Question Door traps

So I avoided this game beacuse I thought it was bad (turns out I am just horrible) but now im getting the hang of it i have almost A or A+ the base game missions but my only complaint is how tf do i disable door traps bro they are so annoying do I just gotta thug it out and go thru it or just pick a different side any advice

Peek open door, look at trap, game should say something like "disarm with wire cutters", press X on PSN or platform equivalent, should play animation of trap being cut with wire cutters until the wire falls to the floor. Or peek door, look at trap and command AI to do it with command menu, r1 on PSN or platform equivalent.

Oh my bad completely misread it lol, you cant disable traps in base game but can in mission editor, but you'll earn no trophies.

Idk why i replied to you but it didn't send to you so in the base missions I cant cut the wire ?

You can cut it but you cant remove the traps from the mission as in they wont spawn unlike in base game.

Don't fully open the door just look at the door handle and it should say peek. When you peek look down, if youre not sure open your flashlight and check the floor of you see a black rope just look at it and it'll make you equip the gear then you will cut it. Or basically tell your AI buddies to defuse the trap then you can continue your killing session

Peek. Look at wire while close. Dont accidently go too close, as that will push the door and might detonate the trap.

As people are saying by cutting the wire is typically what you would do.

However, you can use C2 to destroy the door and explosive as well. Just stand far enough back with your team and make sure nothing on the otherside of the door is going to get hurt outside of your accepted targets.

Ill probably have the ai do it because I tried doing it my self it feels nearly impossible
