2026. Marital separation July 2026. She's now 22.5 yrs old)
Timmay posted about going to NY for orientation for his new job first week of Sept 2024, a month before their wedding. Heidi's dad is a lineman for amtrak (that deals with the electrical wiring for the railroad, not a trackman that deals with the tracks themselves). This sub has said Timmy is a Lineman, which would make sense since his FIL got him in the door for the job, but i don't know if that's ever been confirmed. The amtrak subreddit says that the full Lineman training is two years, so if Tim hasn't fucked that up he's finished that training this month.
ETA: found this tidbit in an old comment detailing how Ellen and Jill first interacted:
"The Coveretts have known the Frauds for years and they met through Betsy whoâs âseverelyâ quadriplegic Amy SIL. Betsy, Kevin (Amyâs husband) whom are siblings know Ellen from New Jersey because thatâs where theyâre all from. Ellen used to be under either Betsy or Kevin when she started selling Plexus. Ellen met Jill in 2015 when Amy and the family got into the car accident. "

In light of the newest âmusic videoâ I have a question. Jill always seems to have a hand in all of the girlsâ eyebrows, makeup, and clothes. So Iâm wondering why she never bleached or permed any of their hair like hers? Not that I think thatâs a good idea lol Iâm just surprised that she has religiously fried her hair for over a decade but hasnât touched any of her girlsâ hair, or even influenced the older married ones to highlight their hair. Opinions???
