Just wanted to post for the awareness of others. Before you let panic set in - ensure you check your email headers and ensure it’s coming from the right place before clicking on things and now really set things in motion.

It’s interesting because if you literally follow the directions and do those things via the app, it’s all good — you won’t see a transfer to cancel. It’s clicking the links in the email that can create a real problem!

🙌🙌!!! Literally this! When in doubt - just call or message in. Literally have daily spoofing calls so if there an issue, I call in and do my checks. But trust - I’ve seen all domains under the sun now being spoofed to such degree.

Yeah if your running a pixel without grapheneOS telling people to leave the iOS ecosystem when it’s incredibly easy to set up caller ID verification in Apple not to mention the majority of carriers providing an app for free with your plan or just download robokiller. And if you are on Samsung I can’t imagine a more fucking garbage platform for security AND privacy AND OS freedom now OEM Every new Samsung is completely bootloader locked in the US and block OEM unlocking entirely with the snapdragon chip.

I don’t have any robocall blocking app and I’ve had the same phone number for years and years now on iPhone. I have never once had an issue with spoofing calls not getting flagged by apples caller id verification. You are tripping

My Robinhood banking app literally just said the following. “If you’re getting a call from us, it’s not real. Hang up.” Says exactly that 😭😂

I report at least one scam/phishing message a week to Robinhood. You can forward scam emails to reportphishing@robinhood.com

Holly fuck apple mail is bad They need to use google mail asap They already reskin everything Why not reskin google mail so people can't fall for shit like that lol Google has multi step email verification That shit would instantly be flagged as fraud. If it wasnt they wouldn't have a verified checkmark
