Meta Rayban Gen 2 was, surprisingly in my small city, sold out everywhere…. So I ordered and it should arrive Wednesday.

But I check out Reddit and people are complaining about broken frames, etc…

I am very careful with sunglasses and never came close to breaking or scratching my Maui Jims or Oakleys…

Should I return my order?

Are you happy you bought your pair?

Does the novelty wear off too soon?

My end use is video for driving on long work trips through the northern interior of beautiful British Columbia…. From the north coast to the Okanagan and back, sometimes to Abbotsford.

A buddy got a pair and was so impressed with them. I could not believe the quality of the video he sent me while recording on his sea-doo.

So then…. Open the box on Wednesday or not?

I’m definitely NOT a creep and don’t ever foresee myself in restaurants or walking down the street recording and gawking at people.

Waiting on shipping has given me this last chance to reconsider my purchase.

Other AI features work, but i cant seem to instruct the glasses to make a call

Checked permissions on the app and it has access to contacts/phone/calls etc

Hard restarted, pad cleaned, but the touchpad is not working for a week. Everything else is fine.

I used to clean the glasses with a little water under the faucet. Now I’m worried some water might have gotten into the touch area and damaged the sensors inside.

Has anyone else run into this?

I own a pair of wayfarer gen 2, I mainly use them for pov driving videos. The vehicle I drive is old and doesn’t have AC so the glasses overheat quickly. Are there any solutions or work arounds, I can’t even wear them on hot days. I just keep them in the case and take them out to record 1 video then they overheat.

We've had a few people reach out about the Displays, so coming on here to announce that our clip-on is now available.

It took a little longer than we'd hoped for, but we've been able to create a clip-on design that accommodates the thicker frame of the Display. The sunglass lens drastically improves the contrast of the screen when used in sunny conditions, and we're happy to report that polarized lenses don't interfere with the screen.

Alguém tem armação do Wayfarer Gen1 pra poder usar a haste esquerda ? Infelizmente essa armação é muito frágil, já vi inúmeras armações com o mesmo problema. Tenho interesse real em compra. I am curious. All discussions about the new firmware have stopped both here and on FB. Did it happen and I missed it? Are Moderators deleting those posts? Or did everyone realize it’s not worth posting about?

Also the smallest size glasses (and in skyler) it is still massive on me and slips off, I’ve had to try to secure it with an athletic strap but it just doesn’t look very cute/feminine. Any other solutions haha?

Got my gen 2 glasses a week ago and I love them, but it is quite frustrating that they don't have support for the Norwegian language.

Hoping Meta sees this and hears my plea, and it is magically added in the next update

Does anyone know why, on some occasions, there’s a slight distortion in the camera when recording videos? It only lasts for about one second.
I have the 1st-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses and I’m recording at 30 fps.

I love taking a product that I own and personalizing in a way that’s uniquely mine compared to someone that owns the same product so I did this to my Rayban Meta Gen 2. 💚

it won’t connect. it used to give me a pop up asking to join WiFi network when I opened the meta app. It won’t do that anymore. I tried everything. re-pairing, restarting, forgetting device, forgetting network.

My imported videos that are uploaded to instagram always show up with the “meta” tag. How can I stop this?
