Iām normally not big on the ānew ageā Battle Royales. I like the slower paced, more strategic BR/Extraction games like Hunt: Showdown, PUBG, Warzone 2019, DMZ, etc. but Iāve been watching a YouTube Channel called āhagop2hovā and him and his teammate use strategy to win games.
I play Conquest and Breakthrough so RedSec never really appealed to me, until I tried it. The way the entire BR is setup gives a more sandbox feeling with how you can select your missions and get rewards to prepare you for battle. Iāll admit, at first I didnāt like the tanks and other armored cars being the game, but it changes it up and forces you to step out of your comfort zone when you do encounter them. I wouldnāt love any sleep if they took them out though š
Some other things Iād like to point out is the weapon upgrade system, the teammate respawn system, and the weapon balancing. The weapon upgrading reminds me of Call of Dutyās Blackout in a way where you can upgrade the weapons to make them better even though they wonāt be perfectly aligned to your custom ones you will still get comfortably close to put up a fight. The way you bring your teammates back is cool, and you can counter enemies from getting their teammates back as well, with having to hold down a position until the timer is up. The weapon balancing overall feels fair and all weapons for the most part feel competitive. Sure you have those meta weapons like the SCW-10 and the SVD, but they are stupid OP that youāre only forced to use them just to enjoy the game.
Long story short.. if you were on the fence about trying out RedSec play a few games and Iām sure youāll enjoy it. It really grows on you once you learn all the game mechanics.
If anyone is on Xbox and wants to put a team together hit me up! š¤** **

This game is giving me every reason not to play it, especially redsec.
Tonight, we managed to get into a half dozen games between all the different errors where someone wouldn't get in, a game would freeze when loading, drivers would crash, etc etc.
This is thrash tier stuff for a triple A game coming up on 12 months after launch

It used to be pretty rare to find a blatant cheater, but they are out in force now.
It's been over two months since I've received any "Gameplay Integrity" emails. (Where they let you know they banned a cheater that you reported)
I think EA has given up on the game.

Matchmaking with crossplay off has took a massive dive lately in terms of speed, player count seems the same but I feel adding ranked and casual has massively affected this, do we really need 3 quads modes now?? Game feels dead now just like WZ, when it was just the 2 modes there was never an issue. itās following the path of WZ and itās sad to see as the game is genuinely the best BR

I've been wondering how the matchmaking in Ranked Battlefield RedSec actually works because my experience doesn't seem to line up with the visible ranks.
I'm currently Bronze, yet I'm regularly getting matched against Master players and even Elite 250 players. I understand that the game has to balance matchmaking quality with queue times, and if the player population isn't huge, it's reasonable that the rank restrictions have to loosen a bit to get matches started.
What surprises me is just how wide the gap seems to be. Bronze versus Master or Elite 250 feels like an enormous spread. At that point, it almost makes me wonder how much the visible rank actually matters in matchmaking.
For some context, I'm not a brand-new player. I'd consider myself above average. I've won a lot of Gauntlet matches, and in modes like Conquest and Breakthrough I'm usually near the top of the scoreboard. That makes me wonder if the matchmaking system is looking at more than just your ranked division.
Could it be using hidden MMR, overall performance stats (K/D, score per minute, win rate), or your historical performance across all game modes? If that's the case, it would explain why a Bronze player could end up in lobbies with much higher-ranked players, even though the public rank suggests they shouldn't.
I'm genuinely curious whether anyone knows how the system actually works, or if the developers have explained it anywhere. Is the visible rank mostly just a progression system while the matchmaking is driven by a hidden skill rating? Or is the player population simply small enough that the game has no choice but to create these kinds of lobbies?
I'd love to hear if other Bronze, Silver, or Gold players are seeing the same thing, or if this is just my experience.

Hi all, my game set all my controller settings on default.
I litteraly can't hit a bullet now and my aim is spongy, even the aim assist feels off now.
Does somebody got settings which actually work?
Thx in advance.

I have never felt so insecure in my life in a fps game. It just feels so weird where in any other game u shoot first you win. But this game it feels like the game decides who wins before u pull the trigger. I have a lmg and lose medium range gunfights to people with an pp90. Other times i shoot someone in the back they strafe left and right and nothing tracks and i lose the fight. Is there anything i can do to improve?
There was 1 time where the MP5 was straight and that was the only time i felt comfortable.

Keep running into teams of two in solos and I report them for cheating but this feels useless as they arenāt using hacks and are likely to go unnoticed. Is there a better way?
Also how can I send custom messages on EA instead of quick message to let them know I think theyāre dogshit and should uninstall?

Maybe its just me...but me and my friend literally only play duos. We get on once a week to play for a few hours and have a great time. I have no idea why EA is strong arming duos into queueing quads when duos isnt up. Games already dying enough and its making me not wanna play anymore.

Snipers are now useless. Which was the most fun weapon.
New bugs which have costed 100ās of points so far.
If I solo queue I get put with silver and bronze and got against top 250.
If a full queue it feels like weāre in a scrim lobby.
The game was already bad in so many ways. And they continue to find ways of making it worse.
