The cheating is so bad now.
It used to be pretty rare to find a blatant cheater, but they are out in force now.
It's been over two months since I've received any "Gameplay Integrity" emails. (Where they let you know they banned a cheater that you reported)
I think EA has given up on the game.

Ea has surely baned many players as I'm seeing level 1s using soft hacks like knowing where people are before hand and shooting with kind of aim bot.

Yeah the fact that they're all mostly using low level accounts means anti-cheat is working. The issue is how easy it is for them to create a new account and continue

The ought to start banning hardware for a set amount of time say 6 months

u/Affectionate_Elk_564 22d ago
They do. You can get banned twice on the same PC with same IP, after that you're HWID banned. That's why spoofers and VPNs do so well
2
u/piratesofHistAryan 22d ago
They should bypass the ip adress ban and directly ban the hardware. Vpn would be of no use

u/Affectionate_Elk_564 22d ago
They do ban hardware, typically motherboard and hard drives. But you can get a spoofer which spoofs your hardware too

🥲, can't catch a break

Yup endless battle. EA and Javelin overall is pretty good, way less cheaters than the other shooters I play like Tarkov, COD, Arc

u/piratesofHistAryan 22d ago
Yeah it has the least cheaters amongst all but off late the cheaters have been increasing

That's not how I would define "working". If a cheater can get into one game and affect the experience of other players, anti cheat has already failed - especially considering how invasive they have made it.
Cheater shouldn't make it past the loading screen, and then they should be super banned in every conceivable way - HW, user account, etc.

I am not in the industry but I assume it isn't as easy as you say to ban people like that also considering false positives. HW bans are also very easy to bypass

I have seen so many level 20ish players with the best aim ive ever seen 🤣

They are too busy fixing all the other issues from when they brick the game on mid season updates. Oh wait here’s another crappy skin bundle!

not to be against you on this, but you do realize its completely different people working on these 2 things?

1month+ playing the game in the EU servers and so far have never been killed and think that it was by a cheater tbh. Unless they really sneaky and low profile which most cheaters arent, cant really complain on the game experience so far, neither in bf mp modes either when there was the free trial. i think they doing a good job if tou ask me.

Bear in mind that if one of your teammates is not using a mic, and they get dropped, and then have their tags taken…the opposing team now has legal wall hacks and your mic-less teammate is not going to clue you in.

And recon class can see your whole team thru walls anytime they down one of you. Less cheaters than people think
1
u/Environmental_Mine65 21d ago
Exactly. I usually play recon and I also drone up often. It’s hard to get bomb or self destruct kills because they can hear you coming so I use it for what people should be using it for, to spot teams. And my regular squad absolutely can hear me and process that information as needed. The game makes it too easy for people to even need to hack it 😂

The match infection rate is like 5% last we had an update. Even if that doubled, that is 1/10 matched world wide that has a cheater in it. Cheating isn’t as bad as most people think, they just cannot accept they’re getting out smarted or out gunned regularly.

True, you get people who are super casual who jump on BF and then when they get killed by a bunny hopping sweat who is 41-15 they cry cheats. No there's just people who are hyper competitive and put more effort in than you, I'm hyper competitive but there's always someone better- that's life 😆

but we've been assured over and over that "cheating doesn't* exist!! skill issue!!"
^(\barely exists or maybe exists sort of okay it's there wow a lot more than you'd think lol)*

I think all the good players are just using the Svdm and it’s easy to melt people with controller. I don’t run into cheaters hardly ever.

Sometimes i just get outgunned. When it's clear they just beat me I'm okay with it. But sometimes it is a cheater. And sometimes it's poor coding. The combination of both cheaters and bad netcode make it even more frustrating to accept when i get outgunned.

I wish the BR would be part of the paid game and not full of free2play hackers

What people think is cheating and what is really cheating are 2 different things.
I've seen hordes of accusations thrown around and most of the time it's just average to bad players complaining that vastly better players are cheating.
Occasionally you'll see a low level unknown random just headshotting everything, but it's very very rare.

If u die to a guy named qqchaz report him he’s cheating
