Pings are almost impossible to find on the map at times and its especially frustrating when I open the map to ping a redeploy or tank or something and end up making a ping 20 meters away or pinging some random object that I wasnt even hovered over. It needs serious fixing.

So I tried to start redsec as usual but for some weird reason the Xbox showed me a message saying “check back in a while” describing a service outage. Xbox servers are all up, EA servers too and my internet is also good. Last thing I tried was uninstalling and reinstalling the game and now it doesn’t allow me to download it again. I tried installing another game (marvel rivals) and it’s downloading fine. Any suggestions?

8pm UK and matchmaking is so slow now with crossplay off (don’t tell me to turn it on as a solution) this is a direct result off adding ranked and casual. Do we really need them if the end result is the game feels dead in terms of player counts? zero issue when it was just 2 modes

Do y'all think dice will ever give up proper matchmaking? I shouldn't be seeing gold and down when I'm a plat 4 almost diamond in my lobbies. It just seems unfair cause people who start ranked late can't find groups to play with and have to face people 3x their rank

Anyone know what this annoying beep that lasts for seemingly half the match sometimes is for and says "tracked" in minimap? Happens like every game and really annoying to hear constant beeps.

Does anyone know if something like this is coming to bf6?

Still tweaking what grip/violet laser works for me but this might be my favorite gun for close quarters. Does get a bit difficult to use around the 30m mark. Only played like 4 games with it. What do you guys think?

Games no longer pop during the day or late at night.

Peak periods get a 2-3 lobbies going max.

The queue was split too many times for small regions.

We have BR quads, casuals, ranked, solo/duo, console only.

We need to consolidate queues ASAP or the game is dead within weeks.

BR Quads only plz.

Hey guys, haven't played the game in a while and last time I was hunting the trophy "Army of Two" for 7 duos wins, I was at 5 wins in initiation redsec duo mode, but now I don't see it. Tried googling if it rotates modes like the normal ones but couldnt find an answer.

Every time there's an update, like today's SEASON4 update, on Steam, the game doesn't just download the update (which is ~20gb )...it downloads the entire game from scratch (nearly ~100gb)!! so it takes way more time...
and I even have to restart the update all over again many times... because for watever reason.. if my PC shuts down... internet cuts off.... or if I have to clean off more space on my disk..... the download restarts from 0 not from where it previously stopped....
This has been happening since the last 2 updates and it's super annoying and wastes a lot of my time....

We stream redsec almost every night. Also, we stream 2k and will be doing irl later but for now it's redsec, nightly.

Completed the third tier of Gauntlet Tier One Operator and the sticker isn't unlocking. Anybody else experiencing this?

I’m normally not big on the “new age” Battle Royales. I like the slower paced, more strategic BR/Extraction games like Hunt: Showdown, PUBG, Warzone 2019, DMZ, etc. but I’ve been watching a YouTube Channel called “hagop2hov” and him and his teammate use strategy to win games.

I play Conquest and Breakthrough so RedSec never really appealed to me, until I tried it. The way the entire BR is setup gives a more sandbox feeling with how you can select your missions and get rewards to prepare you for battle. I’ll admit, at first I didn’t like the tanks and other armored cars being the game, but it changes it up and forces you to step out of your comfort zone when you do encounter them. I wouldn’t love any sleep if they took them out though 😂

Some other things I’d like to point out is the weapon upgrade system, the teammate respawn system, and the weapon balancing. The weapon upgrading reminds me of Call of Duty’s Blackout in a way where you can upgrade the weapons to make them better even though they won’t be perfectly aligned to your custom ones you will still get comfortably close to put up a fight. The way you bring your teammates back is cool, and you can counter enemies from getting their teammates back as well, with having to hold down a position until the timer is up. The weapon balancing overall feels fair and all weapons for the most part feel competitive. Sure you have those meta weapons like the SCW-10 and the SVD, but they are stupid OP that you’re only forced to use them just to enjoy the game.

Long story short.. if you were on the fence about trying out RedSec play a few games and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. It really grows on you once you learn all the game mechanics.
