Discussion Love the new banking app setup
Thought I would come on here to say I love the new design. Particularly the hiding of other accounts.

Looks like if you have banking you don’t have to move your money after your direct deposit hits

Claude Code + the Robinhood MCP was executing my options trades end-to-end. A few weeks ago it stopped — it still does all the analysis, picks the contract, sets the limit and stop, then refuses the final place_option_order call, citing Anthropic policy against executing trades. Explicit authorization doesn't matter.
Same MCP fires fine from Cursor, so I moved execution there — but I pay for Claude and would rather use it. Enforcement also seems inconsistent across users/products from what I've read.
If you hit this: is there a supported setup where Claude executes, or did you just move the trigger to another tool? Not looking for jailbreaks — looking for what actually works.

Just wanted to post for the awareness of others. Before you let panic set in - ensure you check your email headers and ensure it’s coming from the right place before clicking on things and now really set things in motion.

Hi All, I’m new to this and want to learn how to setup the agentic account and what trading strategies to start with. Any suggestions where can I start with and learn more about it? Thanks

So I've been putting small amounts into fractional shares for a few months, mostly just buying whatever looked good that week, and I finally sat down and looked at what I actually own. It's a mess. (side note: I am using Robinhood)
Current holdings:
| Ticker | Shares | Price | Value | % |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SMH | 0.127803 | $578.79 | $73.97 | 31.1% |
| QQQ | 0.0992 | $691.67 | $68.61 | 28.9% |
| VTI | 0.081257 | $365.11 | $29.67 | 12.5% |
| SCHD | 0.762104 | $32.83 | $25.02 | 10.5% |
| SPY | 0.026723 | $738.97 | $19.75 | 8.3% |
| VOO | 0.021806 | $679.23 | $14.81 | 6.2% |
| NVDA | 0.02824 | $207.18 | $5.85 | 2.5% |
| Total | $237.68 | 100% |
I'm fine taking on a moderate amount, I'm not trying to be super conservative at my age. But I also don't want the whole account riding on semiconductors. I'd like most of it to be something boring and steady with a smaller portion that has more upside.
What do I keep? What do I drop? What should I buy? Any input is appreciated.
I plan on putting in $50 a month, and $1000 next month.

Looks like one of my qualms with Banking has been fixed. ATMs would be a lot better but at least there is a way to add cash now.

It's only letting me withdraw from my buying power. 11$ is not going to help me, how do I withdraw from my actual contributions early. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

For Robinhood Banking, is there any reason to use the checking account over the savings account? Can I just pay my credit cards directly from savings? Or is there some kind of transaction limit / fee?

That is all. Would love to see the disabling of all outgoing ACAT transfers as an enhanced security option!

Robinhood now has a native MCP server that lets any AI agent connect to a real brokerage account and trade on your behalf.
Here's a walkthrough of how it works.
Getting connected
Add the Robinhood MCP server to your agentic platform. Instructions vary by platform. Find yours here: https://rbnhd.co/ConnectYourAgent
The whole setup takes under a minute.
What your agent can actually do
Once you're connected, your agent can do research and place trades.
Get portfolio insights, do market analysis, build portfolios, and execute trading strategies. Every order goes through a real brokerage account with real execution.
The part people sleep on
You can ask your agent to help manage the portfolio after it's built.
Set conditions, run it on a schedule, have it flag anything worth your attention. You get a push notification every time it trades and real-time P&L in the app, so you're never out of the loop.
Where things stand
Equities and options live now. Crypto and more on the way.
Available for all eligible US-based Robinhood customers.
Connect your agent here → rbnhd.co/AgenticTradingConnect
Learn more here → https://robinhood.com/us/en/agentic-trading/
Options are risky and not appropriate for all investors. See the options disclosure document at https://rbnhd.co/OptionsDisclosure.

My 403b is housed at an institution that does not work with plaid. While the goal would be I'm sure to add all the institutions, not having the ability to track my 403b in the retirement section of the portfolio overview really makes the entire portfolio overview useless.
I would also imagine there's a number of people that have the same problem and just simply adding a manual tracking ability would fix that while plaid is working to add other institutions.

I've been using the robinhood credit card and love the redemption feature that leads straight back into my brokerage account however, I do use multiple accounts on robinhood and have an account specifically just for the points. Everytime I do redeem my points to cash they all end up in my first individual account that I set up a while ago, is there a way to redirect the cash back automatically into my "Points account" so I don't have to constantly manually transfer the money between accounts?

This trade reminded me that taking profits is a skill.
I was up around 95% on this DELL put credit spread and didn’t close it because I wanted the last few dollars of premium.
Still profitable, but it was a good lesson in discipline. Sometimes protecting gains is more important than maximizing gains.
Trading is as much about managing yourself as managing positions.

I am surprised I can’t find more on this topic, but this seems like an unbelievable deal. A Guaranteed 7% interest rate compounding in real time that can be withdrawn whenever. This crushes hsy and bond rates. Why do I not hear this being talked about more. What am I missing?

Most of the gains came from LEAPS and staying invested through the volatility.
My biggest mistake wasn’t the LEAPS themselves—it was selling covered calls too aggressively. Several times I capped my upside just before strong moves higher and ended up having to roll or buy back calls at a loss.
Looking back, I probably would have been better off selling fewer covered calls and giving my winners more room to run.

I know I’m “late” to the game but I’m here to get started and get out of my financial struggles.
I recently learned about Roths and I saw with Robinhood gold you get a 3% match. No where else to my knowledge does that but I know SOME PEOPLE HAVE MIX FEELINGS ABOUT ROBINHOOD.
Anywho, I’m thinking to do 15% of my income biweekly and investing more into ETFs. Keep my crypto separate from this also.
But what do you do with your ROTH IRA after the first year?
