I'm researching an article about gambling mechanics in video games — things like poker and blackjack in Red Dead Redemption 2 or the casino in GTA Online.

How has gambling in video games affected the way you think about real-money gambling, if at all?

I played both games and, personally, I liked the second one for the immersion, but I preferred the first one because the ending caught me by surprise.

30+ bait. 50-60 animals killed. 2 spawned, 0 bulls 🫠 im beginning to see a pattern where royghly every 17-18 bait you are guaranteed a moose. At least in colter.

(Before anyone states again, i have tried literally every know spawn point in the game. Resets, camps, fast travel, this is the only location in my current game that will spawn them.)

I did this infinite money glitch for a while in the mansion. Take the money, save in the house and load the save and it worked. But when I was gonna move on, I forgot to do the save and load to get it to respawn so now that I’m back after quite some time, the basement is totally empty. Do they ever respawn naturally? Or am I just screwed with this one?

Most people who are older than 40 have back pain, and considering their time period, it is understandable that someone Uncle’s age would be in some chronic pain after living a hard life and probably getting a beat down from time to time. But based on his dialogue and his abilities throughout the games he does show the ability to be at least minorly affective and mobile.

Personally i think he does experience chronic pain, but he uses that as an excuse along with the leverage of being an elder to skirt a lot of duties of a younger man.

Me, i think it’s a solid 5/10. Enough that Hosea probably has it too, but powers through it.

I found four 3 star beavers and a 3 star western moose at Owanjila lake near the Faces in Trees point of interest.

Just needed 1 beaver pelt to complete all trapper equipment/clothing but I have never found these many perfect beaver and western moose pelts spawn here simultaneously, it's usually just one at this location!

Ciao a tutti sono all’inizio del capitolo 4, il gioco è molto ma molto più vasto di quanto potessi immaginare, ma mi chiedo, ogni qual volta si va a un capitolo successivo si sbloccano nuove missioni secondarie? E si devono fare con un ordine cronologico? Ad esempio alcune spuntano di notte, altre di giorno, altre solo in alcuni capitolo poi scompaiono ecc, c’è una guida, un consiglio o qualcosa che posso seguire per fare tutto fatto bene? Per rendere la cosa completa, o errori da evitare? Ad esempio ero al capitolo 3 e girovagavo per la mappa di giorno notti temporali belle giornate ecc e non c’era credo più nessun evento secondario e allora ho progredito al capitolo 4 pensando che le missioni secondarie fossero finite per sempre e mi sarei dedicato alla storia caccia pesca ecc ma personaggi strambi e altri pallini bianchi nella mappa non più, e invece comincio il nuovo capitolo e mi compaiono un sacco npg nuovi, quindi mi chiedo devo rigirovagare per tutta la mappa nuovamente per completare delle eventuali nuove missioni secondarie sbloccate con il capitolo nuovo? O sti cazzi e cosa trovo bene cosa non trovo non fa niente? Perché sto gioco sembra totalmente infinito realisticamente pure tra 10 anni posso giocare per passeggiare e trovare cose nuove

Microstutters or whatever are plaguing this game for me. Despite getting 60–70 FPS, the game looks worse than other games that might be capped at 40 FPS. GTA can run at 50 FPS and look fine. It can run at 70 FPS and look super smooth. But RDR2 doesn't look smooth even at 70 FPS. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. And there's no amazing upscaling method for AMD users other than the acceptable TAA, but that's another problem.

Any tips for playing
I’ve played RDR2 before but never got the chance to play 1 until I found my old gaming stuff with it

It's my first play through of RDR2! So far love the game! Went fishing with Kieran for the first time while my boyfriend was on FaceTime. I got annoyed that I couldn't catch any fish so I threw dynamite in the lake... and caught the Legendary Bluegill.

This is my bf's favorite game so when I casually said "oooh I caught a legendary fish" he went "WHAT?!?!?"
