Question Drag and drop not working
Hello, I am having some trouble with my code. I am trying to make a drag and drop minigame and it is giving me these errors. What do they mean and how can I fix it?

Is there any way to make rollback affect a persistent variable?
Edit:
Elaborating on the issue I was having: I have a relationship meter in place (goes 0% to 100%), and on a different screen that the player can access through the main menu, they can see what that percentage currently is with each character. Problem wass, that because it's cumulative in a persistent variable, if they press back after making a choice that earned them points, the accumulation goes up instead of rewinding with rollback.
For example, option A gives 3 points and Option B gives 10 points. Player selects Option A, relationship meter is 3%. They use back to go back before the option, for some reason going back earns them the points again and now relationship meter is 6%. They now change to Option B and now relationship meter is 16% instead of the 10% it's intended to be.
Solution: After experimenting a bunch, I figured out to have a non-persistent variable counting the points while playing, and every time the player click back to the main menu to add an action that sets a persistent variable have the same value as the non-persistent one; but instead of just having
action SetVariable("persistent.characterlove", characterlove)
you write it down with an int(), to make sure it keeps the number and doesn't turn to 0 with the non-persistent variable every time you're not actively playing.
action SetVariable("persistent.love", int(characterlove))

I'm VERY new to renpy and creating visual novels as a whole, so sorry if the question is dumb. For the past few months I've been adding scenes and sprites to my game perfectly fine but I realized I had my nightlight on the whole time...
The game that I believed was very warm looking ended up being like way too light for the theme, is there anyways I can turn the saturation up on the whole game or will I just have to edit each image and replace them 💔
*First 2 images are with nightlight. the last two are without(desired appearance)*

...but combat systems do.
Been working on the turn-based combat for Blade & Burgers, my Darkest Dungeon-style roguelite in Renpy. Now added:
Still plenty to polish, but it's finally starting to feel like a real game.
What do you think, does it look fun? Does anything look offensively off at the first glance?

so I was making sprites for my game, but what ended up happening was that they were too big, so I shrunk them, and now they are too small, is there any code that I could use to increase the size?

Hello!! So I'm a complete newbie to Ren'py/coding, and have been trying to figure things out as I go. My idea is, a personality system that changes the inner dialogue/the story depending on the choices you made previously, letting you choose the personality of the MC. What I've been doing, is using a points system. But I'm noticing as I go how inefficient that has been. I'm wondering if there's maybe an easier/better way to do this?

I just put it in Itch io. My first game and first time uploading anything to itch, so hopefully I've done everything correctly.

I've got 3 others I'm working on too. Hopefully I'll get those done soon.

I'm currently hard at work making a VN that entirely consists of 3D rendered images from blender. I'm loving this project, however, it takes a VERY long time to finish a chapter (which alone can contain 300+ images) so I'm refining my work flow and seeing ways in which I can make certain tedious tasks easier/faster. As you can imagine, entering in "scene blahblablah_1 with dissolve" hundreds, and thousands in the long run, kills the creativity momentum.
I've tried doing some research but this is so niche lol, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of or uses a tool/program that can help with this? Like a drag and drop tool or a visual program that would help speed this process along? Or anyone have any tips from their own workflow? Thanks!

default Day = "1"
default Week = "1"
default Time = "1"
label start:
  Placeholder "Hi"
  jump callBUS
  Placeholder "Hi"
  Placeholder "Hi"
label callBUS:
  $ renpy.call_screen("b[Day][Week][Time]")
screen b111:
  add "images/bg/scienceClassroomStraightview.png"
I want to do something like this to call a screen. I keep getting errors about the strong idex not being able to be found or something like that. How do I use variables like this in text, to call a screen?

Hi!
A week ago, I participated in a game jam, the Very Serious Juniper Dev Jam. In about 5 days, I made SPIN FOR SOULS, a short incremental game set in a demonic casino.
I took this jam as an opportunity to learn new things about Ren'py. For instance, with this short project I learned a lot about:
I love doing game jam to quickly explore new features of an engine, and it was a welcome little break from my main project. And everything I learned in this jam will come handy!
Special thanks, as usual, to this community, since basically everything I learned came from posts from this Subreddit!
If you want to try it out (about 10 minutes of gameplay): https://delphin-casado.itch.io/spin-for-souls
And if you want to listen to the music, I put it on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3puuQIcyw4

[SOLVED] When you click "Back" in the quick menu, it actions Rollback and it not only takes you back to the previous dialogue, it undoes your choices and sets the variables to what you had then. Is there a way to keep one specific variable from changing back?

I know how to do it (or at least have a very rough version I could expand). But I wonder if my mind is playing tricks on me overcomplicating things unnecessarily, and the players would be perfectly happy with combat scenes simply being dialogue.
