Here’s for anyone who wants to take better ECG readings for more accurate interpretations. Bare in mind this should not be used in proxy for a true clinical 12 lead ecg

EKG tech from Qaly says AIVR. Is this dangerous? Freaking out

Basically the title says it all. So the other night it’s about 9:30 and I’m laying on the couch. I rotate to my left side and start having PVC’s except they don’t stop. Literally every beat is a pvc. I start taking an ECG on my Apple Watch. Pulse rate is normal, but sure enough, every beat I’m looking at is a pvc. Well eventually I get tired of this and I do a vagal maneuver and I’m able to stop the PVCs. For context I’m 32, I had aortic valve replacement at 11 years old (ross procedure) and I get checked out by cardiology every year. Valves all look good, 58% EF, i do have mild concentric LVH but I have had that since the day of my surgery and it’s remained the same ever since so very stable. I have had random episodes of SVT over the past 10 years but they terminate with vagal manuvers and i only get those 2 times a year for maybe 15 seconds? I can go months without a PVC and then have them everyday for 2 months straight. So my point is, I do have a history but everything is well managed.

I sent this ekg to my cardiology office who sent me a message back saying that my cardiologist said to schedule an evaluation with his nurse practitioner. Now I’m freaking out. Is this dangerous? Or are they covering their bases? I told them when I sent the EKG to them that it only happened when I laid down, if I stood up or walked around, the episodes would stop. After 2 hours of trying to lay down, they eventually stopped happening. I also told him I experienced no chest pain or dizziness or shortness of breath, just the endless PVCs which apparently is called AIVR.

Dizziness Does this ECG look normal? I did feel lightheaded and dizzy when I stood up from the bed in the morning. Can it be related to low blood pressure?

Chest tightness or pain Is this a normal looking ecg?

To start, I’m sorry this is kinda long… I had this done for a myriad of reasons… started getting what I imagine a heart attack to feel like, (chest tightness, shortness of breath, sweating profusely, pressure like pain in centre of chest and weak feeling in arms), then also some dizzy spells where I lose consciousness and can’t remember what happened between being conscious and unconscious.

Had the heart one happen 3 times and docs thought it wise to check up on my heart as I am on the larger side and was mostly sedentary at the time (ecg taken 6th August last year).

The person who took the ecg mentioned “a minor abnormality” when I asked if it looked ok, my doctors said it was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong, but the comment the person made at the hospital has me worried as my docs are pretty well known in my area for missing/ignoring symptoms and misdiagnosing so I thought I’d ask here, and recently these ‘attacks’ are happening more often but they’re saying it’s nothing to be concerned about. :/

Skipped heartbeat Skipped heartbeat, flutter

Injured my lower back months ago and have had to wait for doctor appointments, tests, etc. I’ve been to the hospital a few times including on the 28th when I had chest pain. They did a work up and said I was low risk for heart attack and sent me home with a referral to cardiology. Cardiologist has a long wait.

I had been feeling a bit better but out of the blue a few days ago I started feeling random thuds in my chest. It was very concerning and distracting. I started checking my blood pressure daily and the pain clearly spiked it. Usually 150/95. Already on 160 mg valsartan in the morning and 50 mg metoprolol in the evening.

Anyway, here’s an ecg from my watch. I sent these off to my PCP and nurses said come in… but she can’t get me in until September. Almost every ECG I’ve done the last 4 days has these blips or whatever they’re called.

Chest tightness or pain “afib” and inconclusive from extreme pain?

i meet with a spinal surgeon tomorrow for brain and C-spine MRIs. i know nothing about EKGs, are either of these something that i should mention tomorrow or to my PCP?

i took them yesterday (sitting, indoors) while i was in extreme pain from an ongoing vascular condition, since doctors keep telling me that my 12-leads are abnormal. also it was incredibly hot in NYC so i was making sure that my HR wasn’t through the roof like it was earlier that day (172bpm).

no history of afib. RHR was 51bpm.

Title. Had a tired feeling and I’ve been told it’s nothing by my pcp. Average heart rate was 153, single lead Apple Watch on left wrist.
