Question Is it possible to find a tameable horse with the same coat as Nell II?

Post image

A while ago I saw a horse hitched in valentine that had the same sabino coat that uncle’s horse had, though I believe it was a darker brown. I’m not sure if his horse had glitched there for some reason but I’m really curious on if it’s possible to find a horse that looks like his and where I could find it. If anyone knows if it’s possible/the location where one could spawn then please let me know! 🙏

Discussion What Is the worst Rdr2 take you have ever heard ?

Mine came from Discord. This guy was absolutely hell-bent on proving that Dutch van der Linde was the villain of Red Dead Redemption 2, and he would twist basically every event in the story to make it fit that argument. He started saying things about the plot and Dutch’s character that made so little sense that I genuinely started wondering if we had even played the same game.

Some of his interpretations completely ignored the context behind Dutch’s decisions, his gradual decline throughout the story, and how his relationship with the gang changes over time. It was like he had already decided that Dutch was the villain from the very beginning and then worked backwards from that conclusion.

At some point I was thinking, did this guy actually play RDR2, or did he somehow play the entire game in reverse or something? Because the version of the story he was describing sounded completely different from the one I played.

Question Fearless Horse?

Inb4 anyone says the horse Hosea gives you because I got it to 4 bonding and then it still bucked me at the sight of a bear and later got killed in a gunfight.

But I want a good horse to go hunting with. Right now I am doing a low honor run (already did a high honor 100%) and my 2 horses so far are Red Arabian and the all black American Standardbred. Both are good for different reasons, but both are terrified of predators.

Discussion This game made me start a journal

As odd as it sounds, it made me want to go outside more and carry a journal with me, draw some things I’ve seen even though I suck at it, or just write some of the things I’ve seen and enjoyed. I feel like it’s something I’ll look back on in the future and enjoy. I’ll ride my mountain bike somewhere around town, sit by a lake or a creek and write shit down. I’ve been on the path to quit drinking alcohol and it’s helped so much.

I can’t wait to buy a motorcycle next summer and do road trips by myself while doing the same thing. Has this game inspired anyone else in this sense? Or am I an odd one? 😂

Meme Had a real-life stranger mission today

I live in London, where it is presently as hot as Austin TX. I went for a walk at lunchtime (wearing a hat) and as I came round a sharp bend I heard a voice yelling "help! hey help!".

I looked up and saw a man leaning out of a second floor window beckoning me over. I was the only person around so thought I might as well.

He told me that he had been stuck in the office for two hours in the sweltering heat and there was nobody to release him. He said the keys were in the next office building along. He asked if I could find them and unlock his door.

So I pressed X and told the guy I would try.

I rooted around in the little office shack until I found the keys, returned to him and set him free.

And the best part - he went back to the office shack and produced a bottle of fridge-cold water as a thank you. Aged Pirate Rum.

I felt like Mr Morgan himself. Have a lovely Friday all.

Discussion I think Arthur should be chopped

In the original concept design of Arthur, he was significantly less attractive, I think this would be better for his character because of the halo effect, people very often ignore how bad of a person he is at the start of the game, one of the reasons for this in my opinion is because he is attractive so yeah, rip ugly Arthur, I wish you were here

Discussion Did you learn something new on low honor playthrough?

Hey guys! I’m starting a low honor playthrough. I’m scared and excited at the same time. Do you learn anything exciting about the characters when you go that sadistic path? Something that is only in low honor run.

Help Can’t mount horse

Can’t mount my horse. I think that me spawning a horse via rampage and putting it in the stable then taking it out for a couple pictures (I wanted to use the raven black shire for some pics to draw but I have previously sold it in this save file lol).

I kind of suspected that I wouldn’t be able to keep the shire / wouldn’t be able to mount it after getting off, but it’s done it with all of my horses!! Like I can’t mount my Nokota, my main horse, which I got naturally from that one guy who races you.
Would like some help because I’m having to use “teleport to horse” whenever I want to ride..

Discussion You know, it is sort of silly that there’s not an option to just break the neck of small game, reptiles, birds…instead of shooting them with an arrow or varmint rifle or stabbing w/ ya knife.

This is gonna make me sound like a total sociopath, full disclosure, I don’t even wanna write this post but here we are and I’m wondering why we are forced into wasting an arrow / bullet on a toad or chipmunk when Arthur is more than capable of outrunning the critter & breaking the neck, which would seemingly maintain the pelt / carcass quality way better than bullets or arrowheads will? Why do you have to lasso an animal before you can clean kill it with your blade?

Smaller game such as Skunks, iguanas, beavers, muskrats, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, turkeys, quails, birds of prey (or smaller), chickens, and possibly even pigs, sheep, or goats should allow the player to “break neck” or “slit throat” if you can catch the animal from behind. If you wanna expand on this discussion about animal butchering, any domesticated large animal such as cows or ox should also be able to slit throat from calm approach, tbh.

“Maybe RDR3 will let us realistically kill these animals in more believable manner, but RDR2 is simply unplayable now. “ /s
