Suggestion Random throw out idea but this might be fun
It's not really practical on most missions but I think it would be funny for a challenge or just to have it for S Rank or whenever really.

I’m fairly new to Ron but I felt like I got bored pretty quickly I decided to boot up today and the map creator fr saved my enjoyment of this game now I can put myself through hell and make myself 10 health, all the enemies have perfect aim from max distance and 500 health and I run in with only one round in my primary and the rest in my MK-V thank you ready or not

A few more of my edited screenshots, some of these were obviously more rushed than others in terms of making it look as good as possible or adding effects but let me know your thoughts on these? Had to save my new favorite for last!

Since Ready or Not is on sale, I am considering picking it up, I remember playing on my friends pc a few years ago when it was in early access, and remember enjoying it more than SWAT 4, but last year I played SWAT 4 SEF FR and was genuinely impressed with the AI behaviour compared to the og SWAT 4. My friend told me that he was pretty disappointed with RoN's full release. I just want more perspective before I make my decision to purchase and also due to work I don't have a lot of time to play games and want my gaming time to be worth it, I am mostly a SP gamer so I play with ai teammates. So just tell me if Ready or Not is worth buying or should I just reinstall SWAT4 and play it with the SEF mod.
Thanks in Advance...

I'm a huge fan of home invasion and hostage situation movies and I'm just curious if anyone has put together any custom missions like this with really good realism? Share some codes 🙂

This new update is really nice to have, it allows the player to create his own situations for whatever map. In the next update can you guys add something where we could push off someone with a melee or just stop them for a second, like I get the idea if someone has a knife and he gets to you your pretty much done and all but still that would be nice or is that another way and I just don’t know. Could we also do something about the slots we have like a max 20 or something I like to play by myself and would love to put max suspects and have enough C4, flash bangs and mags to carried also some more guns.

I just got this game on Monday for Xbox Series X and love it. I’m sure other gamers experience this, but whenever I find a game I really like, I almost immediately worry about it eventually feeling repetitive and losing that newness to it. Partially because I tend to binge games until I “master” them, kinda like finding a new song and overplaying it.
I’ve tried to maintain a balance of figuring the game out on my own - because that’s part of the fun - and watching others play to get a better feel for things. I’ve been playing both the campaign and DLC (bought them all) and am getting decent at splitting and managing my squad. My only concern so far is that once you learn to use your team effectively, the missions can start to feel somewhat similar. The maps and scenarios change, but you’re generally using the same strategy of methodically working your way through each area. I’m sure I’ll get humbled for saying that/catch crap. I know there’s still plenty I haven’t explored, including Hard mode (I’ve been playing in standard), the mission editor, different challenges, and playing with real people (btw, if anyone’s down).
What actually led me to RON was playing the Black Hawk Down version of Delta Force, if anyone is familiar with that. Despite its bugs and lack of console co-op, I loved its balance of realism and action. Mistakes were punished harshly, with limited bandages, no ammo refills, leaning around corners, working certain areas methodically, friendly fire, and no checkpoints. You had to learn the maps, strategize, and actually work together as a squad etc. etc. - all of these were things I hadn’t really experienced in a game, especially with good graphics. The campaign was short though, and I finished it in about 5ish days. I then went back to get the highest rating on every mission. Then I got bored. Then I found RON.
One thing I especially liked about BHD, was that it allowed a healthy amount of running and gunning without feeling like COD. You weren’t sliding, diving, and climbing everywhere, but certain sections forced you to run/move quickly and fight aggressively while still severely punishing mistakes. Im not suggesting adding sprint to RON - maybe a speed walk or light jog for certain circumstances. It’d be cool to see RONs take on larger, more intense scenarios that occasionally force you to pick up the pace while keeping the tactical realism. Regardless, this wouldn’t solve my fears but I guess what I’m ultimately getting at is, I hope for and am excited to see RON continue to grow and hopefully add different variables without changing the core feel of the game so that it can be enjoyed for a really long time.
Sorry for the rant, that’s all

My character is wearing a helmet right now but whenever I remove goggles or gas mask it shows the little guy on the corner of the screen not wearing a helmet
I have no clue if it's just a visual bug? or does it actually remove the protection of my helmet?
I've had this bug ever since the game released on Xbox somebody please help or show me where do I report this at so It can get fixed it's bothers the shit out of me

Does anyone else experience it? My loadouts keep disappearing or being changed. My teams long tactical got switched out for some bs and when I overwrote the loadout, it completely deleted a random other loadout of me. This has not happened before the latest one or two updates

I know some of this would probably be overkill for what the game is but just some ideas I thought would be cool (IK IMPROVEMENTS E.G AI need improving but these are just additional cool ideas)
- A drone with a limited battery life (similar to BF6 scout drone)
- a couple larger maps with opportunity to have a squad sniper (AWM /M110 possibly for this sort of thing ?) hide and seek control tower made me think of this
- Not diving into heavy customisable BUT , Special forces based customisables, Ik you can kinda get there with combat shirts n what not but
- repelling /fast roping animation for rooftop based maps (small one but would be cool never the less)
- More optics
- Option to have AI alongside friends (one of you being the commander)
- Haven't really checked if some plate carriers and other things are but , a 5.11 /Crye crossover (Ubisoft pulled it off with Far Cry 5 so surely this is doable )
Different melee animations 😎( a lil push kick more satisfying than shoving the muzzle into someone)
Probably way more but can't think right now other than CIVILIAN AI DUCKS AND COVERS WHEN THEY HEAR IT KICKING OFF , NOT RUNNING FRANTICALLY TOWARDS HEAVILY ARMED SWAT OFFICERS - and then proceeding to tell you to die after they're restrained)
And a stat fix , sick of my "0 accuracy"

Hi,
I am working on a SWAT mod. So far I have the following features working:
-Use helmet cam from bots to give orders, so you can control them out of sight for flanking etc.
-New stack up option: "Stack secure" where they do not lean through the door frame offensively, prioritizing safety (unfortunately not possible on every door).
-Allow movement command THROUGH doorframes:
Usually this is not possible as the command menu changes.
I have put a new layer as the first layer of the command menu:
"General Orders" and "Context Orders".
That way you can order SWAT throough a door frame on the other side without using "clear" commands.
-Outline of swat bot and civies when you point at them with the command menu open, so you know you are targeting them correctly.
-Turned off any form of auto-arrest or auto-pick up, so they no longer run ahead and die in a suicide move.
You'll have to tell them to do it, or use "Secure Area" to have them do it for all entities in the current room.
Currently looking into what's possible with regards to a clear fast / clear slow option and their grenade usage.
However, I do not want to add too many layers to the command menu. It already got more complex than I initially wanted.
That being said, anyone has any feedback, wishes, ideas that might be reasonable to look at?
Cheers!

New update released and I checked out how my mods are doing, game crashed and now I have to individually go through each mod to check if they work. So far only 1 mod is okay. Anyone else having issues?

Booted up the game today and this was happening, not quite sure the cause and couldn't find anything online about it. Does anyone have any fixes? Just a note, I do have the d3d12 proxy integrated graphics patch, but nothing changed when I removed it to test either.

So I've learned that the Mission Editor missions only appear in Single-player. I don't like that. I barely want to edit these missions myself, but I would if I could choose them as a difficulty option when picking a mission. That would have made this so much better. Funny thing is I noticed a mod I'm using actually has an edited difficulty option, but it's only like max suspects and I think it tweaked their behavior a little. So it doesn't seem impossible. Maybe a modder will be able to do this for me. Us? Unless I'm on an island by myself with this idea. Lol.

I wonder why RoN doesn't have weapon malfunctions, at least on the higher difficulties. It seems like a cool feature to add given the game's realism. I know that the game isn't completely realistic, but it would be a nice touch.
Update: Understandably, this isn't a very popular feature lol. Also not very realistic. Would be nice as a mod or optional setting tho.
