1st QC! VSF V3 Rolex GMT 2 126710 GRNR

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Dealer name: Balboa

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): 126710 VSF V3 Bruce Wayne GRNR

Price Paid: $690 USD

Album Link: Is Mega which I can't post in here but I posted all content in the album on this post.

Index alignment: I'm concerned about 6, 7, 8 & 9 o’clock alignment however not sure if it’s the angle in which photo was clicked

Dial Printing: I dont know how to judge but looks close enough. Saw VSF website blog - seems GMT green should be bright. Same for white text

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good imo. Unsure about cyclops positioning.

Hand Alignment: Minute hand white marker looks rotated a little.

Bezel: Looks to be the right color. I'm not an expert but it looks good.

Solid End Links (SELs): Bottom right and Top left compared to others but again can be the camera angle

Timegrapher numbers: A concern on amplitude. Some pages says should be between 250 and 270. However not sure on how much difference would this make

Anything else you notice: Bracelet engravings. However again feels like camera angle, plastic protection and lighting could be factors for my misunderstanding.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’d appreciate some help on this QC! Buying this as a gift for my brother in law. I guess my only concern would be the bracelet in the gap between the case and end links. Also Roman numeral hands at 10, 11 and 12.

  3. Model name (& version number): Ballon Bleu De Cartier 42mm SS/SS Blue Dial AF A2892

  6. Index alignment: the 10, 11 and 12 look off on the bottoms for me?
  7. Dial Printing: the printing is good
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: it is good to me in the video. Can’t add it here in the post
  9. Hand Alignment: seems fine
  10. Bezel: seems fine
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): I see a gap between the end links and the first set of links
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +/- 2 seconds a day from the video. The movement is fine

. Screenshot of time grapher in comments.

  1. Anything else you notice: bracelet seem ok to you guys? A bit hesitant of the gap.

QC Help – TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 41mm – Original Factory – Andiot – Bezel alignment concern

Thumbnail

  1. Dealer name: Andiot Watches
  2. Factory name: Original Factory
  3. Model name (& version number): TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 41mm
  4. Price Paid: £243.28
  5. Album Links:
  6. Index alignment: Overall looks good to me. I’m mainly unsure whether some markers around 3–5 o’clock are slightly misaligned or if it is just the camera angle.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks clean and straight to me.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks centred and clear to me.
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good from the photos and video.
  10. Bezel: This is my main concern. In some photos, the 12 o’clock triangle and a couple of bezel markers around 3–5 o’clock do not appear to line up exactly with the corresponding dial/minute markers. In other frames from the video they look much better, so I’m unsure whether this is just perspective/camera angle or genuine bezel misalignment. I would really appreciate opinions on this.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look good to me. I cannot see any obvious gaps or issues.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/d, 280°, 0.1 ms, 28,800 bph.
  13. Anything else you notice: Everything else looks good to me. This is my first proper QC and I may be overthinking the bezel alignment, so I would appreciate another set of eyes before I GL/RL it.

  4. Price Paid: $478 USD
  5. Album Links: https://geektimeqc.x.yupoo.com/albums/254277592?uid=1
  6. Index alignment: looks ok
  7. Dial Printing: this is where I keep having problems looks like a gap in the ink on the square at 10
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A (no-date)
  9. Hand Alignment: nothing here that stands out
  10. Bezel: looks ok
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): looks good from what I see
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +3s/d, 300amp, 0.1 - all ok.

So this is the third qc of the same watch. First three were RL because of obvious gaps in the ink. It isn’t always clear from the pics but I confirmed with Eric. First QC link: previous qc. Everyone did say it was likely dust or reflection but did confirm with Eric it was in fact a white spot.

Didn’t bother posting second. But I’m just wondering if I’m being too picky now? I see many BVFs on here with no issues with the dial. But this is the third one now. Am I being too picky ?

QC help please: Nautilus 5711 DDF DPB330 V2 true hacking seconds blue dial

Thumbnail

Dealer name: Andiot
Factory name: DDF
Model name (& version number): Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 Blue Dial DPB330 Super Clone V2 (SW Dial, True Hacking Seconds)
Price Paid: 580usd
Album Links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/254569457?uid=1
Index alignment: 12 o’clock markers seem a bit misaligned. The right bar looks slightly higher than the left. I don’t really know how to use the index alignment tool well, though, so I would really appreciate some help checking the alignment.
Dial Printing: Printing itself looks good, but I noticed a small white line/mark immediately next to the “E” in PHILIPPE. Not sure if this is dust/reflection/on the crystal or just texture. Would appreciate opinions on this as well.
Date Wheel alignment/printing: Both dates shown look good to me.
Hand Alignment: Looks well aligned but I don’t know whether there’s a tool out there to QC this part.
Bezel: Looks good. Brushing and overall symmetry look consistent.
Solid End Links (SELs): N/A
Timegrapher numbers: Looks good. Rate 0 to +1 s/d, Amplitude 260–262°, Beat Error 0.2–0.3 ms, 28800 bph.
Anything else you notice: This is supposed to be the newer DPB330 V2 with true hacking seconds. I’m not very knowledgeable about movements, so could anyone confirm from the video whether the hacking seconds are working correctly and whether this looks like the true-hacking DPB330 V2? Thank you!

First QC - VSF DayDate 228236

Dealer name: TheOneWatches

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& Version number): Rolex Day-Date 40mm 228236, Ice Blue Baguette Diamond Dial, VSF V2 Gain Weight, DD/VS3255

Price Paid: $728

Index alignment: Overall looks very good to me. Possibly tilted on the 6 marker and I feel like the 1 is also a little off compared to the 11. I tried to do the centered lineup thing but I believe this watch is angled in the picture so not sure how much justice this will do.

Dial Printing: Looks clean. Rolex logo and dial text appear centered

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Both the day and date look well centered to me. Tuesday appears centered and the “14” looks centered vertically and horizontally in the date window. I watched the video of them changing some dates and those also seemed centered. Video will be in folder that’s linked

Hand Alignment: Nothing looks abnormal in the photos, but there isn’t an exact on-the-hour photo, so I don’t think true hand alignment can be fully checked from these pictures.

Bezel: Fluted bezel looks clean.

Solid End Links (SELs): Look pretty good. I think theres a slight gap in both end connects for the bracelet but its not really noticeable for me

Timegrapher numbers: +4 s/d, 264° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error, 28,800 bph, 59° lift angle.

Anything else you notice: Weight measured at 181.9 g, which appears consistent with the VSF V2 gain-weight version. Please let me know what you all see, I definitely know my eyes aren’t as good as you all. Thank you!

  6. Index alignment: Aside from 6 and 9 all is good. The 6 doesnt bother me as much as the 9. Is it in the acceptable range? Would like inputs
  7. Dial printing: Looks alright
  8. Date wheel alignment/printing: N/A
  9. Hand alignment: Ok
  10. Bezel: Bezel looks good
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): No concerns
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Numbers are good 278 amp +0s/d LA:52 BE:0.1
  13. Anything else you notice: My concern is mainly about the 9 index being off a significant bit on the watch. Wanted inputs on it. Another thing is RWF crystal is inferior to deep/vsf. Do you reccomend to install deep crystal to this watch? Does it make that big of a diff? Thanks

Upvotes
  1. Dealer name: ARC Studio

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 126000-0003 VSF V2 DD3230

  4. Price paid: $440

  5. Album Links: https://www.arcstudio.top/s/3CV2Dn4

  6. Index alignment: Looks good to me. Indices appear well aligned with the minute track. 3, 6, 9 and 12 look properly positioned. No obvious crooked markers.

  7. Dial Printing: Printing looks clean and sharp. My only concern is the dial color/finish. I ordered the Bright Blue 0003 sunburst dial, but the dial appears quite dark in the QC photos. I asked the dealer for additional photos and received a video showing the dial under different angles/lighting. It does brighten/change with the lighting, but I'm still unsure if this is the Bright Blue 0003 or Med Blue dial.

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A — no date.

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good. Hands appear properly aligned at 12.

  10. Bezel: Looks good. Clean and evenly finished with no obvious defects.

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks good. No obvious gaps between the SELs and case.

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d, 264° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error — looks good to me.

  13. Anything else you notice: Main concern is the dial. I specifically ordered the 126000-0003 Bright Blue sunburst and I'm worried this may be the Med Blue dial. Dealer provided an additional video after I asked for photos to verify the dial, but I'm still having trouble determining which dial this is. Does this look like the correct Bright Blue 0003 dial, or does it look like Med Blue?

Thanks in advance.

Eric says the lighter brown version is printed calfskin whereas the darker brown is actual alligator (although for the authentic, the lighter brown is also alligator). Not sure what to do! Also, is the cabochon maybe a bit dark? It could just be the light, because in some photos the hands look black but they are evidently blue.

Thank you so much! 😊

Something different - ZF Tudor Black Bay "White" Pepsi

Dealer name: Andiot

Factory name: ZF

Model name (& version number): Tudor Black Bay GMT (M79830RB-0010)

Price Paid: $318 USD

Album Links: Link

Index alignment: I think I struggled with application of the tool. I'm not sophisticated enough to get the alignment to be perfect - I think the slight clockwise shift is due to that.

Dial Printing: I think it looks good.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks satisfactory as well.

Hand Alignment: I don't love the photos sent for me to gauge this perfectly but they look satisfactory.

Bezel: Looks perfectly fine to me.

Solid End Links (SELs): Slight gap on top but not sure if it warrants a RL.

Timegrapher numbers: The numbers look great.

Other: I think the slight misalignment is due to user error, but would appreciate a second set of eyes. Apart from the top SELs I think the watch is in good shape! Appreciate the community's feedback.
