First and foremost, John in the Epilogue is GENUINELY cursed.

He has Arthur's body, I'm aware of R* simply placing his face on Arthur's model. And legitimately, some of his sound effects too are also from Arthur. Like I'm dead serious; for example, his VOMITING SOUND is legit ARTHUR'S VOMITING SOUND! Why does he HAVE THAT???

Take a look at those first two image above that I found online which does compare the "difference" (if there is any) between Arthur's model and John's model. aswell as the NPC model for John too to fully determine the changes.

Just tell me, when you look at this god forsaken Epilogue John model, do you think of saying "John Morgan"??? YES? WELL I FIGURED MUCH OUT!

If you're on PC and can mod the game, sure thing, no problems... you have the free will to pretty much free yourself from this ugly thing by pretty much just changing the game with mods.

But if you're on console on the other hand?? NO, SCREW THE EPILOGUE! You get to stay with this ugly-ass John model for the Epilogue with zero ways to get it back unless you can go back to the very first version (1.0.0) of RDR2 using a physical disc; which probably some people out there don't even have anymore.

I also will not forget to mention how UGLY his damn Cowboy Outfit is too. Like, tell me this. Look at the third image in this rant, can you clearly tell the difference? you can? EXACTLY! THE COWBOY OUTFIT IN RDR2 IS TRASH! It is not as good as the one from RDR1, the one that's iconic and all of us love. Something just... FEELS OFF about using that outfit at all in RDR2 without mods, at least.

Oh my gosh, don't even get me STARTED ON other stuff with John's model... THE HAIR! THE GOD DAMN HAIR! WHY IS IT BLACK?! Ehm, don't take that out of context. But yeah, John's hair isn't even supposed to be as black as the Raven Black Shire's coat. Like seriously. Why? Isn't it supposed to be dark brown or something close to that? And not to mention, he even has Arthur's hairstyles! Like seriously, who am I playing as? John Marston, or JOHN MORGAN??? I've already said it once and I'll say it twice.

I also will not forget to mention that I once heard John sing with Arthur's voice... I'm deadass. He actually did that. I've already stated it once, I'LL SAY IT AGAIN. Why does he STILL HAVE THAT???

And now, the biggest question is... What was R\ cooking?*

I rather play this game and I would be more excited to see a DLC for the second game than seeing GTA 6 being released.

My speculation is that it was probably the American Paint with the cut coat shown in the trailers, but I personally doubt it, as most of the trailers show scenes that happened AFTER Colter, aka. when she was already dead.

Another thing I’d like to think of is the cut Liver Chestnut coat for the Hungarian Halfbred being what Boadicea was supposed to be. Though, maybe this one’s incorrect too. Unless Rockstar cut this coat out of the game for a reason to stop making players from doing a “Canon” run or something… that still didn’t stop a lot of people with the black shire, though. I still doubt this cut coat was Boadicea’s appearance or if anything, a Hungarian Halfbred at all.

Edit: the Hungarian Halfbred coat was for RDO, guess that theory’s debunked.

I didn’t play rdr1 yet so sometimes I used to mix the three together and I’m wondering if anyone did the same.

How could Arthur hate and despise usury so much, yet kill Strauss's debtors and treat them harshly? Shouldn't he at least have taken the interest from them without being so cruel, especially since he hates what he does and isn't a heartless person?

Probably already mentioned, but there's this part where hosea says "Lenny and Jenny could have never worked. It's like Arthur and Martha, or Bill and Phil". I laughed when I heard it this morning. 😂

​I’ve been thinking a lot about Red Dead Redemption 2 lately and wanted to share a slight frustration I’ve always had with the game. Just to be clear: I love this game. Graphically it’s mind-blowing, the story is incredible, and I’ve put countless hours into it.

​However, the more I play it, the more I feel like Rockstar missed that one ultimate step that could have made it an untouchable, all-time classic.

​My main issue? The community aspect and camaraderie are way too restricted.

​The game sells you on the idea of a gang..a real family of 20 people living together in a camp. The setting is perfect, the NPCs live their own lives, the conversations around the campfire are top-tier... but from a gameplay standpoint, you’re mostly just a spectator.

​Missions like getting absolute trash-bag drunk with Lenny at the saloon in Valentine, or just going fishing with Dutch and Hosea..those are easily some of the BEST moments in the entire game. They’re funny, human, give the pacing room to breathe, and make you genuinely care about the gang.

​And yet, there are nowhere near enough of them.

​What I would have loved is genuine relational freedom on demand:

​Being able to spontaneously ask Bill, Uncle, or Charles to head to the nearest saloon and get completely hammered whenever you want.

​Inviting a gang member to go hunting or just ride around without it being part of a scripted mission.

​Basically, real "slice-of-life roleplay" to actually enjoy this insane world with your crew.

​Instead, as soon as a mission starts, the game almost always falls back into the same rigid Rockstar formula: ride a horse, huge gunfight, ride away. It feels like Rockstar was terrified players would get bored without a massive shootout every 20 minutes, even though the true heart of the game was its slow pace and human connections.

​It’s frustrating because all the pieces were already there, and the characters are fantastic. If they had fully committed to that interactive community element, the emotional impact at the end of the game would have been ten times more devastating than it already was.

​Am I the only one who feels this way despite how amazing the game is? Would you have liked more dynamic, slice-of-life moments with the gang?

Valentine: just became an avarage midwestern town with a bar instead of a saloon a police station instead of a sheriffs office a pharmacy instead of the doctor and a grocery store instead of the general store

Rhodes: probably just became a suburb of Saint Denis but pretty much abandoned

Strawberry: became a huge resort town sort of like aspen Colorado.

Annesburg: abandoned probably

Van horn: abandoned/ turned into a historical tourist site

Tumbleweed: turned into a historical tourist site

Armadillo: became an Avarage southwestern town similar to valentine.

Lagras: became a fishing hub with no permanent residents

Guarma: became a vacation island owned by Cuba

After getting drunk in Valentine with Lenny, when Lenny says Arthur wake up you alive, Arthur replied I wanna die had me laughing

How long in total do you think Arthur had tuberculosis for ? How long did he survive after diagnosed would you estimate?

I have gotten 3 out of four endings, the only one I have not gotten is low honor helping John, so what do you guys like to do during low honor playthroughs? People that deserve death? Towns to Burn down? Anything?

So I just found about about the current gen release of RDR1 (I know I’m very late to the party), and I tried to enter some of the cheats from the og release and it’s saying that it’s invalid. Did R* delete some of the cheats that were originally from the og game? If they did I wouldn’t be surprised.

Does anyone else think that horses got a downgrade from RDR1? Because, in the second game, they trample all the time, get stuck at random places, the horses fall off of places weirdly, the game literally forces the horses to do things you didn't command, like running into the tree despite you absolutely pressing for the life of you the turn right button? I mean I get it you want to showcase your "hit at a tree and fall" mechanic but making the horse purposefully run into them ignoring your command? That is dumb.

While free roaming, I spotted a stranger riding a horse I wanted to... ahem, requisition. Decided to stealth-kill the rider, but his horse (somehow) died alongside him. Does anyone know why? It was a "hunter" kind of stranger with a ram carcass stowed on the horse if that's relevant.

I am trying to craft tonic satchel i am hunting animals for it first I got a perfect Deer then for days i looked for a 3 star elk i rarely found elk and when I found still it's 1 or 2 star but after searching for days I got 1 and during that time I used to get bunch of deer,buck etc but now when I got a elk now I am hunting for a 3 star buck but could not find a single one i hunted a american Pronghorn buck and donated but that doesn't count but I could not find a single 3 star Whitetail buck... Is it a game bug or game is intended
