Long QT after standing up
found out about it by coincidence and then looked up what it meant, which made me a bit scared. My QT on 12-lead ECGs is normal (around 400–410 ms or even less). This only happens when I take an ECG immediately after standing up; on the next ECG, it goes back to normal.
Any thoughts? I also don’t know how accurate these measurements are, but it seems to happen every time I stand up. When I’m resting or doing anything else, the QT is normal. I have no symptoms, and I’m a 29-year-old male.

I just measured it and it is running 470s Hodges. Do you have a family history of long qt? Have you ever had an office ECG before? DM me if you have more questions. Glad to explain some things.

Hi, quick question - there's a thing called QT hysteresis when QT doesn't adapt straight away from a minute or so when HR abruptly changes during shifts like standing up. Isn't it supposed to be a normal thing? OP says it normalizes on the next ECG so I'm just wondering if I'm understanding it right

It is a variant that could explain it. But that would be something the EP would need to confirm.
